I ordered some halo capsule replacement bags in Jan - 2 months later still not delivered & company have not responded to my emails. Will be contacting my credit card company to get a refund but furious as effectively haven’t been able to use vac for 6 weeks

I have had a Halo Capsule for a year. The end cap for the roller brush has snapped and ground the end of the roller, rendering the appliance useless. I have tried to contact the company for three weeks now, still no contact from them. I am now having to review other products to replace it.
Terrible service from this company. Be very careful before buying from them.

Just bought a Halo for £199.99.Compared to a Shark it is brilliant.Without putting it into boost mode it picked up loads that the other didnt.Easy to assemble ,so powerful that you can see it pulling the carpet it.

Shocking company. Totally unhelpful. I had an issue with delivery of a Halo for my elderly Auntie and at no point during correspondance on the phone or via email was my issue resolved. Once they took the payment - all customer service ceased. Shambles. I am in the process of trying to arrange a refund!!

Bought a Capsule X in May 2024, and its been fine but 10 days ago it started making a high pitched noise when turned on , cleaned it properly but no luck eventually the motor stopped and thats where we are at...
Emailed them 3 times since 25th Feb 2026 just to ask if they had any ideas or what the procedure was for warranty and I've heard nothing , In this day and age you shouldn't have to email 3 times to get some communication, so it looks like I'll have to sell off my bits and buy another brand...disappointed

Whilst the Halo Capsule X is a decent hoover, the aftersales and getting hold of any spare parts you need is appalling. Takes weeks just to get a replacement charging plug, they break very easily so expect to replace it every 3 months @£25 each!!! I'm now buying another brand hoover as waiting weeks for spares that really should be available in a few days at most. Really poor communication also, emailed them as they report this is quicker and after 3 days still 'No Reply' I ended up calling them only to be told wait another week to hear if my order is despatched, no apology, no help, no more buying from Halo for me!!

I placed an order for a double battery Halo Capsule pack on the 1st January 2006. Although the appliance was delivered, the 2nd battery wasn’t included in the box and despite chasing for a replacement (3 x emails) I’ve been completely ignored and as yet, I’ve not even had my emails acknowledged. The Halo works well but a single battery doesn’t last long enough for my house. Like most comments on here - good product, terrible customer service.

How not to run a company part 1 to 100...!!
I wanted to buy one of the original versions but were out of stock. I was ecstatic to get an email saying a new one would be being launched and I could have a special price as a pre-order.
So in June 2023, I paid in full for a vacuum due in a matter of weeks. After much communication, mostly ignored, I received it on the 6th November 2023.
I loved it and was very happy with it all round. Roll on September 2025 and I kept having an intermittent fault on the main brush head. I emailed and rang and eventually spoke to Cleo (must be the only person working there) who said to send in a video. After wasting weeks to get back to me, she says its out of warranty and get this.....the warranty started on the day of ordering 12/6/23 not the 6/11/23 it actually arrived. Incredible!!And they wouldn't back down.
Even if I had wanted to be so stupid to buy a replacement part at £60 it has been out of stock since then so no option to even keep the machine going.
Since then I have seen numerous posts with the same issue rendering machine after machine useless which is dreadful.
I took it recently to a Repair Cafe where the guys said the internal wiring was very poorly designed and in fact, the plastic at the bottom of the head is worn so badly, it wasn't worth spending much on it as once that wears through completely , the roller brushes will not be held in place. They have wired it outside the head and for the time being it works which is great but I'll be sourcing a different one as it clearly isn't going to last long.
All I can say to potential new purchasers is DON'T.
Its not good enough, cheap enough, etc to warrant the hassle or a gamble that yours may be the one that continues to work after a year!!

First, the positives. The cleaner is excellent on wooden floors and there is no need to use the rotating brush function. It is very powerful and the fact that that it uses paper bags to collect the dust makes it easy to dispose of the contents. Have also used it to clean car mats and upholstery using the flexi hose and the 2 other attachments. Again, really good at picking up small stones and other debris.
Second, the negatives. The LED light doesn’t illuminate when using the non brush mode. I was under the impression that it would be super light but it isn’t.
Conclusion. It is a very good product and I prefer it to my previous cleaner. However, like some of the other reviewers, I waited exactly a month before it was delivered despite promising a 2 day rapid delivery service. This was after numerous phone calls and emails and the threat of cancelling the order. Don’t know what the real reason for all the delays is but Halo really need to get their act together or they will put off potential customers from buying their product.

The appliance has been fine (bought in 2020) but trying to get help for a technical problem is hopeless.
Submitted an online enquiry, telephoned and sent emails . No help.
Another 20 minutes waiting on the phone.
No replies to emails.
The most appalling customer services!
I charge the Capsule , I get 20-30 seconds running time !!!
All I ask for is a new battery. The machine is in good condition.
Soon it will have to go to the Dump.
What a waste!

Absolute rubbish support. My halo keeps cutting out and I have phoned and emailed customer service but they NEVER RESPOND!! I have emailed several times and they NEVER RESPOND!!
I have even tried calling sales and they actually answered but just kept repeating to contact customer support which I have already spent the last three weeks trying. I tried again but no response.
I now have a cleaner I cannot use!
NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!
I would not buy again
I’ve now had a reply on trust pilot giving me two days to reply which has already expired as I was away on holiday and have been unable to access my email. Please bear in mind sent the review in February and it’s now the third week of April so it’s taken halo over two months to reply to me but now I cannot reply to them as my 48 hr window has expired!
What a shambles!!!

I ordered some spares for the halo vacuum (brush roller, which wasn’t spinning due to wear of the plastic cogs) and was dreading not getting them after reading recent reviews. But in all fairness turned up 4 days after ordering them. So I felt it only fair to give a positive response. Saying that I did get a receipt email confirming order, but then nothing about shipping, but as I say turned up very quickly. Also we have had the halo for about 3 years and think it’s a brilliant hoover.

Honestly such a shame. I love my Capsule. I've had it since 2019 and it's been great. But the bags aren't for sale on Amazon any more, so I went online... nothing.
They said at the end of January to give them 9 days... its now end of February and not one response to my emails.
It's such a shame.

I ordered, and paid for, the Capsule nearly 4 weeks ago.
I have heard nothing since, despite numerous emails.
I have attempted to phone on several occasions but have not been able to get through.
It seems strange that they would launch an advertising campaign, presumably to increase sales, when they don't appear to have the infrastructure in place to actually supply the product

I ordered a cordless vacum on 27th January 2026. I phoned numerous times to enquire about delivery dates etc and was told it could take up to 7 working days. It didn’t come so I e-mailed a couple of times and had no response from them. I finally had it delivered today almost 4 weeks after ordering it. Very bad customer service

Ordered 12 January, money taken 13 January. Still waiting for a delivery date. Customer service is virtually non existent. Their latest email on 30 January has promised but not delivered! Having seen all the comments on Facebook, it appears that their willingness or ability to fulfil orders is totally unreliable. I have rated 1 star only because there was no provision for 0.

I have never had this issue with any other hoovers I’ve bought…it’s incredibly frustrating. Hoovering upstairs should be a quick job (I have LVT flooring downstairs). Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
Also, there really should be anti hair wrap on a hoover costing this much…

I ordered the hoover pd £189.99 didn't hear a thing for weeks, emailed tried phoning nothing. Eventually opened a case with PayPal no response still from the company and eventually had a refund from PayPal. Don't entertain this company. Buy a Shark, arrived on time and is a great product for same price. Guarantee registered when you buy. First class.
