I've worked as a Supporting Artiste for nearly four years and Casting Collective is my favourite agency. This work is fickle, with many releases from availability checks and some late cancellations but much of the uncertainty is due to changes by productions and to the fact that it is a very competitive field. Casting Collective has done a great job in putting me forward for great productions, in always providing detailed information about the proposed jobs, in keeping me informed of any delays in the selection process, and in giving timely information about call times and locations. It's also great to have named agents for each production.

My experience has been very good. Film extra work can be frustrating, but you feel Casting Collective is on your side. They get lots of opportunities. Communication is good. If you are serious about film support work I would recommend signing with them.

I have been registered with Casting Collective since 2009. In that time I have worked on some great projects and thought they were the best agency, but everything changed with the lockdown. In the last couple of years I can literally count the number of days' work I've had through them on one hand. Before the lockdown you'd have to visit their offices in Latimer Road, London where they'd take your measurements and had a professional photographer to take pictures for your profile. However since 2020 you have to re-register online through their website, and everytime you want to accept a job you have to upload a selfie, and if you're no good at taking selfies you won't be getting ANY work.

A very professional agency with a hard working team, who take a refreshing and innovative approach to SA booking by doing unusual things like telling you where you're going, when you're expected to be there, what you're expected to do, and paying you on time (sadly not always the norm in this industry). Of all the agencies out there, they're one of the best ones.

I've had a fantastic experience with Casting Collective. They've consistently secured me roles on some really exciting film projects, and I’ve received more confirmed work through them than any of the other agencies I’m with. Communication is great, although things run so smoothly that I rarely have to reach out. The entire process—from booking to payment—is efficient and hassle-free, with paperless payments arriving promptly after finishing a days work, it's always reassuring to see what you've been paid and that it's all correct. I’m really looking forward working on more films and shows with them. I find Casting Collective to be a reliable and professional extras agency.

I have been with the Casting Collective for 12 years. I have had some wonderful jobs through these agents, but best thing about CC is communication and transparency. Each agent is accessible when you want to discuss a project and any concerns.

I've been with Casting Collective for a few years now on multiple productions and as a supporting artist I can say they provide a great service.
The detail provided in their AV checks together with follow up information when booked is thorough and they are always quick to respond/resolve queries.
If you are looking for a casting agency as a supporting artist then you will not go far wrong if you are on their books.

I joined Casting Collective a couple years back and they have been nothing short of amazing when it comes to getting you castings, communication is one of the best I've had with any casting company too.

Though CC are known for more SA and stand in work, if you are an actor, there are opportunities to also be put forward for featured roles too.

Often with Casting Collective one works with very talented, helpful and creative team of people and that is naturally always a good thing! Also it is a possibility to brush up on my acting skills and make amazing new friends & meet potential future collaborators. As I am a director myself, thanks to Casting Collective a learn a lot about filming process at every shoot. Very occasionally I find though that extremely early calls, in fact turn out not to be that essential and human resources & time could be used better.

I was confirmed for a “major film” project and booked for almost the whole of January, only to have each of those dates cancelled a day or two before each shoot.
They booked me for almost the whole of January after telling me to be available for every date of the film project. I did exactly as instructed and made sure that I was available for all the dates even changing some appointments to fit the shoot dates.

I was eventually released from the job with them telling me it was down to the film production team.
No matter who is responsible, this is extremely poor practice and please don’t tell me “that’s just how the business is”.

Because of The Casting Collective I missed out on working on other projects. It was my first job with this agency and I can’t believe that they have treated me so poorly.
It’s not a big deal for them. They already have their job.

Their website claims them to be “the best in the business”.

The best in the business? Prove it to me.

I find this casting agency excellent to deal with, they have secured me multiple days of work on a number of exciting high profile projects including Downton Abbey and Fantastic Four. They are efficient and friendly to deal with and clearly care about what they are doing. Highly recommended!
