I found Chiller City Corporation after searching for HVAC refrigerants online. They had a good selection and very good prices. The ordering process was easy and my order was shipped quickly. FedEx shipping is a terrible experience. Requires signature and travel to their site for pickup. Please choose a different shipping provider. Would pay more for a better experience, my time is more valuable.

Hi Brandon, we are sorry that you had such a bad delivery experience that you felt you need to give us such a low rating for something that is beyond our control. Just so you know, there are only two package carriers that will accept Dangerous Goods (refrigerant) for delivery nationwide, FedEx and UPS. Larger quantities we can ship by multiple trucking lines. As you can see from our other reviews, most people have a good experience with FedEx, but if you ship enough packages with any carriers, sooner or later someone will have a bad one. There is no way around the signature requirement for Dangerous Goods and refrigerant is just that. There is no carrier that will delivery refrigerant to you without an adult signature for legal reasons.
It is never our intent to disappoint anyone, but we only have so many choices. If you choose to do business with us again, please let us know if you are having problems and let us try to work with FedEx on your behalf or if you order a larger quantity we can ship by alternate carriers, but for single cylinders of refrigerant out choices are quite limited.

Also, you might see a Bad reveiw about a FED-EX shipping Delay in Olive Branch, MS, and I have had the same exact experience and it had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Chiller City, its the FED-EX Olive Branch Hub. For me, Chiller City had done their part, by shipping within hours of me placing my order. That Bad Reveiw should have been a FED-EX Reveiw

Yes, pretty much all of our reviews that are not 5 star are due to delivery issues, usually beyond our control, but if you do have issues don't hesitate to contact us and we will do everything we can to resolve them. We use Fed Ex because they overall do the best job for single DG deliveries of anyone we have found. Sometimes they have a bad driver or depot, but often things like storms delay shipments that they can't control too. We really appreciate your continued business and the time you took to leave us this review.
