Been buying cars from BCA for 36 years
Been buying cars from BCA for 36 years, never before have I had to deal with such a shockingly run company it was bearable before covid but now horrendous the ball is always in there court with no negotiations whatsoever absolutely nobody cares, it’s a case of take it or leave it, I’m currently buying my stock elsewhere, hope one day soon it will come back to haunt them and they fold, The buying fees are the highest out there,
And it’s almost impossible to speak to someone at any level. Should be 0 stars!
I am in the motor trade
I am in the motor trade, camper conversions, I was told by many people to avoid BCA but opened an account anyhow, to buy online possibly, there's a shortage on the market of used vans, so in desperation bought one online bca UK gcr which I believe are the ones bought by BCA as we buy any car .com and sold through the auction. PLEASE do not make the same mistake as me listen to this advise and Avoid BCA the vehicle I bought is only fit for spares needs gearbox and extensive welding, numerous other faults. not sure how it passed its last mot but is being investigated £2000 out of pocket after selling on for spares
Being a customer of over 33 years and…
Being a customer of over 33 years and never having any problems with BCA, things have changed for the worse, ever since they have stopped having physical auctions. Auctioneers under pressure to get as many cars/vans sold as possible giving incorrect details and NOT describing vehicles correctly is really bad for business. Just look at your reviews on this site, no customer care whatsoever, come on bca its not hard to do the job right.
BCA WOLVERHAMPTON..Firstly if it is was…
BCA WOLVERHAMPTON..Firstly if it is was possible I would give 'zero' stars. Customer service is awful. The so called customer service manager lauren taylor lakin doesn't know the meaning of customer service. Had a vehicle which was paid on time collected on time but she still wanted me to pay storage charges of £40.8. Even when another branch member had called her to waive the charges as they weren't related to that invoice and had nothing to do with that vehicle. The centre manager 'howard ryder' also is awful as he wasn't helpful at all in resolving the issue and instead told me that if I wasn't going to pay the £40.8 I wasn't going to get the vehicle. Having waited for over an hour to get another branch member to confirm to them not to charge me they were refusing. I felt the way i was treated that there was a form of racism especially from the centre manager. To resolve the issue I paid the unnessary £40.8 which was totally not justified. Bca do need to look at who they make managers as they are incompetent at what they do. luckily you guys don't run all the other bca sites as if you did it would be prone to fail!!!
I would give 0 stars if I could
I would give 0 stars if I could.
The amount of lazy and incompetent staff employed within customer services. Wow! Dreadful. They do not have a clue what’s going on! When they can’t sort out what needs to be done. “We don’t have access to the system at the moment”
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY SCAM SCAM SCAM
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY SCAM SCAM SCAM
Only giving 1 star as I can’t give 0
We took a 6 hour train from Newcastle to blackbushe BCA today to collect two cars I purchased ( first ever purchase) upon arrival all was good until they started to have attitude when I was asking about all the problems
They showed me two absolute BANGERS.
Car 1
supposed to have log book( DIDNT COME WITH ONE)
Supposed to have a working convertible roof( roof not working & boot wouldn’t open due to roof)
Wouldn’t have even looked at buying it if it was like this on the auction.
Around 20-28 tab burns in the car ( front seats)-this was not stated only 4 tab burns were stated.
Car 2
Well what can I say what a way to waste £1128.00
This one did have a log book which made up for the absolute shambles of a car.
Paint off all over
Bumper hanging off ( snapped ) they did offer a little money back for the bumper situation but not even close enough to what I would have expected.
Radio stated as working( NO RADIO AT ALL)
Along with another 20 problems
As you can tell I 100% will NOT BE USING BCA AGAIN!!!
Don’t waste your money
They state a good car but there absolute rot boxes

