I THOUGHT MY FLIGHT HAD BEEN CANCELED AND I CALLED IN A PANIC. TED HELPED ME QUICKLY AND EASILY AND HELPED CALM ME AND MY FEARS WERE RELIEVED. I APPRECIATE HIS HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.

If I could rate this company a zero star I would. They are completely fraudulent. They sell you the flight at a posted fee, so you think you are booked on a flight for a certain amount, but then they email you saying that they need to speak with you urgently. I got the email the next day after I had already passed up fares that were just slightly higher than the website advertised. When they spoke to me they tried to convince me that I had to pay more money for the same flight because they no longer had that classification available- the one I had already booked with them. Which is a lie, they also tell you that The classification that you booked doesn’t allow any carry-ons or luggage only a personal item. Another lie. My flight was supposed to go through Delta, but I am a member of Delta and know that you do get a carry-on in the classification I purchased, and that they did still have tickets available. So I ended up going back to Delta directly and booking the same flight. But because by then the tickets had gone up slightly I ended up paying about $20 more than I would have if I would’ve booked with them originally. It was still 150 less than they tried to get me to pay on the phone! Cheapbestfares is completely dishonest. Do not book with them.

Cheapbestfares are fasely advertising and therefore scamming Customers. They say in "small letters" you will receive a call after you do a reservation with an unbelievable fare in which you have to enter your payment method, but once they call you they say that you chose the economic fare which is not available anymore (that happened to me twice since I made changes in my trip plans due to the fare difference). So I made the reservation for $115 and when they called back the only option was to buy a ticket 4 times the original price ($450), which was much more than buying directly from the airline or from a recognized page like expedia. Of course I cancelled all reservations with them and obtained tickets with expedia at $233!! Can you imagine??. Cheapbestfared is doing business with the intention to deceive, confuse and take advantage of people. This has been my worst experience with any traveling company...additionally they don't speak english very well, hard to understand. Please don't buy in strange pages since their reviews are fake as well. Fraudulent page! I gave them 1 star because is not allowed to give 0,

This site is purely misleading and scamming people to believe that they can buy cheaper airflights. But then again they will lie and tell you through their email that they try to contact you on your phone and can’t get hold of you. That’s why they are sending you an email to contact them regarding your reservation. Once you contact them, they will let you know that your reservation is not available and they have different price of it. The Indian accent guy I talked to tried to justify their false advertisement. He tried to explain that I am still saving money because the original price will be much more higher. Exactly the reasons why I purchased the ticket. Tsk.. tsk… tsk… This site shouldn’t be tolerated and needs to be reported. It wasted a day of my time of which I can buy another airline tickets to an honest site.

Bait and switch. This site offers low price just to have it go up next day because tickets offered “are no longer available”.

Cheapbestfares is a bait and switch scam! I got a price of $416.20 from cheapbestfares for a round trip domestic flight in order to take my first vacation with 5 grandkids in several years. I put in all my information and thought I had booked my flights. Online it said it was processing.... However the very next morning I started getting phone calls (and 3 "urgent" emails) from cheapbestfares regarding my booking. It did not say anything else. When I called back I was talking to a male with a very heavy India accent. He told me my flights were booked in basic economy but there were no seats available in basic economy and that I would have to pay over $700 to book this now. I said "No, this is a scam" and I hung up. I have not heard back in any way. The flight has not been charged to my credit card yet. The saddest thing is that, due to my poor health (diabetes, chronic kidney disease, congestive heart failure) and my advanced age, I will not ever have another chance to vacation with my grandkids.

Used the site for the first time. Listed price for our flights were great and we booked. However, I got an “urgent” email overnight from “Mickey” saying they had been trying to reach me to discuss my flight. While at work the next day I received multiple calls and finally had time to answer. My flights were “no longer available at that price” and Jose immediately went on to list “new” flights - interestingly at the same times.
No reason was given for why my flights - which I booked and signed for - were no longer available at the agreed upon price. My new flights totaled $450 more than the original price. I agreed to the new price because they were direct flights and still cheaper than others we were finding but still… probably got scammed out of $450. I’ve seen some other “bait and switch” reviews here and wish I was wary of this during the process. If you’re reading this, proceed with caution.
And just to be clear. I do not know for sure if I was scammed. The flights I originally booked really may not have been available at the price any longer. But the whole process was more than a bit fishy.

Alex the agent I spoke with helped me thoroughly and addressed any and all concerns. I never used a third party site outside of Travelocity, Kayak etc... and sort of felt weird doing so, but Alex was patient with me no matter what I called back for.

Not only is cheapbestfares a scam and a bait and switch but after posting a bad reviews they call you and offer to give you the agreed upon price if you take down your review. Then after you say you will take down your review they ask for more money and for a good review. When asked for it in writing with a confirmation that can be checked with the airlines it doesn't happen!!!

Me: Unless you live up to your end of the contract and send me an email so I can verify with Delta that you are not trying to decieve again then we have nothing to say to you.

Call your bank and credit card company to make sure they are aware of the scam. You will have some protection through them.

I'm pretty sure this is my first time buying an airline ticket from this company and this is a very important trip for me. When I first got on the site I was surprised at how affordable the flights were. I had some trouble solidifying my itinerary and I gave up. It was late at night and I was exhausted from work.

In the morning I got a call from 'Cheapflights' representative, Danny! I was still a little frustrated and crabby about it but Danny did not change his friendly and calm demeanor. He was so kind and patient with me and he changed my whole mood to a positive one. He already the details of the flights I was trying to book and I let him know I had a meeting in a few minutes so he got the necessary info he needed to assist me while I was busy and informed me that he would be working on it for me. He did exactly that! He let me know what to expect next in the process and it happened just like he said it would! I was elated! Thank you Danny!!! You are my forever travel guide. Highly recommend this company and my new buddy Danny!
