Bought a kit to change the wiper motor…
Bought a kit to change the wiper motor and linkages for a Landrover. There was an issue with every component, most parts were manufactured so poorly that they didn’t fit without modification. Turned a relatively straightforward job into a nightmare. Never again.

HI. Waste of money !!!!
HI.. i have a set of your side steps and front mud-flaps for my L322 06 plate.
I bought from LR parts and getting dear john to bad you fitted them we cant take them back, the things are a poor fitment and the front flaps do not line up to the side steps. LR parts tell me they're fitted wrong, funny how a specialist body shop had trouble and then took them to a specialist range rover garage and they cant fit them either. out of pocket twice now on what was supposed to be a xmas pressie from the kids for me on a restoration project car here. really disappointed in LR parts and the Britpart product, never again !!!!

Sh*tpart
I thought that Britpart had grown out of their nickname “sh*tpart” but unfortunately today I found out that it still stands. They cannot even manufacture a small part within an easy tolerance. And when I contacted them about the issue all they tried to do was bat it off. Steer clear or at least buy with caution and expect it to be wrong or not last for any longevity.

CV Joints and half shaft junk
I purchased replacement CV joints and half shafts for my 1998 Land Rover Discovery in July 2019 from Rimmer Bros.and had them shipped here to the US. The parts were manufactured by Britpart.
Now I'm not a virgin when it comes to working on old cars, so I methodically disassembled the old parts and examined them versus the new Britparts. It became obvious that the new parts were not properly machined with the oil seal journals being way to big for the oil seal to fit. The half shafts were about 1/8 of an inch too long and the splines were not properly sized. I did a trial fit and in no way did the parts come close to a fit.The parts were substandard and were useless. Do not buy Britparts at any price. Additionally Rimmer bros. customer service was not interested that they had sold me useless parts and took no responsibility at all.
Thanks to everyone at Britpart, especially George!
Hi, we're not engineers or mechanics but living in rural France (Auvergne) we need to sort out things when they happen...
Our Freedeux developed a water leak which very quickly went to catastrophic resulting in our 3.2 i6 HSE becoming immobile. One friendly tractor-tow later and we set about the repairs.
A complete set of bottom hoses, thermostat and gaskets/washers and while we had access, an engine wiring loom. and service kit for the vacuum pump.
I contacted Britpart and went through the problems and George was brilliant. We went through the parts and he reassured me on the difference between some genuine and some pattern parts. He then shipped them out to us here in the middle of France.
They arrived on time and I would like to give everyone at Britpart a huge thank you for being there to help us. The nearest Land Rover dealer to us is the same as driving from Southampton to Birmingham...
Fantastic guys and genuinely helpful.
Emma
Poor Quality
After buying a viscous fan for my Range Rover the blades sheared off it within a few months of it being fitted which caused unrepairable damage to my NEW radiator.
I will NEVER buy Britpart again !
