Bought a Chimenea from this company. Had an email from the courier ten minutes before item delivered. Low quality Chinese made chiminea at a keen price. Wobbled on base. Fire grill did not fit. Neither did the oven grill, not the chimney or the rain cap. I sent the company an email with pictures to demonstrate the appalling quality. I am disabled and had to pay more money to get all the burrs and miscasted items to fit. I have pointed out the item is not fit for purpose and is a infridhment of statutory rights. No answer. No customer service. No morals or aftercare. Spend your money elsewhere. I will never deal with this company again. Be warned.

Ordered a Pasadena chimenea with grill on Saturday, received on Wednesday. TNT delivery driver was a cheery chap and really helpful with delivery, ensuring we got it safely inside & out of the way for me. Very pleased with quality of the chimenea - far, far better than the overpriced tat at garden centres! Very well packed and all parts present & correct Went together pretty quickly, only niggle is the use of terms screw and bolt were (incorrectly) swapped around - so if you buy one, go by the M20 and M25 definition rather than bolt or screw. Not got it lit yet as waiting on garden alterations being complete, but will follow the curing instructions online - for some reason (minor niggle 2) they aren't in the printed sheet. Can't wait to get fired up, this is a great looking chimenea and top quality.

I ordered a chimenea at the end of May. Received it early June and one of the legs was broken so I couldn’t assemble it.
I emailed them with a picture of the broken part and asked for a replacement. Since then I have exchanged a number of emails with them. To date (4th July) I have not received a part. They keep explaining that ‘their’ supplier has sent a replacement part. But this firm is my supplier so they’re responsible for getting me what I’ve paid for.
I really wish I’d read these other reviews before giving these people my money.
Please don’t buy anything from this firm. Cowboys…

Awful customer service, miss sold and badly packed chiminea pizza oven.
The company does not respond to issues.
(1) rejecting damage by their bad packaging - on its side (+ the delivery company had to put on a new pallet as their home made one made of chipboard broke)
(2) rejecting their miss selling when their water resistant cover leaks rusting the chiminea (I bought 2 - a spare too). Cover is effectively see through and has holes in it around all seams. It is too short (compared to sale image) and does not have the described draw string.

I tried rejecting goods but they don’t respond, poor if not non existent customer service. My only option is small claims court.

Don’t buy from them……

Terrible company no after care, broken chiminea covered in touch up pen bolts missing. They said it was my fault now won’t pick up the phone same chiminea on Amazon just go for that as these are terrible to deal with and I’ve passed it over to trading standards.

I recently purchased the The Prairie Chiminea in Black. I ordered the Chiminea from their website together with a large cover. I received the the order acknowledgment and a confirmation of delivery which was within two days. The item arrived within the allotted delivery schedule by a national courier. The chiminea was very well packaged. The cast iron components were easily assembled, although I have some craft skills. I have had a number of fires in the chiminea and has worked extremely well. I would recommend this product and found castironchimineas.co.uk very easy to deal with. Hope this review is helpful to anyone undecided.

Don’t buy from this Company unless you want a bad product & unprofessional customer service. We bought two for our children’s birthday and both chimeneas had the same fault. Neither chimeneas are stable on the base and both wobbled. The company did not respond in a professional manner although a Video showing them how the chimenea wobbled. I was told to repair it myself by putting a wedge on it. Their customer services was not at all acceptable. Think before you buy from this Compamy!

The manager here has a shocking attitude. We bought a small chiminea at a cost of £125. The first one that was delivered wouldn’t fit together. The Manager insisted it was something we were doing wrong. Anyway, after actually driving down there because they don’t answer the phone we were sent a replacement which was fine only it rusted within a few days. Called to discuss this and couldn’t get hold of anyone. Eventually the response to my email was that this happens to all chimneys. STAY CLEAR!

I ordered a XL Toledo Chiminea with the understanding that the item would be delivered when in stock, after a few confusing emails I received it a few months later. The overall fit and finish of the chiminea was poor with large gaps between the sections and some parts not fitting at all (cooking grate). I contacted Castironchimeneas.co.uk and was informed that all of the faults were normal and the same as any other manufacturer. With the cost of returning the product I am now forced to try to fix it myself.

good customer service, bad quality product. Purchased a gazebo from this company Easter this year, it has barely lasted me 6 months has holes have started to appear in Canopy roof. I contacted the retailer and was told that holes where mad by birds pecking the canopy roof. Hog wash! the product is not fit for purpose to only last 6 months.
I also had 2 parts exchanged after arrival of the gazebo as the weld joints where broken. in fairness they did exchange these parts for me so I will give them that. I will not however be purchasing from this company again.

Purchased a 200 pound cast iron chimnea from this company and during my phone order I asked for waterproof cover. A cover was recommended and I purchased it.
Everything arrived correctly and assembled. I was pleased with my purchase.
Until 2 months later I came to use the Chimnea and found it has rusted. The cover provided was leaking.

I contacted the customer services who advised the cover is water resistant and not waterproof like I had asked for.
So through being miss sold a cover I now have a 200 rusted chimnea which is only a few months old.
If I was informed it was only water resistant I would have purchased an alternative from else where.

There response with poor care instructions (no remedial suggestions) was very poor.

Be careful what you purchase from this company and ensure you check all product descriptions thoroughly. Especially if ordering via phone and going on their recommendations.
