Very poor ski hire experience

We have now been in a queue waiting to get hire skis and boots for one hour and forty minutes with another twenty minutes to go before we are ready to go out - that will be two hours in total. Problem has been only three technicians fitting skis out of 5 PCs available. A fourth tech technician has just been added from boot hire to skis but still too slow. A very poor start to the day. I won’t come back in the future, will hire kit somewhere else

Warning about this company and gift vouchers …

Be careful of this company they just take your money and won’t do any refunds! I suggest nobody buys vouchers unless they are 100% sure they can use them 😡 I reported 5 days after receiving a voucher off my daughter that we live 6 hours away, do not ski or snowboard, We received the voucher after our trip to the Cairngorms yet the thieves want to keep our £100! Shocking customer service

I’m really disappointed with Cairngorm…

I’m really disappointed with Cairngorm Mountain’s customer service.

I purchased a lift pass for Friday, but the access roads were closed due to heavy snow, meaning it was physically impossible to reach the mountain. This was completely out of my control. I contacted them as soon as possible to explain the situation and request a refund, but they refused.

I understand refund policies exist, but refusing any flexibility when customers are prevented from attending due to official road closures feels unreasonable and unfair. The mountain was inaccessible — this wasn’t a change of plans or a no-show by choice.

For a business so dependent on weather conditions, I would expect a more customer-focused and understanding approach. This experience has definitely put me off booking in advance again, and I’d advise others to think twice before doing so.
