Well what started as a "lets just drop by and have a look" ended in deal hand shake and coming away buying our dream Motorhome. Joe our sales advisor was absolutely brilliant, he got us a great deal, and was the most helpful young man from start to finish. When we came to pick our new motorhome up a lovely guy called Clive showed us around and explained how everything worked. I can't praise Brownhills enough I would 100% recommend buying from them. Oh and the homemade pie from the cafe was delicious 😋

Staff friendly and very helpful Joe was brilliant and very helpful to us newbie owners. The handover team of Terry and Steve answered all questions and it was not rushed. Couldn't fault them (and the van was immaculate)

Andrew Cantrell, my sales contact, was excellent throughout—professional, clear, and genuinely helpful. He made the buying process smooth and stress-free.
A special mention goes to technician Clive Rawlings, who gave an outstanding walkthrough of the motorhome. He explained every detail with patience and precision, making sure I understood how to operate all the systems confidently. His technical knowledge and clear communication were invaluable.
The handover by Steve Smith was the perfect final touch—thorough, well-paced, and reassuring. Steve made sure everything was in order and that I was fully comfortable before driving away.
Thanks to the entire Brownhills team for making this a truly positive experience. Highly recommended!

Incredible service. I called up around 2pm and spoke to Joanne. I urgently needing a specific part for the next day.. I wasn't too hopeful it would actually arrive on time, but it did!

Absolutely amazing service and I now know where I will go for all my parts and accessories!

John was fantastic from start to finish including aftersale and Clive did the most thorough handover ever. We are so delighted with our motorhone and just about to go out for a second holiday. We can't recommend them enough. Thankyou

Bought a brand new campervan and had issues from day 1. If only I'd know you have the right to reject within 30 days. Very slow to reply, had to be continually chased and corrected about issues. Some staff were rude and quite frankly not at all customer focussed. Months and months of misery and no offer to replace the vehicle and no offer to let us use another whilst it was in for repairs for weeks on end, all when we had great weather. Bought in July 2024 and complaint only now resolved 13 months later. Van was never slept in as the roof lining and metal bars fell off, parts coming off all over plus so many other issues. Compensation was only going to be offered once we had agreed to take the van back (which we never did) - this felt like blackmail although as the van was never fixed properly we took the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman and got our money back the long and painful way. This was one of the worst and most stressful experiences and ruined what was meant to be a lifestyle change. If only I had read some of the reviews before I went there.

We have been looking for a Motorhome for some time, conducted some research into what we felt would suit us best and visited a dealer closer to where we live. However, the service was at best, cynical and as this is our first foray into Motorhoming it was important to get it right.
Then we discovered Brownhills! what a difference. We saw a vehicle we liked the look of on the website, left a message on the ansaphone on Sunday morning, literally within the hour we had a call back from one of the Salespeople, Joe Brent. He talked through all options, offered us a viewing, again giving options to secure the vehicle until we could visit and then sent us a full video of the interior and exterior. We went to see it the following Wednesday and after another full inspection decided to purchase. We collected last weekend, and the service received from every person we have had dealings with from Terry giving us our induction to the staff in the shop (opening up after closing to supply us with electric hookup cable) with a £250 voucher to spend, to the staff serving free breakfast courtesy of a voucher provided for the onsite Cafe has been outstanding. But...........the star of the show was without doubt Joe Brent who has guided up through every detail of our purchase without any pressure and always with a smile. He has been FABALAS! Thank you to all at Brownhills we are delighted with our purchase.

Very well organised. Careful and diligent follow up to the relatively minor faults with a new van. However, rather rigid in dealing with last-minute niggles that arose. Overall, our experience was very good. (Just a shame they are a long way from home! But that was our choice.)

From first enquiries to the purchase of our motorhome. Our salesperson Joe Brent was a pleasure to deal with. He is very knowledgeable, informative, patient and really listened to our needs/wants. Joe did his best to get the deal we were seeking and made our purchase easy and straightforward.
All staff involved in the purchase and collection of our motorhome were knowledgeable and informative and made us feel valued.

We purchased our first motorhome from Brownhills last Saturday. Jordan was a very pleasant and helpful salesman, nothing was to much trouble and there was no pressure. He suggested we stay at Brownhills for a night or two to familiarise ourselves with the motorhome. We found all the staff very approachable and helpful particularly the technician who spent time with us Sunday morning as we struggled with the water heating and the Security Lady who opened the gates for us very early on Monday morning so could beat the traffic on the A1. I could go on but I guess you get the picture. We will definitely use Brownhills again!

