Celinos Reviews 

We made a reservation and when we arrived to a half full restaurant were given the worst table in the place. Before we sat down we were told that we would need to vacate the table in less than 90 minutes and almost before we sat down were asked for our order. After ordering our food arrived - hot and tasty and then we were ignored. It appeared that no waiter staff were assigned to our table. We asked for the gelato selection and had menus eventually almost thrown at us - we then made the mistake of reading the menu and not understanding that the other location of Celino's had the interesting ice cream selections. The manager pointed out our mistake loudly. We paid our bill - had the opportunity to discuss the purpose of a tip with my granddaughter (left 1 GBP) and went next door to Tesco for an ice cream pop to go.

Best place I have ever been in in my 56 years of life. me and my husband Jackson went here after a short drive and our boys tennis tournament. staff were great and food was delicious.

Us: "Do you have a table for two people - just for cake and coffee?"
Tall Waiter: "You need to be away in 1 hour - is it for breakfast?"
"We won’t be here that long..."
Then he nonchalantly hurried to a table in a narrow space and abruptly disappeared. We waited and another girl took our order who wasn’t hospitable either. On leaving, the original waiter had wrongly charged us for 2 breakfasts, my cake and coffee - but we had only had one breakfast. We then proceeded to go back into the shop, but couldn’t see our waiter, as he had conveniently disappeared! I made it known to another waiter - he apologised and refunded the overpayment. The breakfast was awful, tasteless and the service was abominable - they also sprayed their cleaning liquids near our food while were still eating!

Also, on a previous occasion, myself, my son and their family arrived from London (a month ago), and as soon as my son asked for a table, someone immediately started waving his hands wildly, saying "no!". Apparently, they were no longer serving any food - despite the fact that they said they were open till late and it had only just gone 10pm. My son was so disappointed but nevertheless, bought some cakes from the deli. These staff do not care and needless to say, it's apparent, in the tasteless food which is neither made with care nor love! It's a shame, as aesthetically, the place looks good, but the staff are ruining the customer experience and bringing the place down - it just takes one bad apple to do that in any company! And this isn't the first time, hence why I decided I had to write a review which I have actually never done before, as I like to give people a chance but feel my silence does not help them improve.
Needless to say, I won’t be eating in there ever again and shall also warn my friends - incredibly disappointing!
