Ripped me off

Ripped me off. Ordered a bunch of stuff and they only sent a label to the package. Won’t refund because they say I received it. Contacted multiple times.

I spent a few hours on Saturday trying…

I spent a few hours on Saturday trying to put together outfits for my Grandsons. I had the help of Tab!!! This woman was very soft spoken, patient and a tremendous help. I have never experienced customer service this amazing. She helped me find the correct selection of things and I received an amazing value for my buck. Tab you can rock! A1 customer service!!!!

Shipping terrible, customer service worse.

Ordered items for my granddaughter’s birthday party (tomorrow) on 3/9, including a bday girl tee, a dress for later and a brother tee for her brother, along w other items. Still haven’t received it. I would never have ordered these had I known they would take 10 days, at least, to get here. Called customer service and received no help. Their standard shipment is USPS. I order from many US companies which all use FedX or UPS. Their estimated time for delivery is a joke. It reached the first destination (Atlanta) 7 days after I ordered. I will be canceling this credit card ASAP

What on earth is with the 40 emails sent a day DUPLICATED? Pardon? I will never order from here simply because they FILLED my inbox with promos… ruined and will never purchase anything because you are simply annoying

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, We ordered a package back on Dec 05,2024 for Christmas and paid for expedited parcel due to the Canada post strike, we were assure that the package would be delivered in 3 - 5 business days. On Dec 13th I spoke with a rep from Children's place and was told that the package was still in transition and would be delivered shortly...On Dec 18th I called again as package was not shipped yet and asked for them to cancel as it would not arrive in time for Christmas, the rep advised the package would be cancelled and I would not be charged. Fast forward to Jan 3rd package has now arrived at my house and I was charged. Requested a refund and sent the package back on Jan 05,2025. Its now Jan 23rd and I have still not received my refund even though they have had the package back for 1 week. So annoyed I will NEVER order anything from children's place ever again!

Absolutely disgusted at their prices

Absolutely disgusted at their prices. $57 for 2 sleepers? $58 for 3 pairs of NEWBORN shorts? How can anyone afford to clothe their children at these prices? It’s outrageous and ridiculous, it’s not even good quality.

TERRIBLE Order Issue Resolutions

I have been a VERY loyal customer of theirs for YEARS, but they have definitely declined in service. I have been waiting for a package for 3 weeks that appears to be in a FedEx facility (based on tracking), but FedEx claims they can't open an investigation without The Children's Place (TCP) filing a claim. Of course, TCP doesn't want to file a claim, they only offered me a PARTIAL refund instead!

I had one LARGE order (65 items) that they broke up into 4 packages; 3 arrived, 1 didn't, and it has 26 items in it. I have 4 kids and was buying matching items for an upcoming family vacation.

Now, I'll have to find out how I can return the items for a FULL refund without paying for return shipping, since I paid online. I don't want SOME of the items, I want them ALL, that's how matching works. In the past they would only offer a store credit if I paid online via PayPal and returned in store. I DON'T want a store credit because I don't want to shop with them anymore.

I ASKED them to file a claim with FedEx because my goal is not a refund, my goal is to receive my items. They just want to give me some of my money back and said I can buy them again (I used rewards that I had earned [which they won't reissue], most of the items were on sale, and MULTIPLE items are now out of stock in the sizes I ordered, so I litterally CAN'T just "repurchase" the items with the money they want to refund). OH! And they REFUSE to refund the TAXES on the items I paid for and never received!!! That is THEFT!!! I'M SO FRUSTRATED!

Stole My Money

An item was missing from my order. There is no phone # to call, so I sent an email. A month later I get a response that they will replace the item, and the I haven’t heard anything since (order placed in Oct 2024). I sent a second email and have not heard anything back. Absolutely unconscionable to take someone’s money without giving them what was paid for, and then ignoring requests to make it right.

I agree with everyone else

I agree with everyone else. Shipping takes FOREVER! I ordered clothes from Old Navy the same time I pkaced an order at Children's Place and it came in 3 days. And for the person who said to puck it up in store instead of shipping, the nearest Children's Place is approximately 68 miles away! No thanks. This company won't be around much longer.

