They just randomly banned me with no explanation

A bad place to spend quality time, there are a handful of legit users and a bunch of scammers. It's the perfect playground for them, as soon as you log on there's a couple bots inviting you to scam websites. And then there is the African scammer with his desire to take you out of that site. They prefer Google chat, sometimes Skype or Telegram. I've reported hundreds of them in two weeks, nothing happened and more than that moderators such as Absolute Bi..
tch?!? deserve their chosen name... She's picking on legit users calling them fakes just because roommate and I are sharing a Wi-Fi network.
No wonder people are leaving...

Mods like Summer keep making false, vague, or otherwise bogus warnings for non-existent rules (and/or violations) while neglecting reports of scammers, pedos, minors and _actual_ rulebreakers. I've made multiple complaints against multiple mods for such incompetence using Chat-Avenue's feedback form, but it chooses to do nothing about their incompetent volunteer moderation teams.

Maybe if Chat-Avenue used its ad revenue to hire competent staff, maybe then mods would be motivated to do the job correctly (and with a level of professionalism absent from the current volunteer force).

site has a history of being a chat site that was okay if your bored. everything seemed to change lately and chatters have gotten darker.

Bored so I log on to chat, someone comes on who instantly gets creepy. I reported them to moderators after the person admitted to illegal activity. I got banned for reporting the guy? What??

I tried the site. I went to the Singles chat room and immediately stepped in a pile of human feces. Apparently the mods have a problem with some user named Hannah Faye who likes to defecate on the main floor of the roo
and no one's quick enough to spot her doing it so she cant be apprehended. She's being compared to the elusive criminal known simply as "The Dinner-Time Bandit".

Well... I've been going to Gen Chat for 1 year was a Moderator ( laughable ) You have to be part of the " clique " to keep that spot . Way to many pedofiles & scammers not to mention porn BOTS ( they can't control them ) . Im really stuck on the # of members suppose to be in that room I mean 400+ most of the time ? Give me a break . If there was even close to that amount you wouldnt be able to read what was being posted . For a 13+ Chat Room it's NOT good for children to be in there but , I suppose it's all about the franklins . If you want constant chaos and total round the clock BS then Gen Chat is the place to hang out but , watch out You can't always say what others say and I'll leave you to come to your own conclusion as to what I mean . Remember "IGNORE" is the best Mod . Yeah lets NOT handle the real issue lets just toss a bandaid over it and move on .
