Service was quick but the food was only just acceptably warm when it arrived and soon became too cold to be enjoyable.

Drinks not fizzy. Disrespectful staff.

We got our Burger King meal, Hopwood Services. went back to the car. Both our drinks were warm and flat. Horrible. Returned to BK. Person serving said the machine for carbonating drinks and putting ice in had been broken for 3 days!!! He said no one else had complained!!! Tried to get a refund for the drinks but that didn't work as we had a meal deal. He gave us a bottle of water. Complained twice to BK, they have never responded. That was a month ago. Won't go to BK again. They should tell customers the fizzy drinks machine is not working so people can get water, tea or juice.

DISGUSTING....…

Ordered 2 adult meals and a kids meal as my son and I were staying at my friend's for a catch up, on arrival of our meal was utterly disgusted with what had arrived, kids meal was cold and no toy, our meal I wouldn't have given it to my dog, onion rings were over cooked, chips very cold, bacon cost an extra £1 and it wasn't even cooked properly, will never order from them again, £31.pound for it going in the bin, so if you are reading this, take notice, keep your money and avoid.

Ordered online

Ordered online, waited 2 hours, the delivery driver blatantly ate our food, and then Buggerking cancelled our order entirely. Never doing that again. In fact I will never eat from there ever. It sickens me that I have to give them 1 star. For what?

Burgerkings non existent customer service??

Burgerkings customer service??? There is none!! Your guided to a webpage of theirs where you leave your details and so on and that's it, no one gets back to you and you can't speak to anyone. So if you have a problem with a meal or your app or basically anything to do with burgerking your screwed as you will get nowhere.

Absolutely shocking.

Absolutely shocking.

I'm in a wheelchair and went to the recently refurbished Burger King in Thame, Oxon.

Went through the drive-thru and there is a sign on the order plate " Sorry, we can't sell any beef products as the machine is broken" Lord knows what machine, I suppose whatever retard wrote it means the grill.

So I ask can they do me a vege burger? "Yes" the young guy said, but you can't order it here, "you have to order it in the diner".

A pain, as being in a wheelchair that makes it more of an issue but we drive round, go in the diner and the same guy from the drive thru walks through and serves us - why couldn't he have served us through the drive thru?

We ask can we have cheese on them? "No" the guy says!
We order two vege burgers and large fries, no cheese -£17.

Get home, get some cheese of our own to put in them, open the buns and the lettuce is brown and soggy! I'm getting really annoyed now, I scrape the lettuce out, put our lettuce and cheese in and take a bite.

It is ******ing chicken! We both spat it out and binned the whole meal.A horrible rubber shoe sole type thing of reconstituted, compressed chicken. Suppose one of us had a chicken allergy or intolerance? !

A complete waste of £17! and no dinner.

It is disgusting - someone at head office needs to get their act together.

They won't even look at this review let alone reply to it - they need to go bust in my opinion.

After waiting 20 minutes for my order I…

After waiting 30 minutes for my order I went to the till to ask if there was a delay. There was no one on the till and I had to wait about another 5 minutes.

When I was asked what was wrong I asked if there was a delay to be met with yes we are really busy what's your order number. As the printer was not working on the machine I wasn't sure. She abruptly said well we can't go back and check the machine you need to tell me what you ordered. I told her, she checked and said my order was next.

I went back to my table and waited another 10 minutes. When the food arrived it was cold and there was no dip, that we had paid for.

My daughter and her friend went to the till to be ignored for an additional five minutes. The server was giving someone else their food and my daughter said excuse me, for the server to say what, my daughter asked for some of the garlic and herb dip, the server said it's 70p. My daughter said we have already paid but it didn't come with the meal. The server then picked up a tub of the sauce and threw it at them.

The attitude on both of these servers is disgusting. I understand they are busy but if they don't like their job they should look for a new one.

I don't usually leave a bad review but this just took the piss. I could understand if the place was busy but it wasn't.

Note for management, employ more staff and give them customer service training.

Safe to say I will not be going back.

No staff !

No staff !! Food coming out at 1 order every 2 -3 minute. 16 orders queued. 48 minute wait so long a the delivery and uber eats drivers don’t trump the in store customers. , 20 - 25 people waitin. 3 staff preparing/serving. I suppose they now subscribe to the. “Our widgets are no worse than any of our competitors” business model. I dread to think what we will eventually receive. Never again!!

Arrived at the new Broughty Ferry…

Arrived at the new Broughty Ferry Burger King at 19:40 in the Drive through. Spent Approx 15 mins waiting and once I got to the speaker no one responded. I drove to the window to be told by a very rude manager that he could not take orders at the window. I parked and went inside then waited another 20 minutes looking at dirty tables piled with empty bags, cups etc. The floor was also very dirty with cups, napkins, straws, lids etc. The whole place was disgusting and a very unpleasant experience…

Dundee burger king

ear Mr Murdoch,
I am writing to formally complain about the extremely disappointing experience my wife and I had at the opening of the new Burger King at Tom Johnston Retail Park, Dundee, on 24 July 2026.
We attended because Burger King was promoting free Whoppers for the opening. We expected there to be a queue, so we joined the drive-through and waited for approximately 25–30 minutes. At around 6:30 pm, after finally reaching the ordering point, we were told that there were no free Whoppers left.
What made the situation particularly frustrating was that there had been no attempt to inform customers waiting in the queue that the promotion had ended. A member of staff positioned at the entrance to the queue could have saved dozens of customers from wasting their time. Instead, customers were left to queue for half an hour only to be turned away.
I then drove to the collection window, understandably unhappy. The duty manager approached my vehicle with a grin on her face. Considering how disappointed and frustrated my wife and I were, I found this reaction completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
The manager explained that the promotion was limited to 1,000 free Whoppers. I asked where this limit had been advertised and why customers were not being informed before joining the queue. She walked away, apparently to find information relating to the promotion. However, when she returned, she was laughing. Whether she intended it or not, her behaviour gave the impression that she found the situation amusing, which only added to my frustration.
I then asked for her name. To my astonishment, she attempted to cover her name badge with her hand. Fortunately, I had already seen that her name was Vicky. I find it unacceptable that a manager would deliberately try to hide her identity when Burger King requires managers to wear name badges for accountability and customer service purposes.
A second lady then approached my vehicle. She did not initially introduce herself, so I asked whether she was the manager or owner. She identified herself as the Regional Manager and gave her name as Hazel. While she apologised for the situation, she made no meaningful attempt to resolve it, instead suggesting that I simply purchase food. Given the circumstances and the poor treatment we had already received, I declined.
I also noticed a mobile freezer unit being connected to the restaurant's electrical supply during our visit. This led me to question whether there were refrigeration issues at the restaurant on its opening day. If that was the case, it raises additional concerns about the preparedness of the restaurant for such a high-profile opening.
This was an opening night that should have showcased Burger King at its best. Instead, it was a complete disappointment. The lack of organisation, failure to communicate with waiting customers, and, most importantly, the conduct of the duty manager left a very poor impression of your company.
