Overall disappointed
I was treated to a stay here, and was ready for a week of luxury! The room was so cold! Even with the air con and fan off, we were wearing socks in bed! There is no heating, and it gets colder than this! Two days our room wasn't replenished or made up at all, and when I called down first time, it was hinted at, that it was our fault, for popping a do not disturb sign on our door for an hour, at 4pm as we got ready for an event in the evening. We had been out of the room all day. Twice our coffee and sugar were not replenished, basic job!
Windows are painted shut, so couldn't even get some warmth in! Isn't this also a fire hazard?
Most staff were pretty dismissive, apart from a lovely blonde curly haired lady at breakfast, and the outstanding Ayla at the pool, couldn't do enough for us! With a smile and genuine interest, as if we were the first people she had taken care of that day! Also a very attentive lady from the Ukraine in the shop. Apart from that, the outside of the hotel was impressive, inside the rooms, not so much, and the corridor didn't see a hoover all week! All in all, it looked the part from the outside, but overall, I wouldn't choose to stay again.
