Great experience for my 17 year old son with Gary from Chilled. Easy to book and arrange lessons, instructor very flexible including trips to Lowestoft where we had to go to get a test. Son says Gary very calm and great teacher. Passed first time ! We are so pleased that he has had this foundational instruction which will serve him for the next few decades ! After having had an intensive week long course with Will M and then another few days after completing a mock test with the in-house examiner, I managed to pass my test first time with only 2 minors!
Will and the team at chilled are an incredibly lovely bunch who genuinely care about your development behind the wheel.
Was really impressed by Will’s knowledge, support and empathy while teaching me to drive and I honestly don’t think I could have had a better instructor!

Driving has always been challenging for me. I'm not co-ordinated, nor a fast learner and certainly not confident.
But Chilled and more specifically my driving instructor Sam has done right by me at every turn (literally).

From familiarising myself with the driving seat and the controls, to learning MSPSL, to sitting the theory test, to city driving, to country roads, to dual carriageways, to the practical test and then to resitting the practical test after I failed the first time (Nerves).

I've been supported based on how I learn best. Always. I've received help developing my own methods for parallel, reverse and forward parking. I've never been critiqued or made to feel bad for asking a question. I've received endless patience when making errors and strong advice so that I don't repeat them.

It goes without saying but learning to drive is costly. The amount of time, money and effort that goes into learning ALONE is immense, let alone all the costs that come after and it can create a lot of pressure. So I think it's always hard finding the right driving school or instructor for any individual.

But... as an anxious learner, who didn't have opportunities for private practice, who struggled and failed his first test due to nerves. I assure you that Chilled can get you to where you want to be, no matter your skill level or what you think of yourself. More importantly than that, they can make sure that your driving lessons are a good, positive experience and not something you come to lament even once you've passed.

And if you happen to get Sam as your instructor, rest assured that you've hit the jackpot. Because the road knows I would've never gotten my licence without him.

Very helpful lessons and a good choice to learn to drive with. Instructors (Steve B) are friendly and have good lessons. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

I did an intensive with Will M & Martyn, both were very friendly and guided me through everything to make it feel easy, I also found the mock test with Sean made me feel much more confident ahead of my test, which I passed with 0 minors!! Thanks to everyone at chilled, I can’t recommend them enough :)

And the same can be said about their instructors, who all made me feel comfortable and safe. I learned with Will and Shaun, and Graham took me to test. They all were very knowledgeable and helpful.

A very healthy environment. Everyone I encountered spoke very highly of their coworkers, whether it was the instructors about eachother, the office or vice versa. It feels like a family, and they are all rooting for your success more than anything.

I passed with zero faults, all thanks to Chilled.

Liam was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He made my son, Ameer, feel at ease from the start and he felt comfortable being taught by him.
Liam gave him a lot of confidence and today he passed his test with no minors and we’re both over the moon. My son would highly recommend him as an instructor and expect great results and an even better experience!
