Fast and good delivery, great product, good price. Ordered from the outlet, 100 euro reduction but until now no issues noted on the bike (scratches or anything). Really love the bike
Having read some of the negative reviews, i was admittedly concerned about purchasing from Canyon. That said, the bike i wanted (Spectral CF 7.0) was in stock in my frame size in the outlet section of the website, and so i thought i would take the chance and order seeing as there was no waiting time required.
The bike arrived a few days later without issue. No damage, nothing scratched or missing. I am super happy with the bike, it's quite something. I did also buy a few extras (mudguards, bottle holder) with which i had a slight issue (rear fender was for road bike and not a mtb) and i contacted them, and they replied personally by email 1 day later. I have asked for a returns label, as i feel that a road bike fender should not be a 'suggested item' underneath a mtb, and the cost of it isn't worth me paying the postage to send it back. I can't really fault them other than this tho, hence 5 stars.
Get yourself a canyon...you won't regret it! (Hopefully)
The bike is great so far once I finally was able to order and assemble.
I have issues with purchase/delivery/assembly experience.
Availability is also a problem. You can't pre order a bike, and there is no indication of when the bikes may be available in your size. I would likely have purchased a more expensive bike if it was available. You guys are losing money here!
Sizing!!
The canyon sizing seems different than other manufacturers. The issue is exacerbated by the low availability of bikes at this time. All the bikes show rider heights on the geometry charts with no overlap in rider heights, but another page in the navigation does show overlaps for rider heights. I found myself (and many others on the forums) studying the geometry of the bikes vs. other manufacturers and my current bike. This created a lot of uncertainty in buying the bike. You can say you have a return policy, but this doesn't apply to Outlet bikes, and when you pay $5000 or more for a bike it's a major problem. Your sizing page and tool gives a definite answer, but is not adequate to resolve this uncertainty. Look on the forums. Customers are still uncertain; give us enough information to feel comfortable with our size choice. If an S or an M could work for me, then tell me. Don't make it out like there is a black and white answer. I would have bought a more expensive M from the Outlet, but because I wasn't sure . The M frame size geometry is consistent with the geometry on recommended sizes from other manufactures for my height, and with my current bike. I ended up buying a less expensive S new (returnable), but I'm still not sure if the M would have worked or not. You are likely losing money, and it definitely delayed my purchase decision.
Delivery was prompt, but I did not receive notification it was coming a day early, and almost missed the delivery as signature is required.
Assembly:
Generally a good experience, but fell short on Di2 instructions. A simple supplement from Canyon, or even a web page reference in the instructions for the the Di2 wire connections and setup would be a simple and great improvement. The Shimano instructions provided are inadequate; it is difficult to find what you need online from Shimano, and I still don't have taken the time to find information on how to access any of the software or configuration tools I know are available. This is a glaring hole in the Canyon delivery to not have reasonable documentation for the Di2.
These issues are really easy to fix, and would make a huge difference. Otherwise, the product is great, and the value is great compared to other bikes. Clean up these little things, and you guys likely can't be beat!
I ordered a new Spectral from the website and it was a very smooth process. Canyon provides adequate info for you to make an informed choice. It really comes in handy considering this is normally such a tactile decision.
The shipping was fast and the bike carrier arrived with pretty minimal wear and tear from its journey. Bike was easy to assemble and everything you need is provided, including a shock pump. Setup took about 30 mins from the first cut of tape.
I really enjoy the bike as well. It rides like it looks, fast. I’m well over 6ft tall and I went with 27.5in wheels; I don’t regret it all. The Spectral’s dimensions are seemingly flawless and you’re capable of more things than you’d expect.
I’d highly recommend Canyon to anyone looking to purchase a new or used bike. Which is also good to mention, Canyon’s slightly used bikes from “the outlet” are amazing, at prices you wouldn’t think possible for the components you’re getting.
I’d rate my experience 5-stars and am so glad I decided to join the Canyon community of riders.
