Helpful and sympathetic advice
I was struggling a bit to know where to start looking when we were wanting to find some respite care for my mother in law. The very sympathetic call handler was lovely and it felt like a relief to talk to someone about it all. The subsequent list of care homes was a good start and I've now visited many homes and have, hopefully, solutions to our problems.

I was desperate to find a suitable respite placement for my 81 yr old husband who, at that time, was very uncomfortable on the Acute Assessment Unit at our local hospital. I had to get him out of there but didn't feel I could cope with him back home. I made dozens of phone calls - it was so stressful and frustrating. My salvation was carehome.co.uk.
