I paid 13,000$ for a $500 car (I only know because I looked it up on kbb) not to mention I could only drive it 3 months out of the 2 years I paid for it! Go ahead and shop at carhop if you want but your better taking your 500$ downpayment to the junk yard!

Don't buy here there crooks who take advantage of people in bad situations I got a 7k dollar car from them and within 2 weeks the speedometer broke traction control messed up and it broke down so I had to pay to get it towed to 1 of there warranty shops who couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so CarHop forced me to take it to another warranty repair shop of there's,just to find out it's 700 in repairs that isn't covered by warranty,car needed a tune up and ingnition module,you would think that they would of done that stuff before they sold someone a 7k dollar POS,stay away

I thought Carhop was great until I got a free upgrade for a newer car. When I took it in for an oil change and was told it looked like it had never been changed. I learned that carhop doesn't check any of the cars they get. If they sound fine they sell them with out any maintenance being done or checked. They also give you a warranty which I thought was awesome on a used car until I had to use it. My timing chain got thrown because again they don't actually check anything on the cars before selling them. I got my car back just to learn that the parts on my receipt said from AAA auto wreckers. Immediately a pulley started going out. It leaked and every time I took it back to the mechanic they would say it wasn't. It leaves a huge puddle every where so they were liers and don't get me started on the run around trying to even get ot looked at because the first shop they had me take it to originally didn't even know enough to see it threw a chain and bent it's valves... Now I have dumped a little over $2,500 cash trying to fix things on the motor they put in. Which got it out of its warranty that was almost up when it first broke down. Just paid $547 yesterday just to have it's check engine light come on again and had to try to get it home while it was cutting out.

It shouldn't even get that 1 start. My daughter bought a SUV and was in a accident on 2/9/18. The air bags didn't deploy. Both her and my granddaughter could if been killed.
She called the location where she bought it and was given a ph# to call. She called and spoke with a person to let them know that the bal on the acct wouldn't be paid because of the danger they put them in.
1/2020 she was served papers that she was being taken to court over the SUV. 2 yrs later?
Why did they wait 2 yrs when this matter was taken care of by her not filling papers on them.
If anyone should be going to court it's the ones putting people in dangerous car's

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a auto purchase. Car Hop is a predatory company that doesn't stand behind the vehicles they sell. I had my vehicle for 2 months and took it to my mechanic instead to using their mechanic as they want you to do. Well my mechanic said the wheel bearings are so bad on it that he questions the safety of driving it. Of course, I have had other issues with the vehicle from the start but Car Hop states that these issues are not covered under their "warranty". I beg anyone who reads this to please find other options other than Car Hop. It is not worth the problems. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm very upset with my experience so far. I purchased my vehicle 2 and 1/2 months ago and it's already had numerous problems. After less than a week of purchasing the vehicle the battery went dead. I did get it replaced through Carhop, but they made it sound like they were doing me this huge favor. Also now, I took it took the mechanic a week ago Friday and they are saying the throttle and multi functioning unit need to be replaced $800+ dollars through the dealership. I just received a call this morning after waiting over a week for a response, that the parts aren't going to be covered under warranty even though the shop said the throttle is part of the engine. and it's a power train warranty.

Someone I know is buying a car from these people and has been having nothing but auto problems. In the last 6 months his vehicle has been in the shop multiple times and he is always stuck with a repair bill. Please save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a car!!!

Do you work on cars because my mom review mirror on the driver's side is hanging down also her window on the passengers side wont roll up because the window is stuck in between the roller call me or text me 16193862464

My name is Breanna burgess I bought a 2011 Chevy Equinox they are fixing some of my stuff that's not warrantied so I'm so thankful for that they're really good so they worked with me got me into a new car when I needed it Go CarHop thanks to Angela and stuff

Terrible experience, I wish I could leave a 0 star review. I do not even have my plates yet and I have paid out more in repairs than car payments. I asked very specific questions during my purchase and was repeatedly told by Nicole, "we will always work with you". Nicole's version of "working with me" is to not respond to emails related to issues with the car. Issues such as missing nuts causing things to fall off. Delayed spare tire which was a condition of purchase ended up with a flat and no spare. While repairing tire I discovered that the tires on the car were two different sizes. Given that the car is a 4x4 is is not good for the vehicle to drive on different size tires. I had to replace the tires in order to keep my warranty. My entire garage floor is covered with oil because the oil filter was not properly attached, which I also had to repair myself. So all of the added cost cause me to be two weeks behind on my payment. Their solution is to threaten to disable my car. Seriously for being two weeks behind. Being a responsible consumer and maintaining the item is not the answer here. I guess I should have made the payment driven the car with the wrong size tires and let them replace the transmission when it damaged it.