I ordered a cycle on Sunday and it arrived on Thursday to the UK from Germany. The set up was easy with supplied tools. The build quality and parts are excellent. I’m thoroughly enjoying this pathlite 6.0. It would be nice to have an outlet in the UK but can’t have it all. Keep up the great work Canyon!
Bought my bike from the Factory Outlet and it arrived 36 hours after my payment was finalized. Bike arrived in perfect condition just had to adjust the gear ratios in my local bike shop. Bike rides absolutely amazing!
Bought Grail from Outlet. Received the bike within 10 days. Great! After first ride I realized that Thru-Axle thread in the frame was damaged. Almost lost a wheel. Even though checked all the bolts and tension before ride. Immediately wanted inform about defect. Surprise surprise. Phone is not working, Facebook IM not replying, Canyon chat offline. Filled in the their return/warranty case. Got reply after 8 days. Filled all the necessary details and asked for return label. Sent 3 reminders and still no response 3 weeks already. During this time was hit by a car on a road. Gravel bike was bought to keep me outside of the car roads... Such a horrendous loyal customer treatment and total ignorance. Definitely last my bike even though the bikes itself are awesome. Can't describe disappointment. Will start legal actions with them.
I bought the Roadlite. It is a great bike. Amazingly lightweight. It has a good feel to it. The sizing throws you off though. I am 5'8" and the Canyon size calculator put in an XS frame. I was skeptical but I have to admit that the frame fits. I purchased my bike through their Outlet (mostly because no other bikes were available). It has a few dings on it but they are cosmetic and Canyon knocked $150 off the price. It was pretty much assembled when it came, but I needed a couple of new screws because the ones that came with were banged up. I sent Canyon a note but haven't heard back yet. They seem pretty responsive so I am sure they will arrive soon. I get a lot of compliments on the look of the bike.
Ordering was tough due to the low stock. I was lucky to see the one I wanted restock. Timely update of stock status will be great. Outlet bike stayed for sales even when they are actually sold.
Overall the bike is nice and value for money.
US customer service: Ordered a 2020 Spectral CF 7.0 Polar color and it wasn't shipped quickly because their fraud program wouldn't allow me to have 2 different addresses for shipping and billing. So working with them, I canceled the initial order and reordered with same addresses. A 2018 Spectral became available on the outlet and ordered that one because cheaper. After seeing the 2020 polar color in person, I knew the Stealth 2018 wasn't going to cut it. I called the customer service the day after ordering and they attempted to halt the delivery thru FedEx but it was unfortunately shipped. Contacted customer service again and they reviewed my order to verify the outlet bike could be returned and sent me a FedEx return label which I put on the box and sent back to them without issue. Despite calling and being number XX, they always called back and were cordial and helpful. I love my new bike. We'll see how the customer service is after 30 days if I have any issues. But upfront, they've been good so far.
My advice would be to avoid these guys. Two and a half years ago I bought an Ultimate CF SLX and paid quite a lot for it. It was from their outlet so I expected it to be imperfect which it was. However it had serious scratching to the braking track of the wheel which I thought could potentially affect the braking. Canyon were very difficult and only when I went directly to the UK MD was it eventually resolved in my favour. Fast forward to two weeks ago (keeping in mind I only use this bike in the summer months). I was out on a ride and set off from some traffic lights. There was minor contact between my heel and the seat stay but this resulted in a catastrophic failure of the back end of the bike. I had to send the whole bike back for inspection only to be told it wouldn’t be covered by the warranty but they would sell me another on at a discounted price. They also said they would not return my damaged bike if I bought a new one, even though it’s mine! They also want to charge me a significant labour and postage charge. Terrible customer service. Avoid and go to a proper bike shop (or Wiggle) where they actually look after their customers and stand behind their products.
Good bike good price. I bought outlet Enduro bike. I'll buy again. Thank you
Hi,
I bought Canyon Endurace WMN CF SL Disc 8.0 from outlet with "slight sings of use", the box arrived untouched, but there was a problem with setting front derailleur to a correct position. Although an experienced mechanic was putting it together, there was a problem with cage of the front derailleur - it looks like the lower part was slightly twisted out, so it was hitting a crankarm with this lower part, while the chain was already scuffing the cage when on 50-11. Definitely it wasn't assembled like advertised on website - just put parts together and everything is pre-set for you.
