I'm going to tell you that I am completely dissatisfied about purchasing a chicken coop from the chicken coop company. I figured they are located in Utah, I live in Utah, I'll help a small business, but when a small business delivers a product that is not superior, and overprices it, yes, definitely not impressed

The first month was great, but after that, it started to deteriorate, I have loose boards, the screws to the hinges on the windows are not secure, and the metal piece that holds the bar to the door, has been not effective. In addition, the door does not fly as good as it should.

Really come up with this comes time to, is, this is not made in America, these coops are made overseas with cheap material, and then piece together being shown that it's made in America. This coop is not American craftsmanship.

If I could get my money back, I would take my money back, but now it is a complete loss. In addition, when they say that the XL coupe can't hold 10+ chickens, probably 10+ baby chickens. I would say that all of the coops sold by this company or better for brooding that actually holding chickens.

I will never buy from this company again, and I recommend that you do the same.

We absolutely LOVE our coop! We purchased the XL Rhode Island Red coop last fall. With the harsher than normal winter we had, the plastic tray cracked and ultimately failed, but the company went above and beyond by sending us a replacement metal tray! Best customer service ever! We and our flock are very pleased with the quality and care provided and would definitely buy from the Chicken Coop Company again!!

My experience with the Orpington Lodge. I am impressed by the company and their willingness to fix their product. My tray for the bottom of the coop rotted out after less than a year. I wrote the company snd they immediately sent me a new one. Anytime a company responds like that I am impressed that they want to keep their customers happy. That speaks volumes to me. I give the chicken coop company two thumbs up!

The coop came well packaged. It was easy to put together and only had a couple of minor dings from shipment, easily repaired. I finished it with waterproof stain (as directed in instructions) for more weatherproofing. The coop and run is perfect for my 3 larger hens. They stay high and dry in the sleeping area and always have laid in the nest boxes :-) I mounted it on 4x4 with hardware cloth underneath for predator protection. I also added some side winter panels for snow and wind protection in the winter. It's an adorable coop and I love it! A very nice company to deal with as they are prompt on email if you have questions.

Honestly, never disappointed with the food here. 10/10!

We bought the Rhode Island XL Coop and had some problems with it. I asked for three replacement parts and let them know of the problem areas on other parts, and they asked for photos. After sending the pictures of the parts we wanted replacements for and also pictures of the other problem areas, I received an email saying thank you and nothing more. I wrote back asking about the replacement parts and asked what their company had to say about the quality issues on the other areas but haven’t received a reply in three days although they were quick to reply every other time. On their website, they boast about quality construction and quality hardware, both of which we found to be untrue as it was not throughout all parts of the coop. The coop is still very nice and feels very sturdy but I think the quality does not match the price we paid and we received poor customer service.
