Unprofessional Support and Serious Technical Issues
strongly advise caution before using Cabanova for any serious website or online store project.
I spent two weeks working 15 hours a day on my website, only to encounter multiple technical and platform-related problems that negatively affected my work and SEO.
Here is my experience with their "PRO" service:
• Forced Redirect Issues: A redirect to my external Payhip store appeared in the page source code and affected my main domain behavior, despite the fact that I did not have direct DNS or full HTML control.
• Feature Restrictions After Trial Period: After approximately 14 days, important functionality became limited, including menu/button behavior and AI assistant access, making the website difficult to maintain without upgrading to a more expensive plan.
• Platform Limitations: The “global pages” system caused elements added to one page to appear on multiple pages, creating major editing and layout problems.
• Lack of Technical Control: Users do not receive proper DNS or full source-code access, making it difficult to independently troubleshoot or fix issues.
• Unprofessional Support Experience: After opening a payment dispute that was resolved in my favor, I received support emails containing remarks such as “ING bank seems really dumb” and “#staypoor,” which I consider inappropriate and unprofessional communication toward a customer.
Because of these issues, I ultimately moved my entire project to another provider where I now have proper DNS control and a stable setup.
