This review is left for Gordon Fenton … I actually got sent the incorrect Monin pump along with my order - but have been reassured and offered a replacement asap… Gordon has been very helpful and I trust that this will be resolved- quickly.

Just ordered and paid for some…

Just ordered and paid for some chocolate chips online and then as soon as I placed the order realised I had forgotten to include cocoa powder. I telephoned immediately to ask if could add to the order and thus avoid a second expensive Saturday delivery charge. Not possible I was told. Really? Unbelievable! Even if the original order could not be altered, I would have thought that it could have been cancelled giving me the opportunity to then place a revised order to include the cocoa. Seemingly not. I won't be using CFW again.

I wish I'd found CFW sooner

I had my first order delivered 3 days ago. Unfortunately DPD tossed my order about resulting in a box wide open and 5kg bars of chocolate burst open and smashed to bits. CFW have been amazing at resolving this and my replacements arrived today intact. I honestly can't thank Gordon enough who kept me up to date with everything and dealt with the issue professionally.

Its not about the issues its about how they are handled

Ordered a chocolate Melter on the 10th December 2025 that said in highlighted text "Order for next day dispatch"- heard nothing for a week and chased it up and got told it hadn't been dispatched yet plus it was being dispatched from Italy and I wouldn't receive it until the 6th Jan - so I said cancel please and refund and they said I cant as its been dispatched (this was within about 30 mins of being told it hadn't been dispatched)
Response To CFW Response - I am glad that is now sorted finally and appreciate the full refund- in business its tough and its never about the mistakes or misunderstandings, its about how they are dealt with, its was a slow start but mutually agreeable solution - Thanks

The chocolate melter ordered was a special order item, supplied directly from the manufacturer rather than held in stock. This is noted on the product page, as special order equipment is not dispatched on next-day timelines. The dispatch countdown shown on our website is a global feature and applies to items that are in stock.

In this instance, the special order status was not clearly reiterated in the order confirmation email, which led to understandable confusion around dispatch and delivery expectations. We agree this should have been clearer after the order was placed.

Following your contact with us, the order has been cancelled in full and a complete refund has been processed. We have also corrected the product setup so the special order information is now clearly reflected in order confirmations going forward.

We regret the frustration caused and thank you for raising this with us.

YES THEY MIGHT BE CHEAP BUT ONLY ORDER IF YOURE READY FOR A HEADACHE

They’re cheap for a reason. Ordered from Nisbets and never encountered any issues with any of my products. Their customer service is poor and the advisors have more time going back and forth being keyboard warriors instead of dealing with my request. First and last time ordering from them. Ordered White Chocolate sauces which I use for my business and been advised to microwave them as they separate whilst in the warehouse. Joke.

Regarding the white chocolate sauce: like many sauces, some separation can occasionally occur with temperature changes during storage, and in most cases it’s resolved with a thorough shake before use (similar to how you’d shake a bottle of ketchup before pouring). If it’s being stubborn, it may also need gentle warming to help it return to the preferred consistency.

It’s also worth noting that if the separated liquid is poured off before mixing back in, you can be left with a much thicker product that won’t loosen properly again — the separated liquid needs to be reincorporated.

Warehouse error - no compensation.

Unfortunately, CFW sent me the incorrect item, which resulted in the loss of a £400 customer. I had ordered white chocolate melts, but instead received milk chocolate. While I understand that mistakes can happen, this error had serious consequences for my business. The booking was for the following day, and the client specifically requested a white chocolate fountain to match their event aesthetics. They chose to cancel the service entirely when the correct product wasn’t available.

When I called to resolve the issue, I was informed that the replacement wouldn’t arrive until Monday, which was too late for the Saturday event. Additionally, I have not yet received a refund for the delivery charge, which I am entitled to, as the item delivered was incorrect.

Unfortunately, your call came through late Friday afternoon, by which time the courier had already completed their collection run. This meant there was no way for us to arrange a Saturday delivery—even though, had the timing allowed, we would have absolutely paid extra and done everything possible to get the correct item to you in time.

– A replacement, with the incorrect item collected and swapped
– A full refund, once we collect the incorrect item
– Or a partial refund, if you prefer to keep the incorrect product

I bought a large chocolate fountain with sneeze guard last summer for a party. No probs with payment, delivery came quickly, it was fast to set up and easy to operate and to clean up. It was a massive hit with the guests and especially the kids. Couldn't ask for more.
