I liked shopping at this store and…
I liked shopping at this store and their clothes, but not anymore. They'd rather lose customers than help. I bought a pair of pants and when I washed them, they faded and got stained. I took them to the store and they didn't want to help me because they were old and I had already used them. It's logical that if I washed them, it's because I used them. I thought it was a responsible and trustworthy store, but they'd rather lose their customers.

I visited Chico at the Rio location on 9/16/25 because I was looking for something to wear in October when I have visitosr from S.F. Both the manager and Koshala are very helpful and I bought 3 tops and one pair of pants. One of the tops had to be sent from another store and I received it two days later. Chicos is not the same…
Chicos has been one of my favorite stores for high quality and consistent fitting clothes for a mature woman. What has changed? The quality is just not the same. What used to always fit now does not. They are not hiring enough sales people to give the customer the Chicos experience. It is like the powers to be are more worried about the bottom line of money than the faithful customers. Also, faithful Chicos customers do not usually like to wear tight fitting clothes especially around their mid section. A woman's body naturally changes with the decades. PLEASE bring back the old Chicos. Money should never be the bottom line. If all of your customers are stating similar thoughts, listen to their concerns.
Unbelievably Bad Customer Service for Online Orders

I placed an online order and paid for expedited shipping. I never received a confirmation email that the order was even received, so a couple of days later I sent a request to their customer service to find out if the order had been made properly. At that point I was sent an email saying the order had been processed and that I could now track it.
The promised delivery date came and went, and today I have been on three phone calls with customer service and two online chats and have gotten nowhere. One customer service agent told me the items have been allocated at a store in California, so I took it upon myself to call that store. They told me they don’t fill online orders out of that store, so the Chico‘s rep head lied.
Now I’m on another online chat to cancel the order entirely, and I’m being told the order can’t be canceled because it has been "processed." it hasn’t shipped, it hasn’t actually been processed as far as I can tell, but now they say they can’t cancel the order.
I’ve always had good experience with the stores, but I will never, ever order anything online from Chicos again.
I purchased pants at the Cherry Creek…
I purchased pants at the Cherry Creek Store. When I put them on a few days later, I realized they were too large. I returned to the store to request an exchange and was informed that because I had removed the tags, they would NOT accept a return of the pants. I just blew $100. This policy was never mentioned and, to be honest, I've never encountered a similar one. Chico's simply took my $100 and I received nothing but a pair of pants that do not fit.
Horrible Customer Experience
Chico's customer experience is horrible. Orders placed on the website take a very long time to be shipped and delivered. The return process is the worst. It takes them forever to process returns and provide refunds. I returned some items. Chico's confirmed they received the returns over a month ago - still no refund. I called last week and was told the refund had been processed. That was a lie. I have not received it. I won't order from them again and recommend others to avoid at all costs

If I could rate negative zero I would. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...CLOSING MY ACCOUNT AND WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN. VERY RUDE, FOREIGN CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS WHO KNOW THEY CANT BE TRACED. To add insult to injury they refuse to give me a refund for an item that I was purchasing for special event. Since it did not arrive had to scramble at last minute to find something. When I expressed my immense disappointment it was oh well! Really? I'll be spending my money elsewhere and I would strongly suggest you follow suit. Everything was fine with them until it wasn't! When it wasn't it was horrible never again!!
Try Not to Deal with Laura at Chicos Located at Jersey Shore Premium Outlets
I purchased a poncho from the Chicos outlet store in cash and the price dropped several times. When I went into the Chicos outlet store in Tinton Falls Laura refused to give me cash back. I was given a gift card which I feel is illegal. I paid cash I should have been given cash back. Laura has a bad attitude and would suggest not dealing with her. I've had problems with her before.