And one little thing was missing (we were looking for it since we took the bike out of the box) - a plastic plug which should cover the hole in the frame, where is the screw for seatpost tightening. Hope this could be send to me, as this detail annoys me a bit..
Otherwise it's a perfect bike, absorbing out most of road bounces, making the ride more pleasant, while still very light and dynamic. I just have to play a little bit with setting the shifting..
I bought a Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 8.0 Disc from the outlet part of the Canyon website back in November (note my bike was in stock when I bought, this seems to be important). I was told when I made the order that delivery would be within 2 weeks, a couple of days later got a phone call from Canyon to check all was ok and see if I had any questions. Then a few days later, less that 7 from ordering I got an email from UPS saying they had my order and it would arrive tomorrow!
So the bike arrived in less than 7 days, I got it out of the box and unfortunately the assembly instruction were missing. I went onto the website and their support sent me alink to some assembly instructions, and within about 20 minutes the bike was assembled and ready to go. It rides like an absolute dream, way better than I ever expected. I also got a hefty discount for buying a used bike through the outlet, and as well as some scratches the bike came with a Garmin out front mount, bottle cage and front light that I wasn't expecting. All in all, an amazing bike and great buying experience.

I purchased the bike from outlet. It came in a perfect condition, with some insignificant and hard to see scratches. The price reduction was very high compared to the fact that it was a bit used. Delivery was in time, considering there was X-Mass period. I did not ride the bike enough to really be able to say too much, but I love it so far.
This is my second canyon strive. First one bought from a friend 3rd hand. This time i used the outlet store online. The bike arrived in NZ very quickly and was in the condition as described on the website.
I am very happy with my strive cf and every ride recomend canyon to other riders. A friend also recently bought a strive cf 7 after test riding mine
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMEND CANYON BIKES

Bought an ex-Team Ultimate CF CLS bike from the Canyon Outlet sale.
Great value for money and condition was far better than I expected. It had been very well maintained.
Canyon webchat was extremely helpful in helping me decide which bike to go for.
Delivery was very fast.
Well done!
I personally found the whole experience very straight forward and easy to deal with, excellent value for money product compared to the competition and decent customer care with good communication. if I where to be critical of anything it would be the building of the bike once delivered, not as easy as the online video suggests! Which was due to being an outlet bike with XXL frame, these are packaged differently apparently - anyway absolutely love the bike, honest!

I purchased a canyon Endurace 9.0 from the outlet section and the bike turned out to be spec to 7.0. There is no number to call prior to purchase to ask questions so I purchased it and called on Monday when the email came through with contact details.
Turns out the specifications was a 7.0 (cheaper components, heavier and therefore should be cheaper). No apology for the “typo” on the website. Also, the weight on the website has a 500g error margin which is quite a lot so even the weight is not something that is accurate on the website.
They told me they would get back to me to confirm what was actually being sold and that the bike wouldn’t be shipped until I receive that info. They shipped the bike out a week before schedule even though I specifically told them I needed to clarify the conflicting information on the website before deciding if I still want the bike. Which would have incurred the £50 fees and then it takes a full week to get my refund.
The website has typos in the description (it is like ordering a BMW 7 series and they send you a 3 series), the assurances I received that the bike wouldn’t be shipped to me until I received the clarification, the weight on the website can’t be trusted, customer service that seems genuinely unhelpful (I’m not expecting premier customer service, just regular customer service like you would expect from Amazon but customer service felt more like RyanAir) and if this wasn’t an established brand I would think this is a scam website. I initially was drawn to Canyon because I thought it was value for money but now I will definitely not be buying a bike online from a company where I can’t trust the website or the words of the customer service.

Excellent product and very responsive UK support team
I purchased an outlet bike. The description was generally accurate regarding condition. There was an issue with wrong components fitted but resolved in a few days
