Dishonest Company
Vehicle had over heating issues!
I was ripped off by hundreds of dollars by this Company - Car care and exhaust which is located in Browns Plains.
I paid $809.95 just to have a thermostat changed.
Was originally quoted $1041
Cooling system flush $189, receptionist stated thermostat part was included (part not included)
Thermostat part $92.95
Water pump $237
4 hours Labour $528 ($132 per/hr)
No Mention of Timing belt kit!
I agreed to have job completed but
during the 4 hr labour process the mechanic only realised then I needed a new timing belt kit another $385. The last timing belt and kit replaced in 2019 car has since driven 25000-30000kms. I refused for them to finish the job due to not being upfront and honest with me in the first place. Have since taking the car to a trustworthy company only to be told the engine is faulty and car is not worth repairing due to age and cost to repair. Very unhappy customer, will never be back to this dishonest Company.
