Avoid at all costs!!
I cannot begin to describe how awful this account is.

We first approached Bully Davey to represent us as a new company in June 2020 where they set us up as a partnership, after only three months they decided we needed to be an Ltd, this of course caused huge complications when our first VAT return was due, when we questioned this we were told “we didn’t expect you to grow so quickly”

We had to hire a separate accounts administrator as Bulley Davey basically wanted everything doing for them and just presenting finished accounts to submit . We didn’t hear from them from one month to another and then when our accounts administrator had to contact them it would take days to get a very uncertain reply with often “ill have to check with an account”

Our first VAT return wasn’t compiled and submitted until the very last moment even though we had provided all the info in good time. Meaning we never got to view before submitting and numerous items were missed

We then received an invoice for a reasonable amount from the account for what we could work out very little work. As it only stated the amount due and no breakdown we requested an iteamised bill. A month later the same invoice arrived in the post again. We again contacted Bully Davey but were met with rudeness from the accountant questioning why we needed an iteamised bill and how we wanted it broken down. We assume he had plucked an amount out of the air and was so cross as he had no clue on what had or hadn’t been done.To our astonishment we received the email below

Thankyou -now I know how you want it broken down – that was not too difficult was it?

This will take some time to list it all but I will go through the time card. In future I will bill you monthly as I do a big task of itemising a bill this way every time. If I did then half of my time would be spent telling clients what I did with the other half of my time.

I am sure that when you sell your product you don’t tell your customers exactly what you did minute by minute when making them!!!!

This was the the final straw so we appointment another account whom approached Bulley Davey for all our relevant documentation. So far a month later and numerous emails sent we are still waiting a reply.

Oh and one last thing. They also never bothered/forgot to run last month’s Payroll for us.

If you are considering this company as your accountant we strongly advise you think again!

Just like another liquidator. They come after you till you sign the contract and after that they won't even bother meeting you and will tell you call them on phone. They will never tell you they charge you £220+VAT per hr. The mystery will be revealed with final invoice. They rip creditors and you by increasing their cost and passing less money to creditors. Stay away or be very very alert.
