We used Chadwick Lawrence when settling our help to buy lone. Process was made a lot easier with the use of their online portal, communication was consistent. Ben was friendly, efficient and kept us updated throughout.

Just 1st class - end of. Megan C was friendly and efficient and did exactly what we wanted in a very good time frame. She was dealing with Help To Buy who are dire whose delays over 2 years cost us £30k but she got it sorted. Great!

I’ve found my experience with this firm to be quite frustrating so far. Communication has been very ineffective and unclear at times, resulting in multiple emails back and forth, and I’ve often had to chase for updates. As the seller, I’ve also been receiving grieves and negative feedback consistently from others involved in the transactions about the conveyancer, which has been difficult to manage.

I appreciate conveyancing can be complex, but as the target completion date keeps getting amended and pushed back as a whole, a more proactive and timely effective communication would make a significant difference. I hope the process progresses more smoothly from here.

Update: I appreciate the improved experience and practice towards the end, probably due to complaints/concerns raised. Pleased to have completed now.

My experience was fantastic from start to finish and i would highly recommended their services. A very professional and courteous service especially from Lynda Harland who was very informative the whole way through the process.

At the beginning I was assigned to a case handler that was quite slow but then Nafeesa stepped up and we moved quite quick to the completion period. Happy with the end results and support received.

I was recommended to SAM CONVEYANCING and wish I had read the reviews beforehand. My experience buying a house with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. I’ve faced constant delays, poor communication, and have often been left completely in the dark at crucial stages. Meanwhile, I was under serious pressure with the seller close to pulling out, and instead of being proactive, they made everything feel last-minute and disorganised. Even getting clear instructions or timely updates was a struggle.

Huge thanks to Sue Parkin, who stepped in and completed nearly all the work for me in a day. I’ll forever be grateful for her help.

All good - straight forward communications, instructions, and service. All completed in a timely fashion. Would use again.

Ehren advised on Deed of Assigment which was a better solution for me for my matter. Work was carried out to my timelines and costs were reasonable.

AVOID at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would.
Purchased my first house and used Chadwick Lawrence in particular Conveyancer Zoe H. Not the cheapest quote but went for them due to the so called awards for service. Now, after completion I’m receiving a fine from HMRC because they haven’t filled out the land transaction return (or even advised me what this is). I wasn’t going to leave a review because I was just glad I finally got my house but I’ve now had enough.

To summarise all issues with Zoe / Chadwick Lawrence
- poor / non existent communication
- rude and threatening emails
- charged more than quoted which in the end just paid because I was stressed enough.
- still not received money owed for cash back offer.

As previously said, save yourself time money and stress and go elsewhere!

It's an amazing company with fast and clear service from the beginning to the end. The website is well constructed with many questions answered in details for me to learn about deeds and transfers. Discussion is very useful with Ehren over the phone and email to resolve any issue. Katie is outstanding in communication too. Highly recommended.
