First class

We met Britelite at the Grand Designs home show and then they came to give us a quote on replacing our conservatory with a more solid extension. The experience was really positive, everyone we dealt with was helpful and responsive and the build team were brilliant. There was a little snagging to be done and this was all arranged and executed promptly. Most importantly, we are delighted with the end result.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The quote was very competitive and communication good. Surveyor turned up and we made a couple of small adjustments to our original plan.
The scaffolding company came when booked and were quick and efficient.
The fitters, Geoff and Liam, arrived exactly on time both mornings. Both really nice people and carried out the fitting as planned ( fitting in with our sleeping baby grandson!) Their work was to a high standard and everything for opening, cleaning and vents was clearly explained after the fitting was complete. Each room was cleaned up as they went and all was left in good condition.
Would highly recommend Geoff and Liam - they were a credit to Britelite. Thanks.

I recently had some replacement windows fitted. It was an excellent experience dealing with Britelite from start to finish, everyone from my original enquiry to final installation was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and supportive. Geoff and Liam who installed the windows done were very efficient and completed the job perfectly.

Really good experience with Britelite to change several windows in a conversion flat. The design, sales and financing process was smooth, but most importantly, the installation process by Lambi and Oli was excellent. Really happy with the new windows and their excellent craftsmanship.

disconnected saleswith the rest of the process - ie. planning for survey through to installation and the final actual product spec.

sales is very personable and convincing. But lots of issues after contract is signed leading to the actual product not really meeting what I thought I'll be getting. for example, timing of survey was changed without informing us ; contract was stopped because of parking issue but when I rang to ask why it was then removed miraculously; installed product doesn't have a hinge at the bottom of the window to stop the window from being blown wide open with gusty wind. the contract and survey drawing wouldn't show you these details . And survey drawings are all technical drawings including technical terms which I have to chase for them to explain before signing. Even then, we don't know what details should be there and the missing bottom window hinge is the example. their customer service contact also get disconnect frequently.

In summary, just make sure ask lots of questions , put them in writing, even up to survey drawings.

agreed Survey appointment was morning but no one turned up. Only when I rang the customer service (numerous time after being disconnected) did someone said it was booked for the afternoon.

parking permit resolved - yes it was, finally. It involved emails on contract being terminated due to parking issues that would require council permission to park. Only to be resolved later as a non issue and the person who took ownershop to look into this (Ginny) couldn't explain why. Also involved several disconnected customer service calls and

hinge issue - should have been a default feature of all windows. At no point from sales through technical spec was it flagged to me this wasn't one. yes, finally resolved only at additional cost.

The installers were brilliant and were finished in the day. However the actual sales team was a different matter. For them alone I wouldn’t recommend britelite. We asked for brick to brick installation of three windows and were assured there would be no add ons. There were. Extra charges for “sash” removals of two windows which the surveyor found were added on. Then when argued we got a reduction in charges but still an “add on”. Surely this should have been accounted for (as a possibility) when I said brick to brick. Then when discovered there were no sashes, which indeed there weren’t, (they could have given a reduction in cost), instead call to get this reduction after the fact turned into a case of “well we still have to finish the window surround now” was ridiculous, as again should have been part of the quote. Long story short we gave in arguing and paid the extra and when it comes time to replace two other windows and a door we shan’t call them. I might add that the minute the installers had left our property britelite were on the phone for immediate payment (which we’d agreed to earlier but had barely shut our front door when they called). We also agreed to their sign being put up on initial visit which we regret to say we are living with for a month. Needless to say never again.

The company were very helpful and the workman arrived promptly and worked hard to remove the old conservatory and lay new foundations. The construction of the new conservatory was done very efficiently. Everyone was polite and the whole thing was completed on time. I am very pleased with the finished job.

Absolutely great from start to finish. Their representative Nick who made the initial contact was very knowledgeable, exerted no selling pressure, was very polite and explained all options open to us. Every other stage from the surveyor to the office staff and finally the fitter were excellent. Well done to all. Oh and the final product -french doors- fantastic. Would highly recommend this company for excellent products, service and a great price.

Excellent Upgrade and Outstanding Service!
I had Britelite install double glazing window fittings, and was pleasantly upgraded to triple glazing — what a fantastic surprise! The quality of the windows is outstanding; they look great and have made a noticeable difference in insulation and noise reduction. The customer service throughout the process was amazing — professional, friendly, and very attentive. I’m genuinely impressed with the whole experience and would highly recommend Britelite to anyone considering new windows!

After lengthy conversations with the various window suppliers I opted to use Britelite to replace two windows at the front of my property and the front door to reduce noise from the nearby road and railway line. On the day the fitter arrived promptly and was very pleasant however within the first hour a picture was knocked off the wall and frame smashed. The install started at 7.15am and finished at 4pm and whilst looked great it was almost instantly noticeable that my upgrade to triple glazing had increased noise levels not reduced. Whether this is due to the fit or the trickle air vents which previous windows did not have I'm not sure, however it's thoroughly disappointing and the opposite to what i had hoped. The door however was more pleasing and with a tight fit there are no gaps and noise here has been reduced.

We appreciated the work of the Britelite team which helped effect window replacements at short notice serving to uplift a family stressed by health issues