They act like they are doing you a huge favor by helping you "drive". In fact I have an email that saying that this is not about getting into your dream car but something that works for now. And yes, we do not have the credit to purchase a car through conventional lenders. But, if their platform is helping people drive and improve their credit. Selling an already venerable consumer an unsafe car that in the first two months doubles their planned payment due and then telling them they are not going to be able to "drive" their disable car to get to work to earn the money to make the payment is counterinitiative and predatory behavior.

Friendly staff pretty decent amount of vehicles. They made it to were it was not as stressful as going to a name brand car lot. we didn't have to have credit but the good thing that's positive is they report to the 3 credit bureau.

Dont waste your money for all the aggravation you will get. Purchased my Jeep go in the following Friday to make my 1st payment and told them about the humming in my front end, took to their "authorized" shop per the acting manager. Repaired brake pads, cylinders and rotars in addition to a new muffler as it had a huge hole. When I picked it up still had the same noise and told them it was not fixed and that the "new" muffler was now vibrating bad. Fast forward two weeks, while out of town 100 miles away for work my starter goes out in which I was telling them about this issue earlier...called Carhop to get a tow or local shop authorized to fix it...told no. Left work to take it to their "authorized" shop to be told flywheel and starter is out. Had to wait 5 days for repairs in which I couldn't get a loaner as Carhop doesn't do that. Fast forward another week...I still go in 2-3x a week to complain about my issues...get told to take it to another shop in which my relay switch is confirmed not working, my left front wheel bearing is going out and scored at a 4+ in which they told me not to drive, tie rods on left n right front are at a 2 out of a 1-3 scale. These are ALL major safety issues and this vehicle should never of been sold like this. Now I get a email stating if I make a payment they will start to help with the repairs..told them again I will not make more payments until it is fixed. I then get a phone call asking what they can do...told them fix my car...after a hour of arguing with 2 people I hung up...they wouldn't let me give the car back or exchange it without putting it as a repo on my credit...they dont care. Carhop is a HUGE scam.

A year ago I didnt know what to do . I had a van that was falling apart. I had no credit . I saw a Honda odyssey I really liked at carhop. The next day i inquired about it . One of the best decisions I have made . Yes its older. It has miles on it . Last week the water pump went along with the front axel . I cant complain the warranty covered both. 75 dollar deuctable. Carhop helped me get a car and build my credit. I now own a good honda odyssey and I'm buying a brand new one . Hands down a good place to get vehicle.

I filed an application for credit with Car Hop and from the start have had horrible service from the sales rep named Curtis. He failed to follow up with me until I had to reach out to him. Curtis began asking for information from a previous application I submitted which was not the one with my current information on it. When I reached out to Curtis he failed to follow up with my primary form of communication as well. I called Car Hop on 10/11/2019 to speak with a manager regarding the situation and spoke with Dave. Dave is not personable at all at the slightest sign of frustration he began to threaten to hang up on me and not do business with me. I was not verbally abusive not was I screaming, shouting or yelling at him. He stated that because I was making a complaint against him and his employees I was being abusive and he eventually hung up the call. This business failed to communicate with me about my approval or denial of my application on more than 5 occasions both by call and email. They refuse to tell me what the application status is and at this point feel that they have violated my rights as a consumer. I have not received any mail regarding my credit which was run by this business and want any record of them pulling my credit removed from my credit report as they have blatantly failed to provide the service they advertise. They are not conducting fair and reasonable business.

On my new job got a text about my car being disabled.. I found out my payment didn't go thru due to someone trying to use my card online so my credit card was cancelled and a new one sent out! I called carhop financing back and explained AND told her I had a direct deposit coming in the next day from my other job. She claimed there was nothing she could do. So I had to leave my new job on the first day scared I'd be stuck somewhere! Couldn't go to my graveyard job becsuse I don't have no way to get there! And missing an interview I have tomorrow! This is evil of them. I'm so hurt and work so much It doesn't matter that I'm new with them this was wrong on all levels and ethically down right a blow to myself and my son livelihood.

I went in there 9/21/2019 I was really leery on getting the help in needed. Jeremy Valdez the sales manager helped me 100% in the kennewick location he was very patient and so was i..drove away with a wonderful vehicle. Car hop goes above and beyond helping out people..Thank you Jeremy and Car hop.....
