Campus France Algeria: A Frustrating and Unprofessional Experience

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with my experience dealing with Campus France Algeria during my application process for EPITA's Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence Systems program, set to begin in Spring 2025. Despite following all necessary steps, including paying the €6,000 enrollment fee and providing all required documentation, the experience with Campus France Algeria has been nothing short of appalling due to their lack of professionalism and inefficiency.

From the very start, the communication with Campus France Algeria has been riddled with problems. Initially, I was provided with incorrect information, where I was told that EPITA is a "non-connected" institution. Acting on this, I followed the specific procedure outlined for non-connected schools, only to later be informed—after critical deadlines had passed—that EPITA is actually a "connected" institution. This complete lack of clarity from Campus France Algeria caused unnecessary delays and confusion.

Adding to this, the Études en France platform was not functional prior to January 19, 2025, making it impossible for me to submit my application in time. This technical issue, combined with the lack of proactive guidance from Campus France Algeria, left me stranded and unsure of how to proceed.

The worst aspect of this ordeal has been the unprofessional and dismissive behavior of Campus France Algeria's staff. Despite multiple emails and in-person visits, my concerns were ignored, and I was left to deal with employees who clearly lacked the experience and expertise to handle such important matters. Rather than offering solutions, they dismissed my concerns, creating more obstacles instead of helping me overcome the challenges.

The staff appeared ill-equipped to handle international student applications and lacked the knowledge required to provide accurate information. Their indifferent attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility for their mistakes reflect poorly on the organization as a whole. Instead of being a support system for students, Campus France Algeria has been a source of stress and frustration.

What is most disheartening is that these inefficiencies and unprofessional behaviors have put my educational future in jeopardy. My program is set to start on February 25, 2025, yet I am still stuck dealing with administrative errors and a lack of support. The lack of proper training for the staff and the absence of clear communication channels make Campus France Algeria a highly unreliable institution for students who rely on their guidance for such critical processes.

I am sharing this experience not out of malice but in the hope that Campus France will address these systemic issues and work towards providing a more professional and supportive environment for students. Prospective students deserve a service that aids their aspirations, not one that hinders them through poor management, untrained staff, and a lack of accountability. My hope is that no other student has to go through what I have endured.
