The team replaced a malfunctioning lock…

The team replaced a malfunctioning lock on my Range Rover Evoque, and the new one functions perfectly. Unfortunately, they mishandled the door card reinstallation, preventing the window from opening. Since it was a warm day with the air conditioning running, I didn't realize it at first because the windows were up. Clearly, they skipped the testing step. I won't return, as my trust in them is lost.

Fixed one problem. Caused another,

They changed a faulty lock on my Range Rover Evoque, The new lock works fine. But the window won't open because they bodged refitting the door card. I didn't notice as it was a hot day and the A/C was on, so windows were closed. Obviously they didn't bother testing it. Not taking it back. Wouldn't trust them again.

My vehicle broke down

Towed my vehicle that wouldn’t start, the car was there for a few days they didn’t call me. I had to call for them to get back to me with an update.
They started work on the vehicle without letting me know.then told me it cost £340 Then I was asked if I want to continue diagnostics for other issues it will cost in total £580 not including parts and labour. So £580 just diagnosing the issue. He stated they charge £91per hour to look at your car, too overpriced!
My car did t have a turbo issue before it broke down so magically it had a turbo issue. Took my car to another garage and they left parts unscrewed. Unbelievable!
Gave 2* at least they got my car started

BMW Z4 E85 Service/MOT - Full Marks

I brought my BMW Z4 E85 to them in November 2020 for a service, new rear pads and discs, brake fluid renewal and MOT. Excellent job frankly. It’s the first time since new -it’s a 2005 model - that it hasn’t been serviced by a main BMW dealer. Pricing was fair and I chose original BMW parts. Advice was well informed. Seven months on, I’m very pleased to have found them and will be using Brunswick for my main service and MOT due this coming November. Great business. Highly recommend.

Took my car in for a water leak

Took my car in for a water leak, and was told it was a damaged water pump. While the work was done quickly but the cost was over £512, with £240 just for labour and £146.95 for a water pump. I checked the price of a replacement part and found one for under £100.

Seem to me they overcharge

Highly recommended for VAG cars

I live in Pascoe Vale and I serviced my Volkswagen Polo GTI here couple of times. My experience having to deal with Darryl is that he is a Great Mechanic who provides great service. Darryl is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Overall they are a reasonably priced repair shop for the quality of the service that you receive. I will be returning.

Warning - Stay away

Bought my car in for a service. The waiting area was nice and clean,, with refreshments available. However - when I put the car in to reverse to leave I noticed there was something wrong. There is now an issue with gear changes to D and to R. Its like someone drove my car but wasn't sure how to change the gears, so forced them in to place instead of pressing the button on the gear stick. Something is out of place in the gear stick area. The garage offered to look at it me for a charge. If I'm going to pay someone to look at it, it would be someone who knows how to drive the car. I also noticed when I got home there was a cover on my drive. I looked it up - it was the oil sump cover. Told the garage about it as it was clearly as a reult of their bad work - they said these things happen, come back in and we'll put it back on. No thanks!!! PLEASE AVOID!!!

Please do not bring your car here

Please do not bring your car here! Took my car in for a service today and they damaged it, tried to cover the damage with some paint, and then wouldn’t accept liability! So I am taking them into court. Awful customer service on top of it all. So disappointing.

I had taken my car in for an MOT and it …

I had taken my car in for an MOT and it had failed on a seatbelt. I was told the car was not roadworthy by a mechanic and he quoted me £200 for 2 hours work, not including price of part. I said I could not afford it. I spoke to a manager who said that was the quote and neither of them told me I did not have to have it repaired there and I could pick it up. I rang back when I found this out and they refused to apologise and said it was 'common knowledge' a car could be picked up. Other local garages charge lower rates and only on work done.

A North London garage that you can trust and cares about its customer

In 2013 we bought a BMW x3 ... very pleased with the car but dreading dealing with BMW and their extortionist service prices. We were also generally worried about establishing a relationship with a new garage ... the TRUST issue.

Soon after buying the car a few problems turned up that were not picked up by our BMW (and expensive) car investigative report.

After calling BMW it was clear that using them would cost us a small fortune in any outcome.

Luckily a local internet search for BMW specialists yielded Brunswick garage.

Right from the start have been a joy to deal with : they seem to be on your side rather than to get you. They were very fair when dealing with the small oil leak.

Next service. Prices are structured and correct. Again, not out to get you. If the car is fine , they will not replace parts.

I needed some help with a few extra parts that I ordered, Andy at reception, came and helped me out, on his own back and would take nothing for it.

I feel that these boys operate with a clear conscience, (exactly how I have acted in my professional career), so don't have to worry about anything bad catching up with them.

These guys are customer orientated. In waiting room you even have decent coffee, cold drinks, cake, crisps and access to the internet.

I recommend Brunswick Garage to anyone who needs a BMW specialist in Southgate, Friern Barnet, Finchley, Bounds Green area (oh they also do VW, Audi and Seat).
