The EV charger installation was an excellent experience from start to finish. @Ashley Cross communicated proactively, informing us well in advance of the expected arrival time, which was very helpful.
On the day, she was highly professional, approachable, and friendly. The main electrical box was located behind the media wall, making access particularly challenging. Despite this, she remained patient and focused throughout the process.
The installation was completed with great care and precision. The drilling and fitting were carried out neatly, with clear attention to detail, and the overall finish was very tidy. It was evident that she takes pride in her work.
What stood out most was her positive attitude, handling a technically challenging installation with confidence and a smile throughout.
Overall, a high-quality service delivered with professionalism and excellent workmanship.

Appaulling service. the company didn't come out on the day scheduled. I had to liaise with car provider to get it sorted as I had no communication from them. On the 2nd install attempt the company turned up with no charger claiming it should have been sent to me in advance. We are still waiting on our charger and have had our car for over 6 weeks. Would not recommend

The installer (Ashley Cross) was brilliant and gave good advice on the best place for the installation. She did a great job in installing, kept the area tidy, and made repairs to the brickwork where the drilling had caused some minor damage. She went through the app and helped with installing it. All round a great service. Thank you.

I originally purchased a bundle deal from Scottish Power for a new charger and a good 5p per kwh tariff. Their Easee bundle.
They sub the installation out to Chargedev.
I followed the process between the two companies which required completing a survey and uploading photos etc.
After that it was a world of pain.
I let things be for a couple of days but had no communication with Chargedev or Scottish Power.
I then went through various calls on the ChargedEV system waiting and waiting. Trying other numbers on their automated direction phone system which got me through to speak to someone who said they would get the scheduling team to call.
The call never came. I contacted Scottish Power to complain who also tried to get through but also failed to make contact as permanently in a queue.
After two weeks of getting no where I asked for a full refund from Scottish Power which they refunded for me.
Really can't understand why this company has such a high Trust pilot score as my dealings with ChargedEV was disgusting.
Terrible company.
Would not recommend at all.

Long wait for charger to be installed. Booked in February but no availability until May. The week before it was finally due it was changed without my knowledge and no one letting me know. Trying to get through to the company to sort this was awful. Waiting 30 minutes in queue then cut off, several times this happened. I finally got a new date arranged and I had taken an extra day off work to accommodate this and was then phoned 2 days before to say it was cancelled! After asking for call back from the company which never happened I finally spoke with the person who works in ‘complaints’ and got a 3rd date arranged after waiting from February. This date meant my husband had to take an unpaid leave day from work, which is financially difficult for us. I had provided several dates that I could do which they said they would call me to switch too and never did. No apologies, no effort to rectify any of this. Living Scotland seemed to be a big issue for them and I found that offensive, like it was the other end of the world.
One positive my husband found the engineer who eventually fitted it was very good and made a nice job of fitting the charger.

The electricians were very punctual and professional. The job was done as expected to a high standard. Tidy, without leaving any mess.

Very helpful and informative service all round. The installer (David) did a great job.

Installation was completed quick and technician explain step by step everything about the charger

Easy to book. Kept informed through the booking to confirm install date. Electrician onsite all morning. New consumer unit and discretely routed cable - little of the cable visible on outside front of property helping to minimise the visual impact. Cleaned up well. Thanks

Aron was excellent. Communication regarding delivery of the charger could've been from the company.

I had to wait for the DNO to authorise my charger installation due to having a looped supply. This has now been done so I contacted Chargedev to arrange an installation date. The lady I spoke to said she couldn’t do anything because the person dealing with my installation was off. So instead she asked me to forward the authorisation email from the DNO and she’d call me back to try and arrange installation.
I’m still waiting for said phone call.
I just don’t understand why I can only deal with one person.
Update 02/06/26. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse!!
ChargedEV contracted my installation to another company and was due to be installed tomorrow. This has now been cancelled due to ChargedEV unsharing the work and have given it to yet another company. I now have to wait another 2 more weeks before this new company can install the charger.
ChargedEV is a complete shambles of a company!

I took a day of work ,prepared all the areas as asked, was called late in the afternoon to be told engineer would be with me in half an hour,but only for a partial install!!. When the van pulled up they sat outside for 10 mins then drove off!!!! Now waiting to hear from them....stay tuned!

Superb service. My installer Reece was exceptional. Polite, professional and installed the charger and cable very neatly. Highly recommend

after taking around 3 weeks to get hold of someone on the phone from this company and getting a installation date had to wait 6 weeks for the date to com round to be told that we are sorry we have to cancel because the installer was no longer with the business, then after calling the contact number that messaged me the day before the installation they told me they dont know why this was cancelled.

After trying multiple times to get hold of chargedEV to find out when i can next book i have not be able to get hold of anyone.

Excellent service, install was faultless and professionally fitted can't fault them .

It was a good experience, from registering, getting the confirmation call and having the charger installed. Thanks to Ashley Cross for a good installation and for explaining me how the charger works.

Great chap, very efficient and professional. As a first user, he helped me understand how to use it, and answered every question.

I never even managed to get a charger installed by this company. After arranging working-from-home hours to attend a scheduled virtual home survey, the agent failed to show up. I rescheduled, completed the survey, and accepted their subsequent quotation they provided .
My file was then passed to their "scheduling team," who ultimately scheduled nothing at all. Despite my repeated calls over a six-week period, customer service continually claimed the job was sitting with the scheduling department but never provided an installation date. Even threatening to escalate the matter to their complaints team yielded zero progress. Avoid this company if you value your time and money.
PS how they managed to have such high review on Trustpilot is a complete mystery to me, they simply must be using Bots, please AVOID AVOID AVOID

We had our charger installed by Ross Bowden which went really well. The communication before the install was great so we knew when he would arrive. Work carried out really neatly and we are thoroughly pleased with the end result. Highly recommended
