Not happy with some sites that have the family camping , lodges and safari tents , it’s turned some sites into noisy holiday camps . As the people hiring them don’t belong to the club so don’t think... See more

Your sites are brilliant, but your website is appalling...put in a search, give an area, put in dates and it continually gives sites 200 miles away....😱

Extremely clean and well run-staff were very helpful and went out of their way at times. The alterations are a great addition to what was already a good site. The only issues we encountered wwere poor Wi-Fi and where we were sited -pitch 166 at times as many as eight small children on scooters and pushbikes were racing down the hill at breakneck speed —-an accident waiting to happen. Would advise some kind of a deterrent to slow them down. However a great visit and will be back next year.

Always a lovely site. However the rigid rules over 1pm access needed to be relaxed a little due to Southport Air Show proximity and the road carnage caused. To be refused entry for being 20 minutes early on this particular weekend is ridiculous - refused exit at the end of the lane as Stewards were directing traffic to parking, had to explain strenuously to get out, go around the block and attempt entry again.

I e found the CAMC have been a huge benefit regarding helping us get up to speed when we started motor-homing.
Their sites are second to none and are a credit to the club. The toilet blocks and showers are actually something to write home about; I certainly wish we had underfloor heating in our home!! 😊

The one thing which lets you down throughout your network is the lack of good free Wi-Fi. When so many places provide a reliable free service, you continue to fall short. I would have thought it could be included in your overall charges now, it should not be regarded as an option as nearly everyone needs it, especially if the mobile signal is poor.

You have taken money from my bank account for someone else. They weren’t informed of the transaction either
A partial refund has been promised but nothing has been received
I still haven’t received a refund

Staff are all so super friendly and helpful. Facilities are cleaned regularly and the site is clean too. All very well organised.
I'm disabled and would have been unable to access facilities block in my wheelchair or mobility scooter. Partly as there's a barrier to stop bikes (I guess) but also there's no disabled toilet or shower. There are only 3 showers for all the ladies on the campsite, 1 is a little larger than the others with a small stool but not truly accessible. I couldn't stand long enough to wait in the queue.
Location wise, it's next to an airfield so expect helicopters but apart from that quiet. It's accessed via a single track road but we didn't see many people using it. Long walk to a tube station (30 mins possibly) but we didn't use it, just used as a stopover near Harry Potter Studios (ideal).

I rejoined the club after a couple of years away. I joined on the offer of a free night on a booking. Everything was done digitally except the free night discount, which I was told would come through the post within seven days. The code didn't arrive in time for me to make a booking and I feared that the camp would be booked by the time I did have it. I found the website to be hard work and not customer friendly and the app is unworkable. Shocked and disappointed by the changes in the club, I cancelled my membership for a full refund. Nobody asked me why I was cancelling which I found very telling. MAMC has gone way downhill to the club I once knew. Regrettably, it would appear that the club has become primarily a selling platform with little attention to customer service.

Sites too expensive and some badly located. Call centres too busy and wait times poor. Recent alleged improvements to website worse than ever. Even the usually good insurance services had a nasty surprise this year.

Sites fees are overpriced for what you get after paying a £69 membership fee. Independent sites have caught up on standards and can offer better value without a membership fee.
Dynamic pricing is unfair and should be abolished.
£20 deposit should be introduced instead of £5.
Glamping has taken over from the core values of the club.
Club is run by accountants who don’t listen to its members.

Friendly team at arrival and departure providing welcome and clear instructions as our first time. Compact and well laid out site with good facilities and easy access to walks, cycling (main reason we were there), and short walk to town centre for shops, restaurant, etc.
Although we don’t stay long enough we’ll be back as also good setting out spot for various places to visit.

Garlieston Caravan and Motorhome site.
What a gem of a site with the most amazing friendly and helpful wardens! Nothing was too much trouble and they truly went over and above to make our stay memorable.
Lovely small sea side area with the wonderful Harbour Inn 3 minutes from the site. The food was amazing and staff warm and welcoming. Further along the front was The Hive Cafe , the staff and selection of cakes were delightful 👌- a definite place to return to - thanks 🤩
