I've been in my Castle Green Home for nearly 2 years now and I am more than ecstatic with the quality and the after care I've received from the North Wales customer care team! I would happily buy again from Castle Green due to the professionalism, friendliness, quality and easy process.

Every new build has its teething problems but when it comes to customer service it is second to none. Steve and Laura are a credit to the company. The move in date was delayed due to weather but we were kept up to date along the whole process. Even when there have been issues they have been dealt with, quickly and efficiently.

We previously lived in a new build and found the whole process with castle green to be a lot more seamless. Even now while the house is settling and we are getting snags, the aftercare is a 5* service. Thank you team

Having moved into our Castle Green property five years ago, we have experienced a number of issues with the build quality, many of which have required attention. The most recent concern is that our boundary brick walls are crumbling and becoming unstable.

After notifying Castle Green and giving them the opportunity to inspect and carry out any necessary remedial work, we were informed that the deteriorating brickwork is something we should simply “maintain” ourselves. This response is particularly disappointing given that these defects were first reported within the initial two-year builder warranty period.

It is difficult to understand how a boundary brick wall on a five-year-old property could reasonably require significant maintenance due to deterioration. If this is considered normal, it raises serious concerns about the quality and longevity of the workmanship, not only for the boundary walls but also for the brickwork throughout the property. Despite these concerns, Castle Green (North Wales customer care to be specific) have refused to carry out any remedial work.

We completed on our new Castle Green home in Hawthorn Meadows last week after reserving in October last year.

Although we had a four month delay with completion, now we’ve got the keys it was definitely worth the wait!

Laura has been brilliant throughout the whole process. She kept us updated, answered all of our questions, and was always at the end of the phone whenever we needed anything.

Steve has also been amazing. He works incredibly hard, nothing is ever too much trouble, and he was genuinely committed to handing over a beautiful home to us.

A big thank you as well to Nick, who has been brilliant over the last week, sorting our snagging list quickly and professionally.

We’re so happy with our new home and can’t wait to make lots of memories here. Thank you.

Me and my partner have just reserved our first home. After visiting multiple sites, it became clear to us that Castle Green were by far our favoured developer.

Both the location and service were absolutely faultless and we cannot wait to start our next chapter.

Your team have been very supportive throughout the process including sorting out any snagging straightaway.
The only small negative was the timeline to contract handover where there was a delay on the build. This was not communicated well, and could of been handled better

From the moment we fell in love with the development in January this year to moving into our new home last week, our Castle Green experience has been nothing but exceptional. Rhianna oversaw our purchase through from start to finish. She was friendly, informative, enthusiastic and tenacious with chasing our estate agents to help get the sale of our previous property over the line, despite us having very difficult buyers - we couldn't have been more pleased to have her on our 'team'! Pam was also a delight to liaise with towards the end of our purchase journey too!

We were kept in the loop with every update during the process and when we finally got to see our new home we were overjoyed with the standard of the finishings from Castle Green. Since moving in, Goff and the rest of the site team have gone over and above to ensure we have everything we need whilst settling in, and are always available to answer any questions!

From start to now, absolutely top class company, service and best of all… people. The house is lovely, the service is professional and the people are just wonderful human beings. Communication is excellent and products are high quality.

This is the very worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

I had commission a professional Snagging report when I moved in (Aug 2025) which identified over 75 pages worth of defects.

They were sent to the company and they started some remedial work to try and rectify the issues. Much of the work they completed was sub standard at best and a lot of the items on the list were simply marked as completed and they never even touched them.

Subsequently they damaged my car and property and I submitted a formal complaint. They made a load of promises and to date have not fulfilled most of them (as of February). I have been in this house 11 months and the aftercare is a disgrace.

This company only wants your money and if you do have issues they do not bother to sort them to a reasonable standard. I submitted a letter to them nearly 3 weeks ago which still hasn’t been responded to yet.

I would think long and hard before choosing this company. Once they have your money, you are no longer their priority.

I have initiated legal action through my home insurance legal cover.

We can’t recommend Sally at Castle Green highly enough. She has been incredibly helpful throughout our house purchase and has made what can be a stressful process feel much more manageable.

From the very beginning, Sally has been friendly, professional and always happy to answer our questions. She has kept us updated every step of the way and given us plenty of advice helping to make decisions much easier. (Especially when trying to pick our choices!)

Helpful agent and easy access to all but one property

I purchased my property with Castle Green Homes in March 2026, and the entire experience has been incredibly smooth from start to finish. The team guided me through every stage of the process with professionalism and genuine care, making what could have been a stressful journey feel effortless.

Even after moving in, the support has continued. The Customer Care team has been outstanding, especially Hannah Greenfield, the Customer Care Manager. She has been brilliant at what she does — always prompt, always helpful, and consistently going above and beyond to assist with any queries or issues we’ve had. Her dedication and responsiveness have made a huge difference.

I strongly recommend Castle Green Homes. They truly are one of the best, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent.

Overall, we are happy with our new Castle Green home, but the process of getting here was far from straightforward.
Our original move-in date was expected to be the end of May, then it was pushed back to June, and we eventually moved in during July because the property wasn't ready. While delays can happen, it was frustrating to have the date changed multiple times.
I do want to mention that Laura was always lovely, helpful, and kept us updated throughout the process, which we really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the move-in day itself wasn't the experience we had been looking forward to. We were told what time to arrive, but when we got there there was still a large group of cleaners inside the house. We ended up waiting outside for around 30 minutes in 32-degree heat. The cleaners also seemed quite disorganised, so it certainly wasn't the exciting "turn the key and move in" moment we had imagined.
There have also been a few issues since moving in. We were told the grass would be laid before we moved in, but it still hasn't been done. I understand the hot weather may have delayed this, but having what is essentially a mud patch instead of a garden has been difficult, especially as we have a dog.
We were also advised that the oven would be replaced because it had a dent in it. This hadn't been done before move-in and had to be changed the following day. There are a few other finishing touches around the property that aren't quite up to the standard we expected, although I appreciate that some snagging issues are common with new-build homes.
Finally, we were told that the front of the house and driveway would be pressure washed last week as they are incredibly dusty, but we've not heard anything further about this.
Despite the issues, we are happy with the house itself and can see its potential. However, the overall move-in process and communication around outstanding jobs could have been much better.

From the very beginning, Hillary and Kristen have been absolutely amazing. What started as a dream of owning our forever Castle green home is now becoming a reality, and we couldn't be more grateful for all their support.
They have kept in regular contact throughout the entire process, explaining every step clearly and making sure we always knew what was happening. No question has ever been considered silly, they've always been at the end of the phone, happy to answer anything and put our minds at ease.
Their professionalism, patience, and genuine care have made what could have been a stressful experience feel so much more manageable. We can't thank them enough for everything they've done so far and look forward to continuing the journey with them as we complete the purchase of our forever home.