Everything from enquiry to purchase was excellent however did feel that with the handover not being done with our original Salesperson was rather hurried
That being said Terry at handover and Steve when we were ready to drive off and I had already broke something was on hand to rescue the situation

We purchased a brand new Motorhome in September 2024 and have had nothing but issues with it since the beginning. Every issue you can imagine from not starting to water in lights etc, etc. Last Friday I sent a massive complaint email listing further issues and surprise surprise, it’s been a week and not even an acknowledgment!!!
Lost faith in Brownhills and the vehicle itself now. Will be seeking legal advice and going to the ombudsman as this company is a complete shambles

After receiving bad service from one of your internal valuers when I was considering an upgrade with my current motorhome and I went to another dealer.

But like I have mentioned Steven showed me that not all staff at Brownhills are the same and he alone demonstrated to me that you are good 👍

Excellent service from start to finish, kept us updated throughout the buying process. We are seasonal caravaners returning to Motor-homing and found the handover demonstration by Rick very helpful and not rushed, he made sure we were happy with the full operation of all equipment and was happy to answer our questions. Thank you all that was involved in our purchase of our new Motorhome.

From initial tentative enquiries based on our plan to change our VW transporter for something bigger, our experience with all members of staff has been exceptional. We had recommendations from friends who had also used this company in the past.
Our praise must go out to Jonathan Caudill in sales, Steve who showed us around our purchase and not forgetting the receptionist and prep team.

Prior to taking delivery of a new Rapido motorhome from Brownhills Motorhomes, Brownhills reported a couple of cosmetic issues that they could not repair prior to delivery, but would later address under warranty when parts arrived. They agreed to at pick-up and return the vehicle and pay fuel costs.

The sales representative, Liam Hall, was excellent: friendly, proactive, and knowledgeable. The handover by Clive Rawlings was also excellent. It was comprehensive and well presented; Clive was also happy to help with further support after the handover.

Update: this was originally a four-star review due to the excellent pre-sales service and handover, but has been downgraded to a three-star after receiving poor post handover support.

Further Update: I have now returned my motorhome to Brownhills to fix faults known about prior to delivery. Bit of a trauma getting the work done right, but ultimately Emma Foad (Service Supervisor) was tremendously helpful in getting a resolution and paid my fuel costs. I was also nicely compensated for the inconvenience by Sales

We spent months looking for our first motorhome. We visited the NEC in October and rented before purchasing.

Our first visit to Brownhills was very late in the day and yet Jonathan could not have been more gracious and helpful. We looked around the new models and pre-owned and found what we hoped to be the one. Jonathan was very fair and said we should think about it and go back the following day, luckily we were staying close by.

Suffice it to say, we decided on the Swift but still had to do some final parking measurements. Jonathan didn't push for a deposit or to try and close the sale there and then but gave great advice. The far most important part though is the warranty offered which meant we don't have to travel for two hours to get something fixed, perfect!

We signed up and on the day of collection met Steve. Steve was highly knowledgeable and made what look like complicated controls look easy. He even went over the operation of the van itself from a driving point. Steve made sure that we saw everything working.

We stayed overnight as recommended by Jonathan and in the morning, Steve came to visit at 9am as arranged. We had a couple of clarification questions and noted an issue that needed a quick fix. Within a few minutes, an engineer arrived to fix the issue we found and that was it! All done and dusted

What a great experience and I can't see us buying from anywhere else in the future and highly recommend that everyone does the same thing.

We had a great experience at Brownhills. It may not be right for all but was for us we spent a long time at brownhills looking on two separate occasions. The freedom to go in any van on your own was really good. Once in the main showroom the sales team did enough to let you know they were there without any pressure. Having found the camper van we wanted we sat down with Jonathan and went through everything he was really good in making shore we didn’t unnecessarily spend money on extras we didn’t need. Once ordered we were kept informed right through the process. Once we had the van Jonathan made it clear he was our first point of call if we had any problems and has been true to his word with the few small things we have had and give almost instant response to any email or phone calls. The Brownhills team whilst very busy have still been very helpful and friendly at all times. I’ve waited a while to write this review to get a true sense of Brownhills and can’t speak highly enough. Even the security staff on the gate yesterday was so helpful in helping find some where to park the van. Finally after having had the van for over two months Jonathan still has the same approach and helpfulness to us as he did when selling us the van which is not my experience sadly with many sales people.
