Outlet Bike purchase was a no brainer! My Grail On is fabulous for serious gravel routes. The packaging is first rate.
Purchasing an Outlet Bike was super easy. The quality of the bike is superior which allowed me to be super confident in my first road bike purchase.
Beautiful bike marred by chipped paint in three places out of the box (and the bike's NOT from the outlet). Packaging was solid, so I suspect the damage to the paintwork was there before shipping. I reported this to customer service. They were helpful and offered me a solution or two, which I am happy with. It does take time though, so patience is key.
On another note, delivery took all of three days, which is pretty impressive.

I knew what model I wanted, but hadn't seen a color I liked for a while. Ended up ordering the bike because I was tired of waiting. After ordering it, decided to look in the outlet section of the website. Here I saw the same model in a color I wanted. Called the next day to cancel the color I didn't really care for with extreme ease. No questions, nothing. The only improvement I would make is being able to start the cancellation process on Canyon's website with a verification call from a sales rep.
Bought an outlet Endurance SLX and the bike is fantastic. Even with standard shipping delivery was fast and I was able to ro put the bike together in less than 20 minutes.
Delivery was super quick (2 days). I've ordered a bike (Ultimate CFR) from the factory outlet page. I did not get the bike I've been expecting (thought it would come with a powermeter but finally had no powermeter - but the price was adjusted accordingly). But that was fine for me.
Nevertheless I suggest to better document the bikes on the outlet page. Actually there is just a list of model numbers an different prices.
Unfortunately Canyon does not offer variations in the gear ratio so I had to buy a compact crank in addition. I assume that many buyers are not professional cyclists an would be happy if they could choose a different crank and gear ratio.
As for the bike itself: I absolutely love the bike. Very good value for the price.

This is my fifth bike purchased from Canyon and it could very well be my last one. I am very dissatisfied with the poor delivery, the after sales and the long response times to questions asked.
The Bosch motor of the Strive-On CFR could not be registered with the App and had to be reset. For this I was referred to a Canyon service point “Jan's Fietsen Service in Assen”, an hour away from my hometown. “Jan’s Fietsen” stated that they were not a Bosch dealer and that they would have to take the bike somewhere else for a reset. Thereafter I started looking for a Bosch service point in my hometown. Apparently they were not interested in repairing a bike they did not supply themselves. Finally found someone who was willing to help me.
What surprises me most is that I receive a bicycle from Canyon with the knowledge that it has been used. Why wasn't the effort made in advance to reset the bike at the factory before it was shipped to me?
I get the feeling that they are better off selling at Canyon’s than providing adequate services. Communication with the service department is very poor, long waiting times and standard (no adequate) answers.
One comment from a service employee was absolutely frustrating: “Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that with an outlet bicycle something does not run quite as we wish.” This is of course a very misplaced comment. I did not buy a bottle of milk, but a bicycle for an amount of € 6.000.-

I would not recommend to buy a outlet bike. My experience was really not great with that but my new ultimate is awesome! Love it!!

Other than a little issue with their payment system, their support staff did everything to smooth it over and got my bike shipped the same day. I loved my bike which was a refurbished one from their outlet. It looked brand new and only took 15 minutes to put together from taking it out of the box to the first test ride. It's my second Canyon bike (first was a tribike) and I love them!
Bike quality is great. Easy to assemble. Outlet bikes have good pricing.

I managed to get this beast from your Outlet section (at great discount) - The bike was marked with "Slight sign of use" but there isnt really a single sign of use. It also had a different fork mounted (Rockshox Lyrik Select+ 150mm) than the Neuron 5 you can get now - I just had to get that awesome deal haha
Speaking about the shipment I didnt experience any problems whatsoever. All was done quickly and the communication was great.
The only small minus was that the package didnt contain everything that was supposed to be there (assembly paste).. I guess the reason was that there was already paste used before as it was from Outlet? Thankfully I had some paste left over from other bikes.. so it wasnt a problem.
I would say this bike suits really well for someone who used to ride XCs all the time and wants to have little more fun out there on the trails in forest. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone who wants to abuse it to its limits on jumps and bikeparks all the time and would rather look at the Spectral family.
If there is a way to upload this review to the actual review tab of this specific bike on Canyon I can provide some nice pictures aswell :-)
This is my 2nd Canyon… the first I bought as “normal” bike but returned because I was not satisfied with the Sram (I determined I’m a Shimano lady). For my 2nd I bought from their outlet. GREAT price and bike was flawless!!!! I had a few issues… wrong charging cable, breaks needed bleeding, 1 missing cockpit screw. They immediately corrected the charger/break bleed - VERY satisified. The missing screws should have been easiest to correct but took well over a week to get screws in (only reason I didn’t rate 5 star). End result = screws in and I LOVE my new ride! I’m an endurance bike rider and bought an Ultimate and can honestly say it’s the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden!!! I don’t feel super aero and the bump in our SC roads feel like nothing. I’ve never had anything but a Specialized but I’m not sure I’ll ever have anything but a Canyon for now on.
Great bike, great price, great experience with customer support so far. I did buy an outlet bike and had a few things missing like the Di2 manuals and the carbon paste for the seat post.
I purchased a canyon ultimate cfr from canyons outlet sales. I couldn’t be more happy with the purchase and cost savings of the bike purchased through the outlet .customer service is amazingly helpful ad knowledgeable.my second bike purchase , and extremely satisfied.
Good experience from purchase to delivery. I purchased a aeroad CF SLX through the outlet and it arrived in the exact condition it was described to be in. It was also very simple to assemble straight from the box.
Very enjoyable bike to ride and would recommend.

One day I passed the Canyon factory outlet, I said I was interested in a bike, and even thought it was only 10 min. before closing, the assistant helped me and had me test ride two bike. He stayed late, and was un-rushed. This was the start of a great experience. I then ordered a SpeedMax (I tried the bottom of the range, but bought the top of the range). All communication with the factory was answered quickly and accurately, I was even phoned to confirm certain points and to make sure we got it correct. I live in Sydney and thought I might get second rate service - I didn't and I will buy more bikes from Canyon
I bought Canyon Ultimate CF 7 in outlet. Very good price / performance ratio. And I appreciate very good service via partners in Czech Republic.
Terrible. I bought 17k of bikes from them this year alone. Got an outlet bike labeled “new with no use or damage” it was on old stock. Came In with chip on frame. I called. I never heard from them. That and one of the guys on bike number 2 of 4 this year was a condescending jerk. Don’t do direct to consumer. Support the bike shops. I was a professional road cyclist for 9 years and I’ve been around bikes to know a bad company when I see one. The cheaper price tags isn’t worth it. Their customer service is almost non existent, just look on here thst they only respond to positive reviews. Once they get your money they Do not care
Also I have tried to get a derailuer hanger and no one will respond
Great shopping experience, transparent information exchange, solid service response (chat), easy / fast delivery. I bought outlet Grizl 7 since the new ones are not available.