Lies, lies and more lies

Dec 2nd I ordered 2 sets of PJs for Xmas gifts to give at family party out of town on Dec 22nd. Dec 9th the status was still processing so I called to see when the order would be shipped. I was told there was a delay in updates but it had been shipped and I would receive the parcel on the Monday (lie #1). Wednesday still no parcel and my acct still said processing so a 2nd call was made. This time I was told there was a delay in shipping. I asked for a refund at this time but was told that was not possible. I told the woman that the policy stated a refund was not possible if it was confirmed and complete but my order was processing and she had already confirmed not shipped. She asked then if I would accept a store voucher and I said no a full refund only. She said she would process and I would see the funds credited in 5-7 business days (lie #2). Dec 20th I received an email to say order had been shipped and on its way. Call made to a very noisy call centre to ask what was going on. I demanded to speak to a manager but was assured that I would get a refund and to ignore the email as it was the system updating and my order had indeed been cancelled and it was noted refund processing (lie #3). Dec 24th parcel arrived, phone call made to call centre and was reassured all calls had been documented and that I was to receive refund 5-7 days (lie #4) but if I could kindly take the parcel to my local The Children’s Place. Not a problem as full refund included the shipping costs I had paid so was prepared to return the parcel to store. Jan 6th no refund received so yet another call made. This time I was told that there was no refund because I had received the parcel! (3 weeks after order and 2 days later than when needed) At this point it’s not about saving the $7 shipping cost which I will now lose by returning the order to the store but it’s about principle and the organizations lack of trustworthy customer service reps. This is a complete gong show! The frustration I have endured with this company and the Indian based call centre is unacceptable and absolutely disgraceful. Not only does this company not follow through on their promise but also their own refund policy. If you can buy children’s clothes from other stores I highly advise!!

This company should change their…

This company should change their policies to allow returns or exchanges by providing your credit card. Instead, you have to have a physical receipt. I spent half an hour on the phone with India before I could get a copy of my receipt emailed to me in order to even make an exchange. Let’s get up to date with the times and allow returns or exchanges with your credit card! I don’t plan to shop here again.

The worst...NEVER AGAIN

We ordered 6 sets of Christmas PJs for our family on Dec 7th. When it hadn't shipped more than a week later, we called to follow up our order and were assured it would arrive by Dec 23rd. When it didn't arrive on the stated date, we called back to say cancel our order, it hasn't shipped and we want a refund as it wouldn't arrive before Christmas. We were told someone would get back to us within 24 hours...of course when they didn't, we called back again on Christmas eve and were told it's now shipped and arriving Dec 27th. No solution offered other than wait for it to arrive after Christmas then return it by mail or in store if no longer wanted. Well it's a New Year and our order still hasn't arrived....maybe it'll get here for Christmas 2025.

They'll blame it on the Canada Post strike, but reality is they didn't ship our order for over 2 weeks during the holiday season when every other business used alternate carriers to ship goods and their customer service wasted our time, on all 3 calls the information we were told was inaccurate and incorrect. Never again.

Disappointing - don’t order if you need in time!

Purchased items to wear on Christmas AFTER Canada post had already started to strike. Instead of finding another carrier to fufill, my items sat for over a month before being shipped. Now I’ll have Christmas pjs that won’t fit my kids next year. Customer service was difficult to speak to and basically lied to me each time I called saying it was on the way. Won’t be ordering again!

I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed with this store, don’t buy anything from them. They charged to my credit card twice
Now I still working in my refund. Horrible service these people are overseas hard to speak to them.

Horrible

I made a purchase in november for Christmas outfits for my girl. They said it would arrive between dec 3-13. The items shipped on november 24 (Canada post strike started on nov 15 so why would they even keep using them??). Needless to say the order wasnt on time. I just got it december 27 with a big 70$ duties extra to pay. Do not order from canada

No Christmas Pajamas, No Customer Service

I purchased Christmas pajamas on December 6th of 2024. They are not arriving until January 3rd 2025, when Christmas is over.
I tried to cancel my order but customer service said the system doesn't allow it, even though at the time it was just in the processing stage.
The Children's Place didn't tell their customers they use Canada Post for shipping and to expect delays on their website or elsewhere. Had I known, I would Not have ordered and purchased elsewhere.
They kept taking orders even though they knew shipping was an issue. They didn't chose an alternative shipping company to ensure customers had their packages before Christmas. They chose to let their customers wait it out. The Children's Place has going on like it's business as usual, even deleting complaint post about this issue on their social media, not acknowledging there was even an issue.
I will never order from them again

Horrendous customer service! Stay away!!

How this place is still in business is baffling.
I ordered Christmas clothes for my kids late November. I receive no other emails informing me of when it will arrive.
After weeks of nothing I called their customer service number. The woman wasn’t helpful in the slightest and couldn’t give me an answer if the order would arrive before Christmas. Since she couldn’t answer my questions she advised me that a manager would be calling me back later that night. NOPE.
A few days later I found Christmas pjs from Carters (should have just gone there in the first place)
So I called back and cancelled my order. She said it would take X amount of business days to see my refund back in my account. Great.
Over a week later I receive an email that my order was “shipped.”
I again, call their customer service and was told that employee “didn’t do her job right” and didn’t actually cancel my order. He wouldn’t cancel it now that it’s in transit. Are you kidding me? What am I going to do with Christmas pjs delivered AFTER Christmas? He also informs me that a manager would call me back later that night since he couldn’t help me. NO CALL ONCE AGAIN. This place is a joke.
DON’T SHOP HERE.
Buy from Carters, Old Navy, Amazon, even Walmart!
