Homeless people inside the store begging customers for money

Today I went into the cars Safeway store in Anchorage Alaska on Huffman road. I bought a drink and something to eat at the Starbucks inside the store and sat down. A homeless man came up to me as I was sitting there and asked me for money I yelled at him and told him to go away the employee behind the counter started laughing and another customer told me that she had the same problem with this homeless person a little while ago only the store let him wander around and bothered people more eventually the assistant manager and a woman employee walked by and I tried to tell him what happened and they said oh we already know the police won't do anything so there's nothing we can do about it this store is not safe I'm a senior citizen I used to be a deputy sheriff and I never have seen such a flagrant disregard for customer safety the store has had this problem for months with homeless people they do not have security in there and the import and the employees are afraid to do anything about it they blame the police meanwhile endangering their customers they need new management in the store and they need security.

Overworked Employees and low stock

This review is about Corporate. They have cut employee hours in Anchorage and Wasilla. Staff is scarce at all stores and the employees are overworked. Stores are not stocked. Shame on you Carrs/Safeway for doing this. I am a customer not employee and have had to go to Fred Meyer and Walmart because most of your stores here now are no good.

Asking for receipts

If Carrs is going to start having people at the door asking for receipts. I will do my shopping some where else. If you can pay security Guards at the door, You can hire cashiers, and then you will know everything is being rang up ! Plus it's more professional, and better customer service.
