I've been using the Byclick downloader for five years and have always been very satisfied with it. I especially appreciate the ability to choose the file format and quality, and the option to download entire channels or playlists. The development team has also always responded very quickly to changes on YouTube.

Only in the last few months have there been some issues that haven't been resolved promptly. The purchase price has long since paid for itself.

I hope the current problems can be resolved quickly, as I've always been an enthusiastic user and would hate to give up this fantastic tool.

Besonders gefällt mir, dass man das Dateiformat und die Qualität auswählen kann und man die Möglichkeit hat, ganze Kanäle oder Playlisten herunterzuladen. Auch hat das Programmiererteam immer sehr schnell auf Änderungen bei Youtube reagiert.
Erst in den letzten Monaten kam es zu Problemen, die nicht zeitnah behoben wurden. Der Kaufpreis hat sich längst mehr als amortisiert.

Ich hoffe, dass die aktuellen Probleme schnell gelöst werden können, denn ich war immer ein begeisterter Nutzer und möchte ungerne auf dieses fantastische tool verzichten.

The last time I was looking for a way to download video from YouTube, I got into awful stuff. Browser extensions that break, complicated apps, and free services covered in ads and spam. Then, I tried ByClick and stuck with it.

ByClick shines on cover efficiency and simplicity. The interface is clean, intuitive, and gets straight to the point. There’s zero learning curve.

The feature I've been using a lot is auto-detect, which identifies media on the sites you are navigating and pops up a message asking if you want to download the video or audio from that page. One click and the download is done, including entire playlists.

For now, I have no complaints. It looks like a solid solution and worked very well with all my demands.

I bought the "lifetime" membership about 3 years ago...and this site worked really great for about 6 months, and then about every month (or every other month) after that, it would always quit working for some reason or another. the last six months of owning it has been horrible..everything from uploading videos with no sound, to videos not uploading at all. the NEW problem is, it will ONLY upload a video for 5 seconds, and then shut off!!! This has been going on for over a week now. I now had to purchase an uploader from a different company, so that I can continue my work....

Still waiting on a reply from my email where I asked to get my money back (as they promote a 30-day money back guarantee). Been ignored for the last 11 days even though they advertise that they answer within 24 hours and usually much less.
Software constantly crashes and is a time waster.

Very bad converter, MP4's not playing anywhere

Been using this software successfully for 2 or 3 years. It worked so well, I finally paid for the "lifetime" subscription.

It has now stopped working!!!

Emails go unanswered. I hope they are working on this new problem. Online conversion with "ytdown dot io" appears to work.

I used to use RealPlayer but had to download each video individually. I discovered Byclick and had been burning up Youtube for over 6 years around the clock. It way awesome, just press one click and download a whole channels. There would be some problems around updates abut work itself out in a few days. A few days ago it stopped working and will not redownload. Think they finally went belly up.

I've been a Byclick user for over 6yrs, and their service has been steadily reliable as they constantly update the coding to help clients bypass each new roadblock. While AI makes this process even more challenging as time goes on, I commend the Byclick Team for always successfully solving each new bypass puzzle so that clients can keep pursuing their creative interests and projects. I’ve had this software for a year. Everytime they do an “update” there’s a problem usually downloading from YouTube, I get a reconnecting error and the download gets stuck. In past when I contacted them they were good about responding with a fix. This time I’ve sent them several emails and have yet to have heard back. When it works it great but something has changed with this company. Would not recommend!

I bought it based on a bunch of five-star reviews telling me how great it was. BUT their app simply does NOT work. And then they ask you for a product review. And if you select anything LESS than five stars, you immediately get an error msg that says "oops!" and you have to start all over again!

I downloaded one day and the video downloaded perfectly, but the next day it keeps saying my one day trial is up and I need to buy premium. Looking at the perks, it seems like I could still download video, right? Wrong. I still need to pay. No matter what I do I have to pay to use this garbage. And it doesn't seem worth it either to pay for the ENTIRE POINT OF ME BUYING THIS, FOR SOMETHING THAT CAN STILL LET ME DOWNLOAD VIDEOS FOR FREE AND ONLY GIVE ME OPTION TO BUY PREMIUM IF I WANT PERKS, BUT INSTEAD I HAVE TO PAY TO GIVE THIS GARBAGE A USE AT ALL. DO NOT DOWNLOAD! I REPEAT, DO. NOT. DOWLOAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had an unlimited license with this company for a couple of years with no problems. I recently bought a new computer and removed the program from the old and tried to activate my product key on the new computer and it is not working. I've contacted them three times and nobody has responded. I would avoid them now. Perhaps they've changed hands and are no longer competent or trustworthy.

Paid lifetime license, the software does not work anymore. Support not replying to emails.
SCAM

It used to be a great program for downloading... Unfortunately, after version 2.4.20, it went obsolete. It won't download from YT anymore. Their support responded and claimed they work a sollution, but after two updates, the problem insists. Too bad, it was a great app

i try multiple times to get my refund, this company refuses to reply back and just keeps your money.
the software works very few times and has multiple issues. crashes, reconnecting issues, often downloads the files then removes it from your system.
please don't try this software there is better alternatives out there.

just doesn't work,
it will add the video but just takes forever to do nothing.
when you close it, it says video still downloading but doesn't show any progress after several minutes

Paid, but not working for almost 2 days. No one responds to problem reports. I don't recommend!

I have a subscription and have been using the downloader with no problems. Now it's telling me Download Failed when I try to use it, and I have no idea what's going on. Can someone please tell me who i need to contact to dissolve this issue.

I forgot when I installed the app, and when I want to test it, it upgraded and told me it is out of date of preview.
When I want to uninstall it , it failed.
Just because I usgrade it?