I purchased some items on 6/29. Upon trying them on at home, I wasn't happy with them and went to the store I purchased them at on 6/30 to return them. Their machine wasn't working correctly and they could not process the return on the same credit card I had purchased the items with. I was told I would have credit withing 2 business days. The store manager spoke with customer service about this.To date, it is now August 4th and I still do not have my refund to my credit card or on a check. It is not my fault that their credit card machine wasn't working on the day I tried to return the items.
I had to pay for the items before I could leave the store, but now that I want a refund I have to wait 4-6 weeks for my money to be returned. This just isn't fair and is not a good business practice. I will NEVER shop at any Chico's again and I have been shopping there almost since they opened their doors. You have lost at least one customer with your terrible customer service on the phone and inability to speak with someone who could expedite my refund.
I don’t have a Chicos account
I don’t have a Chicos account. I don’t know how they got my email address, but I get a daily email from them. The unsubscribe link at the bottom doesn’t work. I’ve contacted customer service several times and been told they would unsubscribe me. Still hasn’t happened. Finally spoke to someone in customer service today who looked at their policy, which says it will take “6 to 8 weeks“ after someone unsubscribes before these promotional emails stop. Hate this company and will never set foot in one of their stores again. Besides their clothes are cheesy.

I was unable to use a new customer coupon. AI unable to help and gave me a # to call. Spoke with 2 different agents and still unable to place an order. I will never attempt to make a purchase again. Either fix your computers and/or your agents.
Stay away from online ordering with Chicos!
I have ordered from Chico’s before they were bought by private equity and would get the order next day or within a week at the worst. I didn’t realize that Chico’s was sold in January 2025. Ordered from online sale and all I received was a free bag and all my other items were cancelled and no one alerted me. When I called customer service, they tried to tell me the items I ordered could be replaced with similar ite’s… ended up costing more! I figured it was a fluke, so I stupidly ordered again in early July for a July 18th event. I still have received nothing nearly two weeks later and the tracking says the dress I ordered won’t even be shipped until after the event, if at all! Stay away! This is my last Chico order.
RETURN POLICY
I returned several items June 12th and as of July 9th I had not rec'd the refund. After being in a "chat" for 45 minutes I finally got the refund forwarded to C/C. FORTY FIVE minutes!!! Chico's needs to step into the 21st century and be responsible ... it isn't as though someone has to go into a vault in the basement and dig through carton's of receipts ... so irritating. No more Chico's for me!

I recently shopped at the Chico's at Summit Mall in Birmingham, AL. I was very disappointed. The dressing rooms were dirty - dust and fluff everywhere. They had several racks of clothes marked $24.99. I picked a lightweight poncho with beading down the center of the back and front. There were several of them on the rack. They told me the price was much higher and they knew that is where they had put the ponchos. I've shopped at Chico's all over the country and I've never had anything like that happen.

Can't Cancel Unless Done within 5 Minutes of Ordering
I see all these reviews from customers who have had their orders cancelled by Chicos. It's funny because I ordered an item on Sunday afternoon and called to cancel it early Monday morning but was told I could only cancel within 5 minutes of ordering. Now I have to go through all the rigmarole of sending it back or driving 15 miles away to return it.

I purchased a bracelet a few months ago. I've since worn it twice. Both times, the latch came apart and it fell off. I called, knowing it was out of the "refund" time and told them I only wore it twice. It has a design flaw.

If I could give minus a bazillion stars I would. I was trying to order some nice things for my sister who is dying of cancer and who cannot get out to shop but who wanted some pretty things to wear to feel feminine after the devastation of the disease and treatments. I tried to place the order but Chicos canceled it because I was sending it to my sis instead of to my house. I first contacted the chat line where I learned why my order did not go through. (Different address). That person gave me free expedited shipping and told me all I had to do was call the 888 number and gove them my order number and credit card number and tell them what happened so the order could be made. After 35 minutes on hold, I reached an unpleasant uncaring person who kept telling me the order had been cancelled. I kept explaining that was why I was calling in to get the order taken care of but all she did was say that order is canceled, refused to get me to a manager and refused to do anything to help me get the order done. Chicos does not give a rats gnat about customers or about women with cancer. Disgusting customer unservice.
I ordered a two piece suit that was…
I ordered a two piece suit that was priced separately. The jacket was sent, but not the pants. I called customer service and was told the pants would be sent in 5 days, but they were not. A couple of days later I received notification that the pants were out of stock. If I don’t have the pants I don’t need the jacket, but Chico’s would not give me a refund for the jacket, because it was on clearance sale, even though they could not produce the matching pants.
