Unreasonable fees at the end!
Car rental for 2 weeks was ok, car was basic but good quality, 90,000 on the clock so well used by then.
Despite delays at pick up and an unnecessarily complex “shuttle” to off site parking the experience was over all nice.
Until I had to drop the car off at the airport.
They make you drop your things at the airport first then bring the car back to them so they can shuttle one person back in the same car!
You pay for the parking and fuel cost, not to mention the inconvenience of having to leave my wife with all luggage and 2 yr old daughter.
When I handed over the keys unreasonable questions were asked about two scratches on the car which were clearly on Cath Car’s own video at the start of the rental… ok another 10 mins wasted proving to them that their own video showed the scratches clearly.
Then the insult, 600 MUR (EUR 12) per bar of fuel that the Cath Car contact used!
600 MUR per bar for a car that you can fill completely with 2,000 MUR from empty.
600 MUR per bar which I did not even use!
It’s not about the money but the service will shock you at the end, be aware.
