I am doing a project at home to install a CAT 5 network in my new house and after doing googling decided to use Cable Monkey for my supplies.
They had everything I needed with an easy to navigate website with really good prices.
I put my shoping list together and then proceeded with my order, as is always the case I noticed about 5 seconds after clicking the pay button that one of the items I ordered wasn't correct ( 100% my fault for not reading details). So I gave the guys at Cablemonkey a call to ask if I could have this item removed.
They were so helpfull and to have this item removed I just needed to reply to my order email and request this, within about 5 minutes this item was removed from my order and the refund began to process.
The equipment arrived the next working day as promised (and for free) and after inspecting the equipment I was amazed at the quality of it all, given the prices I was expecting some sub standard kit (fine for a home project) but I would happily use this for enterprise work.
11/10 experience for me.
ABSOLUTELY appalling delivery service. Paid for next day delivery and 6 days later I am still waiting. Feel like a mug as I've found the same product on Amazon 20% cheaper and with free next day delivery.
Terrible delivery use a hit and miss delivery company, also their customer service stinks,rude and bordering on offensive,do not use if any other way.

Purchased a 30m cat6 cable early on the 22nd with (expensive) next day delivery.
Today (26th) I decided to contact cable monkey to question where my
Item was and to remind them I had paid for next day delivery, this was their reply..
“ due to the current circumstances and cannot guarantee any next day deliveries as displayed on our website”
...Okay but you’re more than happy to take my money for a service that you openly admit you can not provide. Maybe consider removing the option of next day delivery? It’s not rocket science.

I've placed an order with Cable Monkey last week, the delivery came two days late. Upon calling their customer support informed me that they have made a mistake placing my order as shipped when some items were out stock. When the order finally arrived I've realised that I've ordered the wrong switch and called to arrange a return, to my surprise I was informed that because it was my mistake I had to cover with the postal expenses to send it back in my case this represents almost the value of the switch itself. Even if I wanted to replace it for another model I would still have to pay to return the one I don't need. Never buying again from Cable Monkey, there are cheaper more reliable and customer focus suppliers out there.

Ordered a couple of times from Cablemonkey now, and had a postivie experience in both instances. Having used Connectix at work (an ISP) it's good to have a brand that I know and trust. Items are good quality, as described, good price, and dispatched/delivered quickly.

Not good. I don't know what they think they are doing. The order was "lost in the post", but as someone who worked for the Royal Mail for 12 years, I know that this probably means "not dispatched". In my correspondence with them it was clear that they didn't consider my "little order" much of a priority.

Pretty poor. Ordered 15m of External Cat6 RJ45 Patch Lead. literally only received one 20mm light socket screw. I did arrive on time, and had I ordered that, I would have over the moon I suspect. I emailed and complained. Got an apology and got the cable shortly after.
If they cant get my first and only order correct, then why use monkeys again?
I wont - I'll go to an online retailer that doesn't cock things up.

Absolutely awful experience. Sent me a completely different item to what was shown online. Also when requesting a refund I was waiting almost a week for instructions from a colleague. My total payment for my order was £11.88 and I received a total of £4.74 back. From the day I return my item to the day I received my refund it took 18 days. Really awful customer service and lack of communication, would NOT recommend!
My experience was very good. I only needed a few bits and ordered them and it was very cheap. I only needed these temporarily so wasn't after extremely high quality cables, but the cable was very decent for the price. Delivery lead time was economy 5-7 days but it came within 2 days.
