I was on enchanment of the sea June 16-22 2024 this year . I took Uber and everything went smooth arriving. I didn't know the boat had a shuttle till it was too late . Needs to be reserved 4 weeks before . It was very rocky and the only excursions I booked was cancelled due to the weather. Food was good . I didn't buy the extra food choices and glad because I was very pleased with the DR and buffet .
Entertainment was comedian and juggler which I enjoyed but I didn't like the musicals. Just not my thing . I bought the drinking package and glad I did. Massage was worth every penny but hated the high sales pressure. Leaving the cruise I had no problems . Staff was wonderful and I'll go again. It's a older ship which limited the part scene which was fine with me

DONT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. I booked a cruise for five hoping to get a quick summer vacation my family. I didn't hear until day 2 and standing next to the pool. That kids that were are not 100% potty trained can not participate in any water facilities. It was the main reason that I booked the cruise. I wish I knew before I booked. NEVER BOOKING CARNIVAL AGAIN.

The customer service on this cruise line is an atrocity. Some of the rudest individuals I've ever had to talk to with no problem solving skills of their own I'm assuming the cruise line just says sorry there's nothing we can do. I absolutely understand why carnival is what everybody says it is awful. Most of the wait staff were great none of the customer service is good. Why do you even have customer service when you can't problem solve or do anything and I'm not the only one that was complaining everybody in that line was complaining. Also love how you cannot get in touch with anyone on the phone to talk about your cruise experience because they know how your cruise experience went it was awful. Very little help for anybody that has a disability or anyone that needs assistance. Way to go carnival

This is for a cruise not yet taken but is do to sail July 27 -August 3. Well the grade 4 hurricane has torn up Jamaica and a few other places my love ones living there are without power and other necessities. We have been informed we will not be able to port in hurricane effected ports so we no longer want to do this particular cruise and we desire to do Bahamas and we have been informed of the excessive ridiculous penalty. Why cant we just switch to another cruise and pay the difference. A act of God shouldn't have a penalty just a personal choice to cancel are change should this not our 1st cruise and Im certain it will not be our last please look at our past history with your cruise line. I have been having the hardest time getting a refund. I was having a hard time booking 2 rooms online, so I decided to call in to book. I asked the rep to give me the best deal that they could. At no time during the conversation was I made aware that my deposit was non-transferrable and non-refundable. They booked the 2 rooms. I am unable to go on this cruise because I won't be able to get the time off due to a new job. I called Monday, July 1st. This is when I was told I had a "special insider" Casino booked cruise. I never asked for anything that would make my money non refundable or non transferable. That was not disclosed to me on the call. A manager in the Casino named Francessa told me it was policy to disclose this in the call. She said she would listen to the call and call me back. She did not. I had to call in for a second time This is not my first cruise. I am sticking to the rules set forth by Carnival. If my cruise is not a Early Saver, Super Saver or Pack and Go, why am I not being refunded my deposit? After much back and forth with manager Crystal, she issued a full refund for one of the rooms. She advised me that the second room needed to be handled by a different department. She also said that there was no promotion or anything that would keep me from receiving a refund. Once over to the other department, they told me that is was non-refundable and non-transferrable and booked as an Early Saver. I should not have to go through all of this to get a refund. I simply followed that advice of the agent that sold me on this package. I want to be able to have an enjoyable time with my family. The last time my family cruised, my family and I spent over $15,000 with Carnival. I would hate to end that relationship over $900.

