Zero stars…!!!

If I could give this company zero stars then I would. We are in the UK and ordered a water heater which was installed by a qualified gas engineer. After installation it was tested and shown to be faulty. Over the course of 6 weeks I exchanged 37 emails with their (ironically named) "customer service" in an attempt to return it and get a refund. I went round and round in circles as whoever was responding failed to read previous correspondence. Eventually I contacted my credit card company, submitting the correspondence and the report on the heater to them, and with 24 hours I had secured a full refund. I would advise never buying from a company that doesn't have a phone number on their website, always use a credit card, and never buy from Camplux!!!

A happy conclusion

Despite a slightly Rocky start. Camplux did the right thing and replaced a faulty water heater. I found them to be responsive and polite. I would use this company again.

I ordered a boiler for next day…

I ordered a boiler for next day delivery from Amazon and they changed the delivery to two weeks. No refund offered. I'm now in freezing cold temps with no hot water for over two weeks. Atrocious service. Stay away.

Appalling service

Appalling service. They take months to respond to any correspondence and refused to pay a full refund for a product that was returned in perfect unused condition. They claimed the cardboard box was damaged , which must have occurred in transit, as I only opened the box to photograph AND video the product before sending it to them at their request. And only then after videoing it would they issue me the return address. And it is evident from the photos & video I sent that the shower unit and packaging were in perfect condition. Still they refuse. And their communication is poor. A very low grade business. With poor customer service. I recommend that you avoid purchasing anything from them. Because if you can’t return an unused product, imagine the service you would get if you received a faulty product. A cardboard box costs very little. . Their claim that they would not be able to resell the product due to the cardboard being damaged is a lame excuse. Avoid avoid avoid using this company.

Do NOT order from this company

Do NOT order from this company. I cancelled the order and received acknowledgment of this. They still then sent the order anyway despite me cancelling in writing several times. I had to cancel as there were no clear delivery times provided days after the purchase. They also did not have the correct item in stock despite being available to buy on the website and were sending me another type. I have not been able to get a refund and they are now telling me I have to pay for returning the enormous heaters that I cancelled anyway. I'm completely stuck and the customer service agents are clearly different each time they email which is very frustrating. Sometimes it's obvious by there response that they have not read the thread at all. Sometimes the response is rude and other times apologetic. I just want my money back and to send these heaters back. Total nightmare!

Shocking experience

Shocking experience. New water heater doesn’t work. This was to replace one for an outdoor shower for a holiday rental. Lost hundreds as had to compensate people for their booking.
Contacted the company 11 times. Had one reply asking for a video of the heater not working! Sent that and again no reply.
Tried to use online chat and again no reply!
Useless.

Received a Black Friday email from…

Received a Black Friday email from Camplux - 15% off site wide. Attempted to purchase a portable heater and got a message in the cart stating my item was not eligible for the discount. Emailed customer support and after some back and forth, got the same answer. Apparently to Complex, "site wide" means something different than one might expect.
