best steak ever ! Sooo good, grilled up beautifully , tender, rich flavor. My guests enjoyed with gusto .
I defrosted the meat in the fridge, dried them off and rubbed with salted butter, and grilled to taste .... Voila

In the interest of transparency I live near the actual cattle farm and followed their progress over the last year in getting their butcher store set up. During that time I would occasionally stop buy and ask if they were selling any steaks and again, on occasion I was able to purchase some steaks (tenderloins and strip) and I found them to be about the best steaks I have ever grilled. Having signed up to be notified when they went online I was notified and was really amazed when I went to their site. There are a lot of companies that sell various steaks on line but no one shows you the pictures of the actual steak you are ordering. The web site is great because what you see are the actual steaks that were cut that day and are ready for shipping. I ordered the usual steaks (tenderloins and bone in rib eyes) but they also have flanken ribs which are like short ribs and are used to make Korean ribs which I love. When my orders arrived I immediately cooked a tenderloin and there was no disappointment as it really was the best tasting tenderloin I have ever had, bar none. I cooked a rib eye for a friend and after he took the first bite he was in steak heaven. Butcher’s Twine is pretty new but it is not only an unusual experience in cruising their web site but unlike most of the other steak deliveries, what you don’t get is a “portion controlled” piece of mediocre meat.