Let me start saying I have always enjoyed cruising with carnival I made it all the way to the level of platinum and . My Last cruise was on the sensation in 2006
Due to the fact my Mom had past away she would always accompanied myself and daughter Melissa as well . So this year was my return to cruising again so I thought . I never was so stressed out after this occurrence happened at your New York Port Pier 88 on June 6 2024 at approximately 3:20pm first off traffic was out of control due to protesters and police shutting down traffic and blocks to prevent people from getting out of control. So upon our arrival waiting line we were greeted with the unpleasant inexperienced and unfriendly greeters that you employed at carnival yelling and screaming at us like we were children this behavior is unacceptable I paid my hard earned money to be yelled at I don’t think so to be told you’re not boarding this Ship like they owned it last time I checked Josh Weinstein is the CEO of Carnival.
Your Greeters yelled stating what took you so long to arrive when we ask to speak to someone else they radio her and before hearing from us she yelling over the radio NO,she took her time coming downstairs to tell each one of us NO which in fact we were all people of color we explained to Cruise Manager Osknara we could see guest boarding the ship if she let us aboard but was still be nastiest than the two greeters which I feel was very inappropriate we were just trying to board the FUN SHIP I ended up calling carnival as we stood there finally let upstairs by a security guard told us to come upstairs and which we we’d ask for our boarding passes which in fact they never printed out just the luggage tags the checkers were just as nasty as your Cruise Manger and Artie was disgraceful all these people need to be removed I believe retraining will not help ruining everyone vacation on June 6 2024 not only myself but other couples of color that were talked down to and denied access to your ship this leaves an horrible, horrific feeling and experience marked on you for life . Not the mention all the things you have to take care of prior to sailing like boarding your pets securing your vehicles and securing your Home
For this entire treatment process I want my entire refund from Carnival this behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional and unbelievably disgusting that Carnival would have this kind of service happening in 2024 !!! My daughter Melissa and I are still hearbroken over this horrific tragic experience we may need trauma therapy after this incident with Carnival !!!!

They aggressively threaten you with jail if you smoke a vape (water vapor) if you smoke outside of the small smoking area. I got stuck with harmful secondhand smoke and a headache just so I could hit a water vapor vape. Are you kidding me? The security acts like they’re going to hit you. Outrageous criminal behavior.
I have been on 13 cruises with Carnival…
I have been on 13 cruises with Carnival and I have never had the experience that some of the one star people are posting. A lot of things are policy and is clearly stated in the contract when people book. Also, people should immediately get their trip insured once they book (ie travel insurance) so that if they MUST cancel for a valid reason they are covered. I also notice that some of the reviews encourage people to book on Royal Caribbean, NCL or MSC. Beware of those reviews as well because they maybe fake.
Overall there are some things that this company could change, but we have had more good experiences than bad. Here are a list of ships I’ve been on:

Carnival Celebration
After carefully consideration and explanation of my needs; I was able to find the perfect room that would fit my mother needs. I agreed that I would placed my deposit on the vacation package that was offered. I was told I would be place in room XXXX and paid $300 deposit. I then was forwarded to a second agent to make sure my special requests were successfully noted in the account. After speaking with the second agent she informed me she didn’t know why I was placed in the room I was in. I then explained to her my mother’s needs and I was very well satisfied with the room I was in. This conversation then resulted to speaking to her supervisor. He then told me my room may be changed. I was uncomfortable with the changes and told him this was the reason why I paid the deposit. I was told to be contacted 48hours. I will not be removed from my room in the meanwhile will it’s further investigated. June 4th I received an updated email that my room has been changed. I called customer relations and spoken to guest resolution supervisor to ask why I was not notified about the changes. And why my room was changed without my agreement. I paid my deposit so it should have been honored to me. Once I spoken to the senior agent that explained it was an error that was made and for the amount I paid I was removed to what my total in price paid for. I would have to pay the amount the room cost and there’s no one that would help me in this matter to keep my room. I don’t agree with decision because this was something that should have been honored from an error that was made on Carnival Celebration behalf. In my opinion this was very unprofessionally handled without contacting the guest on the changes. I was just placed in a room what Carnival feels the funds I paid for good enough for. I was not even placed on the floor I was originally booked on. There wasn’t even any room/booking accommodation’s for the mishap on Carnival behalf.
We went on a the carnival celebration
We went on a the carnival celebration. It was their newest largest ship at the time and it was amazing. The food was great..service was exceptional and shows were fantastic. Our CD was Lee and he knows how to make sure everyone has a good time! Highly recommend! I personally wouldn't sail anything smaller or shorter than a 7 day cruise....the shorter the cruise the more likely you will end up on more of a "party" ship rather than a vacation. If it can be considered a weekend get away I'd avoid it ...on all cruise lines but that's just me I get one vacation a year I'll make it the longest and get the most.out if it! Very highly recommend carnival Celebration, mardi Gras or Jubilee ships!
Less upkeep, but friendly staff
I went on a Carnival Cruise Line ship for the first time. If you go on a Royal Caribbean Cruise Line ship before going on Carnival then you will be let down. We went on Carnival Horizon which is newer than Harmony of the Sea, and Carnival does not do upkeep on their ships. That is for sure the price difference, along with all the differences in quality of meals, etc. There was rusted and broken dividers on our balcony, and MOLD in our room and showers, I did not expect that on a 6 year old ship! I will say that the staff was very friendly and sweet though🩷
Harmony of the Seas came out in 2016 and is much nicer and I couldn't spot one damage. I guess that's what you get when choosing the cheaper option. I'd much rather go on a Royal Caribbean Cruiseline ship any day!

