Great staff, well informed, polite and supportive in their advice. Some great gear in there too and reasonably priced and on site parking, which was nice.

First class service from Chevin Cycles Otley. Collected a new Domane + SLR6. Perfect service from first visit to enquire, second visit to order and third visit to collect Ian, Sanjay and the rest of the Otley Team could not have been more friendly, helpful and thorough. highly recommend them for everything cycling .

Sanjay and his team have all of these in abundance . I’ve been going to these guys for 5 years and have to say they have never let me down.

Took my sons bike in for a repair/service in May 2025, but the due to the age of the bike, an issue presented itself again 2 months later.
Dropped into the workshop at short notice, staff very helpful and accommodating and carried out another repair free of charge with some advice too.
Top class service from the team!

I have just purchased a new e- bike when i called in i wasn't sure. But talking to the really helpful staff they answered all my questions and I felt fully reassured and purchased the bike which I have to say was a a much lower price than the other bike shops in North Yorkshire

Chris the mechanic at the Harrogate store has sorted a nightmare hydraulic issue out on my road bike which was driving me round the bend. The bike nearly ended up in the skip on a few occasions. Chris saved the day. Top man 👍

Thank you to Charlie at your Harrogate store for helping me choose a tyre pump, fitting it to my dog pram for me and making sure the tyres were properly inflated. Charlie was extremely helpful and polite and saved the day for us. The pram has never been easier to push.

This is when you're glad you used a local retailer! Bought some Zipp wheels and have had problems with them - Chevin Harrogate have really been so good - they've sent them back, got them replaced, refitted them and all with a smile and all at no cost to me - if Id bought on line it would have been a nightmare. I can’t recommend chevin cycles otley enough. They’re the best in the business and I’ve had dealing with quite a few bike shops over the years both locally and across the uk. The entire team are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, welcoming and patient. Kudos goes specifically to local legend Paul in the workshop. Rare you get such great customer service and a bloody nice bloke as well!

I recently bought a Trek Domane SL6 from Chevin Cycles Harrogate.
The Staff:
The staff were really knowledgeable and helpful and always gave me a warm welcome when I entered the shop.
I was concerned about checking and topping up the tubeless tyre fluid.
However, Sanjai said that they would show me how to do it when it was due.
There were no hard sell and I liked that I could hire a bike for the day to see what it was like. The price of the hire was then deducted from the price of the new bike.
The bike:
It was lot more money than I originally planned on spending. But it was worth it as it makes cycling so much easier and enjoyable. The one issue I, and other Domane owners have, is that the little rubber frame plugs drop out too easily. I purchased a supply of replacements from Trek.

I’ve been unlucky twice this year with broken rear mech cables, but lucky in that they both happened near Chevin cycles, who sorted me out on each occasion. Brilliant service: highly recommended!

I was recommended to otley branch by a friend the experience from the start was excellent we were buying two bikes and Philip put us at ease as there are so many electric bikes to choose from he advised us what would be best for our needs Philip let us test ride the bikes to make sure they were right for us he went through all the aspects of the bikes at no time did we feel under pressure from the start to the handover a big thanks to all the team at otley we will definitely go back again thanks paul & jane starkey

I'm writing this as I'll be leaving you a bad review on social media, I've taken my LinkedIn to skipton chevin cycles at 9.30am and it had a gold service for £75 then I said if there any issues ring me, next thing I know I get a text a hour later to say it's done, when I picked it up I was told it needed a new set gear cog plates at rear, I asked why it couldn't be done same day but he was too busy, I was sent away with no information told rebook it in, I've wasted 75 pounds on a gold service and left with a broken damaged bike I'm due go away in holiday next week it needed sorted, then I rang otley he was useless too had no idea when it could be done or how long it's a disgusting service your running I'll be putting in a small claim for the 75 pounds and reporting it to as many as I can, my boardman will not be going into your shops again. Mr finch

From start to finish the experience was superb. I was recommended to go to Chevin cycles by many others and went to the Skipton branch.I was looked after by Russell and bought the bike because of his experience,knowledge and customer service.I picked up the bike from Matthew and again it couldn't have gone any smoother,helping me with accessories I wanted to purchase. Will definitely be recommending and purchasing again from here.

Mark and Freya at Chevin Cycles Skipton - what a great team (chevincycles.com). From the initial advice I needed, the routine updates I got whilst the supply chain got its act together to the attention to detail i received when I went to collect my new cycle was reassuring and comprehensive.

Could not have asked for more in terms of sales support. And the collection of quality bikes available is nothing to be sniffed at either.

Just picked up a new Haibike E-bike from the Otley branch. Have to say I was very impressed with the level of customer service the guys showed us. Information at handover was clear and useful. Quick and hassle free transaction from start to finish. Will Use again. 100% recommend.

Philip B @ the Otley store was superb when I went to pick up my new Trek Domane SL5. He spent proper time educating me on the bike and sizing the saddle. He also had great tips on tyre pressure, maintenance and servicing. Would highly recommend.

Bought a new Orbea Electric road bike on the very helpful advice of the staff in Skipton who guided me through all the options. They really have an indepth knowledge of all things bike and I am very happy with what was for me a huge decision

Knowledgeable, thoughtful and friendly. A good cycling shop. I've never had any problem with them.

Just purchase a new Trek Domane 5 AL, called in on bank holiday Monday and got great advice from Ian and the Scottish lad ( soz didn't catch your name) made sure I got the right size and searched high and low to find said size. Great service and knowledge
