Too expensive now
The company has almost doubled the price for a van with kids seats compared to 6 months ago, and the vans can be quite outdated too for supposedly a premium service.

We have not increased our base journey fares; instead, we have absorbed part of the impact by reducing our company profit margin by 10%, with our drivers also taking the remaining 10% reduction. We are doing our best to manage these required changes by the government while keeping our pricing as fair as possible.
We have also reviewed your booking and can see that you selected an estate vehicle, which is part of our standard range. If you prefer a more premium experience, we recommend booking one of our executive vehicles for your future journeys.

The most reliable ground transport we have found to and from Heathrow
British Express Cars has been extremely reliable for getting us back and forth from Heathrow to central London. We have been using them for 5 years now, taking 1-3 trips a year, and they have been rock solid with pickup and drop off.
All of our drivers have been courteous and professional.
My wife and I have had the pleasure to have Joy as our driver several times, both as a couple and as solo travelers, and he is example for all drivers! He is often a bit early, helps with loading and unloading suitcases, drives smoothly and efficiently, and to top it all of is polite, professional, and friendly. We are happy when we see him waiting for us!
Communication is good, with emails setting up the pickup spot at Heathrow and providing us with the mobile number of our driver. When we have to call to change a pickup time or location, the representative is quick to make the change and a confirmation email is on the way in a few minutes.
They may be a bit more expensive than taking a cab or Uber if you are a solo traveler, but we have found Joy and all the other drivers professionalism to be worth the extra cost. After spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on the flight, having a secure ground connection is worth the premium.

Reliable and smooth service
Everything went smoothly, from the booking to the pickup at the airport. It’s a little on the expensive side, especially since my house is a short drive from the airport, but British Express Cars have been reliable every time I’ve used them.

Really great experience with helpful drivers and high quality baby car seats. Drivers were friendly and helped with bags especially in comparison with other companies I tried in the past. Will be a regular customer from now on. Totally recommend!

we had early morning pick up from hotel in overseas country that we were not familiar with. british express cars replied quickly to our request for confirmation days prior to our pick up. early notification that driver was on the way prior to pick up and driver waiting outside hotel 15 minutes prior to pick up time. no waiting, load up head to airport. driver courteous and car really clean and tidy. could not expect more.

I always book with British Express Cars when traveling with my family to Gatwick or Heathrow. They’re very dependable, great at communicating and always available by phone if I have questions or can’t locate my driver.