27th September 2022 bidded on a automatic car and paid automatic money for it at bca leeds branch and paid in full and when went to collect car it turns out to be a manual car, raised a complaint and was told at branch it was announced as manual at point of sale by auctioneer but it was not mentioned at any time during the sale and I asked for evidence of video or audio , they say we do not record and that was not the case when bca were in favor and provided video or audio evidence in the past .
I had even rang BCA liveonline spoke to Lewis and was confirmed there were no popups or change of catalogue either.
and when I told Bca leeds branch manager she said Bcaliveonline don't have any knowledge and she will speak to Lewis herself.
I had been asking for evidence of audio or video but they claim its not recorded and said they couldn't change description either or anything but since they had internally changed it post sale from auto to manual, luckily I got condition report from them which says its automatic.
now they just refusing a refund even though its mis described.
the car showed automatic all the time on their system till I raised complaint and bca leeds had internally written notes removed auto and written M which stand for manual according to customer service later after dispute. and when I rang or kept ringing they won't say or disclose information apart of will transfer you to leeds branch and leeds branch don't want to help.
leeds branch provides notes on their system that at point of sale car was mentioned as manual and appraisal was carried out on 23 th Sept 2022 as automatic. their notes can be amended anytime but video won't be amended. I spoke to Bcaliveonline and they confirmed on many occasions and even customer services that all sales are recorded
I had already challenged it and would likely go to court.
I would also suggest all the dealers had bad experience to contact me so I can put it together to court as all auctions are exempt at the moment from any legislation as no one are suing them .

Driven by profit only
Driven by profit only, BCA use 'we buy any car' to scoop cheap stock, keep the good ones to sell through another of their many arms 'Cynch' and sell the rubbish through an online auction which you can no longer see and hear running for yourself. The grading has no constant standard whatsoever and by 'rubbish' i mean cars with major issues that would not be identified with the 'smoke screen' static test that accompanies the auction lot. Not the BCA that used to be !
They are just robbers

Surely somebody should be regulating these crooks? They have the market cornered and are "seemingly" accountable to nobody. A bit like the Tories!

Please check the cap values for…
Please check the cap values for yourself that are being published on the BCA online catalogue before you bid, The suggested cap values on their website are mostly all wrong and misleading.
Absolute Scum!
Up until the restrictions BCA wasn't the worst, However now that they have closed all sites permanently (Due to covid apparently) BCA seen a great opportunity where they can sell absolute junk "sold as seen" (unseen) online with zero protection for their customers. They now use Photoshoped pictures and very vague descriptions to sell their cars, I actually bought a Vauxhall Insignia with a suspension fault, turned out the reason the suspension was sitting so high is because the engine was missing! There were some engine parts it the boot but obviously car was scrapped, 90% of the cars I've bought in last 2 years I know I would not have touched if I had been allowed to view them in person before bidding. If anyone's thinking of becoming a car trader and opening an account with BCA I would strongly advise another venture! You will not be a car dealer, if you dabble with BCA you will need to be a full on con man to turn any profit. BCA also CONSTANTLY re running cars as they have the auctioneers bidding up all the cars, You honestly don't stand a chance the way things are. Also note that BCA own WeBuyAnyCar and Cinch so anything with a turn in it they will happily sell for themselves and send all the junk to auction (Where they want retail prices!).
Untrustworthy- unreliable- simply lying…
Untrustworthy- unreliable- simply lying to the public and trade- listing non runners as running driving cars when you go and pick them up cars will not start or run, then you are told to move your car or they will charge you for storage. Gone are the old days when they actually cared about their customers.. new management does not give a damn..
I bought 1 van from BCA Manchester…
I bought 1 van from BCA Manchester major oil leak not mentioned as soon as I got on the motorway engine blows up narrowly missing a accident, 2nd car all green assured report but vehicle has a blown headgasket major overheating after 3 miles of driving, bought via their auctions online.
Contacted customer service on the phone all I received 'we can't do nothing car was bought as an unsecured.'
Please don't buy from them they might as well go around robbing banks with balaclava,s as that is how they sell there fit enough for the scrap yard cars.
A company only there to rip you off and…
