A brilliant personalised RV and cruise trip
Canadian affair organised a brilliant personalised trip- 12 nights in a RV from Calgary to Vancouver, 2 nights in Vancouver and then a cruise up to Alaska. They listened to our wishes and then organised a fantastic itinerary booking campsites, suggesting things to see and do along the way. Everything was smoothly organised, all advice and vouchers given well in advance

Good experience but....
Overall we had a good experience - all the bookings/arrangements went according to plan and our requested itinerary was adhered to. It would have been even better if we could have dealt with the same person each time we phoned or emailed, but CA seemed able to pass on details well, so this is only a slight niggle.
Our main concern was one hotel (Irwins Mountain Inn, Banff) in particular was well below our expected standard and the standard of all the other hotels in our booking. We did have one night of our 3 night stay refunded and a complementary bottle of wine given by the management there. The room was small, in need of a good clean, communal areas very tired and generally in need of refurbishment. We wish we'd read reviews on Trip Advisor before accepting this hotel - similar complaints go back two or three years. Grateful for the refund, not interested in gaining any more recompense, but contacted CA on our return to highlight that dealing with this hotel does not enhance Canadian Affair's reputation but customer services did not seem interested. It would make us think twice before using CA again.

Just returned from a magical 15 days in…
Just returned from a magical 15 days in Canada. The trip took me from Vancouver to Niagara Falls via the Rockies.
Not only did Canadian Affair manage all the macro and micro details in an outstanding way, they also managed the bankruptcy of the Travel Agent I had used to ensure a seamless service and experience for me.

First time that we’ve booked with Canadian Affair
First time that we’ve booked with Canadian Affair and their helpfulness and attention to detail throughout the booking process gave me a lot of confidence. Initially we corresponded via email (which was down to that being our preference). However, when we were nearer to finalising our booking I spoke to Rachel and she couldn’t have been more helpful. There were some issues with one hotel already being booked for our dates and Rachel gave us several alternatives and priced them to enable us to make a decision. We were always rung back within the timescale that we were told which, in our experience, has not always been the case with other companies.

Outstanding customer experience
I was lucky to have Mark C as my 1st port of call when booking a holiday with "Canadian Affair". He listened to what we needed and suggested alternatives to suit our needs without being "pushy" in any way regarding upgrade of hotels etc. His knowledge was immense which really helped me to know I had come to the right place to make my booking. Mark was so pleasant to talk to, his enthusiasm shone through - I feel that we couldn't have had a better pre-sales experience! We are delighted with the value for money offered by the company and look forward to our exciting flydrive holiday in Eastern Canada next year!