Let's just start with my data in my phone being breached by someone on the ship. I was notified by my Norton security to get off of the wifi and that my info had been breached. Right after that, I got a text claiming to be the cruise manager by the name of Martha saying that my card used on the cruise was declined. The staff assured me that no one with that name worked on the ship. And then my bank notified me that strange charges were coming thru my account. The security on the ship claimed that this has never happened but when I Googled it, I found all kinds of problems with their wifi.
The staff was ok, the food sucked, the policies with the drink package was ridiculous. You can't even order two waters at once.
The weather wasn't very nice but they still had the AC cranked and everyone was freezing.
I will NEVER go on this cruise line again. I've been on many and Celebrity and Royal are amazing.
Such a low caliber experience! What a waste of my time, money and added stress. Getting new cards for all of my accounts is a huge time expense! And all I got was a "sorry"

JUST DONT! I would give them negative stars if I could. I booked a cruise with them and was supposed to leave on June 15th. I called them 34 days away and had to cancel because my 12 year old daughter was rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed with CANCER. She is currently under going surgery for a massive tumor. I understand I didn't purchase the insurance but if there was every going to be an exception a child getting cancer should be it. I was told there is a group that grants exception for that kind of thing. I got the most cold response that its industry policy and that's why they offer the insurance so my request is denied. What kind of garbage company tells me its industry policy and hope you sail again soon when I tell you my child had cancer and is in surgery! When I tried to request another review I essential got told that was it end of story case closed. This company deserves to go out of business and doesn't deserve anyone's business. Clearly there is no exception to their policy so beware. They are all about the money and not people.
Does Carnival Care
One has to wonder if Carnival really cares about the reviews people write after a cruise with them, I recently traveled on the Carnival Pride which is a lovely ship, I met lots of nice people the food was amazing the late dinning was exceptional; they did a fantastic job with transports from Baltimore to Norfolk; their on board registration and exiting process is flawless so way am I giving them a one star review because the cleanliness of my shower were so disgusting that if I were to show you the photos of what I had to clean prior to using the bathroom it would make your skin crawl and if that’s not bad enough I am on a Facebook chat and travel tips group and someone else posted photos having the exact same issue on another ship. As a precautionary measure it’s always good to carry cleaning and sanitizing supplies for your own safety however you should not have to literally scrub the bathroom shower before using it. I do not blame the room Stewart I blame Carnival for being understaffed in that area. Their guest service department could use a little more training; the first day of travel was chaos and they weren’t quite ready for the crowd.

This cruise line has to be the bottom of the barrel. I would never sail with Carnival again. We had cruised b4 with NCL and it was night and day. The food at the buffet was the same nasty unseasoned food everyday. Very unimpressed
