Purchasing from Australia, I was a bit skeptical initially, purchasing through ETSY... But seeing the feedback and reviews helped my purchasing comfort.

Service was amazing, the delivery was packaged like my set was being sent to a king, VERY padded and secure.
Really appreciate the opportunity to secure exactly what I was hoping for, a chess set for all to use, that will well and truly be a genuine centre piece to our family lounge room. THANK YOU

Came from Australia to India where there HQ is. I’m a huge chess enthusiast walked into the store and the treated me extremely well, even as a foreigner he did not try to boost up the price and was extremely fair. We had a few issues with payment from my end, he was extremely patient with good temperament and extremely professional. Great store, not sure why the previous bad reviews they treated me excellently

I contacted them via WhatsApp before coming to India and scheduled a visit. I was there today and had a pleasant instructive chat with Puneet Malhotra, who patiently showed me many sets of gorgeous design of different standards. The only drawback was that I couldn't buy more than one set due to limited luggage space and several long-haul business trips ahead before reaching my home in Brazil. I bought a Queen Head Bridled Knight series,the queen has a double crown, as well as a DGT Chess Clock 3000 limited series. They carefully packed the set; definitely this was not my last visit; I'll Be Back!

We visited chessncraft in person couple of weeks ago. Though the store was hard to locate, but we were very pleased with the variety of chess boards and pieces that were available there. We very presented a lot of options, and owner helped us understand the history behind the design. Our chess board and pieces were excellently packed that stayed in tact during our long international flight. Great place, helpful owner, would definitely recommend.

I ordered a chess set from you via Etsy and you shipped the wrong one. I ordered a 4.5" Luxury Staunton Chess Pieces Set in Bud Rose wood & Ebonywood- WELLINGTON Triple Weighted but I received a cheap Boxwood and painted ebony Boxwood. In addition there were missing pieces 1 pawn, 1 rook and 1 queen and one of the queens were damages, therefore I want a full refund of the chess set as well as the chess board I purchased and you never shipped.

I filed a complaint with Etsy for the refusal to refund the money for the chess pieces as well as the chess board. My credit card company has been notified and I'm disputing the purchases of both transactions, the chess board and the chess pieces.

I bought, via Paypal, a "luxury" backgammon set for $165 from Chessncrafts for what I thought would be a very special gift. The set that arrived was pitiful - the wooden casing was very poor quality, the playing pieces had sharp edges that would cut you, you could barely see the numbers on the dice and most importantly it did not lie flat so you could not have used it if you had wanted to! When I contacted Chessncrafts they said that this marked contrast from their photos on line was usual because the product was hand made and there was bound to be some variation. They said they would not give me a refund. I sent photos of the set to Paypal who assessed the situation. They agreed that the set was not fit for purpose, said I should send it back and instructed the company to refund my money on its receipt. I sent the faulty game back by tracked delivery but it was never collected from their local post depot in India. The enquiry was then timed out by Paypal and they could no longer insist on the refund through them. They advised me to contact Chessncrafts directly again for the refund as they had admitted that the set was faulty and they could see that from the tracked delivery notices that I had returned it to the address they gave me. Sadly they never returned my messages. My experience of dealing with this company has been horrific - I have wasted so much time and energy trying to communicate with them and have lost my $165 plus the price of the return postage to India. I strongly recommend that you avoid purchasing anything from Chessncrafts.
