I was so pleased with the way our loan was handled. From start to finish the two people who dealt with it were professional, informative and knowledgeable. But what made this such a good experience for me was that they both went the extra mile to make sure that things ran smoothly. They always returned calls and made helpful suggestions, nothing was too much trouble. Exceptional service, thank you both.

Great service by Buildloan, its a really useful way to get a mortgage on a property conventional mortgages wont touch. Great communication and easy customer portal, I dealt mostly with Tommy Walker who was great but everyone else I spoke with seemed very helpful.

Our self build would simply not have even started without the fantastic services of the BuildStore Team. From our initial meeting with Tom Sherry at the NSBRC, who put everything in a very considered and straightforward approach, which gave us huge confidence that 'we could actually do this'... to then moving onto Shaun Smith who gave an equally personal approach, breaking down the process into friendly,  non-jagoned details on what we should do and when we need to do it . I can highly recommend this team to anyone looking for self build finance advice and planning

I would recommend visiting the NSBRC in Swindon where we attended a very informative talk by Tom Sherry and they also offer a membership to the NSBRC with a discount off of the mortgage fees.

Very happy about the level of support provided. Meanwhile, we have a formal mortgage offer. Our situation, being here on a visa, and wanting to do a true self build in Scotland is not the most common case, and Buildstore managed this brilliantly, with confidence and patience.

A First-Class Mortgage Broker. We have been on a self-build journey for 2 and half years and SHAUN SMITH has provided excellent advice and service throughout. We needed to release equity to buy our plot, then a self-build mortgage for the build and finally re-mortgaging to a conventional residential mortgage when the house was completed.
