Please provide the right tires for each season
My company provided a long term hire from Caruur. Yesterday, we had a bit of snow falling with freezing temperatues as much as -7 degrees which resulted in slippery roads.
I noticed the car slipped quite a lot. I always drove with winter tires in the winter so this behaviour was very strange to me, especially with this small amount of snow.
On the road to my work I called Caruur long term hire to see what if they had installed winter tires in winter season.
To my suprise no winter tires, no all round season tires but summer tires. The car was rented begin of february. The person on the phone even mentioned that it was only just one day of snow.
In my opinion winter tyres or all season tires are much safer in conditions where the temperature drops below 7 degrees or wet conditions due to the softer tire and different profile.
At this moment the car slips driving 30 km/h for 4 meters.
This is dangerous for;
car damage (they have a great allrisk ensurance I'm sure)
physical injury of driver and passengers
physical injury of people using the road (bicyclists, hikers, etc)
getting fines when you travel to Germany.
So Caruur, make they world a safer place by providing winter tires on all cars rented out in winter season. Or mention to your clients that they are renting a car with summer tires in wintertime so they can make a well-considered decision.

Btw, I'm 100% sure that if you rent a car in summer, this company is great. Car is nice, clean and has just the right amount of options (no heated mirrors which you won't notice in summer ;) )
