They have the worst policies.
If you are thinking of investment never ever buy gold/diamond from Caratlane.
Even though the gold price increased exponentially but Caratlane has buy-back/exchange policy at the same price you bought (no matter at what rate you bought).
My experience:
One of my product which I bought at ₹24k has still the exchange value of ₹24k and buy-back even lesser by ₹800.
But in their app the same product is now showing 38k. What a joke !!
And what I found these days, for many products they have increased the making charge by 3 times in a span of one year or so.

Miscommunication and no delivery on the committed date and asked me to pay the difference. Disappointed by the sales team - Alisha, Chirag and Mahadev!

Second time having a bad experience will never recommend caratlane it to anyone

I am a regular customer of Caratlane and liked it's collection and services but when I exchange a ring and ordered other ring with extra payment or 16000, they send me a fake artificial ring. After lots of call and mails they are saying that that have packed the original product. This can happen at delivery partner end. And delivery partner is also denying.

They are also saying that they are investigating but nopositive response. Whenever I call they want extra time. After almost one month they are asking to file an FIR. I live in U.P. Most of people know how serious the police will for a 35000 k rs ring. Since I don't have a unboxing video they are indirectly trying to frame me. They make you helpless. They are not providing me any video of send or packaging the real products and talking very rudely.

I suggest never shop anything from Caratlane online. Only purchase from store. They don't care for customer satisfaction. They are Breaking my Tata Trust.

I have attached the photo of the ring I received. They are asking me to check it's authenticity. Each customer care conversation is depressing.

The service at Caratlane Velachery is excellent. The service personnel Ms Geetha had helped me with ease during the exchange of old gold.

A happy customer, every time I made a purchase. The designs are beautiful and amazing. I bought 2 ear rings and a Nose Pin in diamonds and they are really affordable.

Very bad customer service.. they didn’t want to help me at all.. they wanted to put off the call.. no help from WhatsApp help centre, chats, calls they intentionally charged extra amount.. then after several calls they refund me half amount.. still gold weight difference refund is due.

I had presented my daughter with a diamond band/ ring. Unbeknownst to her, one of the stones has fallen out. She had worn it for about 2 months. She lives in NZ. How can you replace the stone without a fee? You will agree with me that it is shoddy workmanship from Carat Lane.

I had a really great try at home experience from caratelane. All thanks to vijayanand, he got all the mentioned jewellary for trial and the entire process was really great.

I recently purchased a tennis bracelet and solitaire ring from Caratlane and had a great experience . Both Pøoja from customer support and store manager Shan from Noida outlet helped me with the entire process and made sure I get best deal within my budget .

Pooja U had helped us a lot in selecting the right piece of jewellery. She arranged video calls for the products we had shortlisted. It was a great experience.

Overall my experience with try at home was too good.. executive pasand (hyd) who visited our home was good at communicating, explaining about products.caratlane has trendy and affordable designs. I really liked it.
