Hi I just wanted to say thankyou to the budget direct team. I was traveling from Wollongong to Sydney for a course when suddenly my car clunked out and wouldn’t move on a busy Sydney street. I was so stressed and overwhelmed the way the car clunked out and wouldn’t move I honestly thought the car was done for. The team so was patient with me and guided me through I was thinking the absolute worst. Turns out it was a cv joint & engine mount which was under warranty. So I got a great out come in an annoying situation. The tow truck driver even picked up the keys from my course. Such a good experience thanks budget direct team.

Absolute nightmare. I survived a horrific accident where my premium Audi Q5 was completely written off. On top of that, it was a NOT-AT-FAULT accident. According to the policy, I am fully entitled to a rental car until this issue is resolved. Yet, Budget Direct pretends to be completely ignorant about this clause while bringing up other irrelevant policies to talk absolute garbage. Instead of honoring their own contract, they have been harassing me, taking turns calling to insist that an Audi Q5 is in the same class as an MG3. They are trying every cheap, disgusting tactic to avoid paying a proper settlement and scam me out of my rights. Avoid this incompetent company at all costs unless you want a mental breakdown after a major crash

Good experience with Budget direct. Car got damaged by a natural event and they took me through the process and supported me throughout the claims process.

The money I saved is amazing.
My previous insurer charged me over $4,000 per year for house and contents, Budget is only a quarter of that.
The Car insurance was a few hundred cheaper.
I am very happy with the service I received.

I got insurance on my bike, but they didn't ask for photos or the odometer mileage , so I'm wondering how good the insurance will be if I ever need to make a claim. Other then that it was easy and the customer service person I spoke to was great

Minor damage from storm. $4000 area. First claim in 50 years. Slow to inspect damage. Slow to affect repairs (but good job) Dunno if slow is correct re payment cos the damage was affected just after Christmas and in July I am still waiting for their payment which they promised on my last 2 calls.

The man I spoke to was very helpful. The price was about half of what I am currently paying. Customer service was spot on.

​I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with Budget Direct Pet Insurance. My dog had an infection that was treated and resolved before we joined. A few months later, my dog developed the infection again. Budget Direct completely rejected the claim.
​When you read their fine print, you realize a massive catch: if your pet gets a common, curable illness, they will slap a "pre-existing" or "recurring" label on it and refuse to pay a single cent.
​It feels like this insurance is designed to only cover things that happen exactly once in a pet's lifetime. If your dog is prone to simple, recurring issues like ear or eye infections, expect to pay 100% out of pocket despite paying your monthly premiums. I will be looking for a new provider that actually understands how basic pet health works. Unreliable and absolutely not worth the money.

Never ever use budget direct! They took three weeks and 10+ phone calls to sort out a no fault claim for $2200! I was hung on multiple times for telling them they have bad customer service and treated like an idiot when I was in the right the whole time. Absolutely disgusting service!

Worst insurance company I have ever been with ! My experience was they lied and did anything to get out of paying any legit claims . I wasted my money going with Budget Direct , There are better , honest and fairer insurance companies to go with! Please read the fine print , as i found it misleading , Ambiguous and with Conflicting statements . After my experience it was clear , This is a greedy company only after Taking $$$ from their customers and not honoring the insurance claim ! Why would any one want to support such a corrupt company ? !!

Finally i can’t make the claim the reason that they said I misrepresented at the begining due to I applied my vehicle to Uber later on….

I am just not satisfied the result but I learn how to choose and get advise from the begining
