Do NOT get a Chime card.
I got the Chime card, not the credit card. I was using it for safety against hacking as a basic prepaid card. 2 months in I get an alert that I have missed a Chime card Payment of $20. Payment for what?? I put money in, I take money out. It's not a credit card. I still have a positive balance. I called customer service, a joke by the way and spent over 20 minutes of a guy explaining to me how it works and to keep the card. After about 30 minutes I finally got him to cancel the card and account. On a recorded line as they say. That was January. In April, I get an alert from my Transunion account that I have a credit card over 30 days past due and it dropped my credit score 40 points. It was Chime again. That I had cancelled 4 months earlier. Again I called Chime joke customer service and get a lady that barely speaks english and said yes I missed payments. I said it was cancelled back in January and she tells me it was not. I told them to pull up the phone message and listen to it, she says they cant do that. When I told them fix it or get sued, she says I would have to "reactivate my card and account" to fix it. Well are you saying now it is cancelled? No its just deactivated. It has been two weeks and I am waiting for a resolve. I filed a complaint with Transunion as well so they could investigate it.

Chime is a great banking, it has so many perks you can earn throughout the year, and you can get you paycheck 2 days early is a plus to me. I have had chime for a while and I love it.

First time using chime horrible
First time ever using chime and it was to make a purchase for shocks for my motorcycle. Come to find out I was being scammed and the person who had me send the money via chime had me send it to him basically as cash and now chime will not allow me to dispute it. So this dude Joseph johnson is just stealing peoples money using the chime app. Now I'm out money and will never use chime again

Well I used to love time but I not any more…
Well I used to love time but I switched my social security benefit payments to chime and for the last 2 months they cannot find my direct deposit. So SSA or the government or whatever switched my payments from the 4th month Wednesday of the month to the 3rd of every month.
Come March 3rd, no direct deposit, a representative told me that they would escalate it to the team that takes care of such issues , I called SSA and got a tracer number and the other information they requested through email from chime!. I sent them the information via the link they provided in the email. It took until March 31st for them to find and deposit my check. When I had called SSA I confirmed that they had sent it and the representative said yes. It was sent on the 3rd and shows process through chime on the 3rd.
During this process I sent an email asking what we could do to make sure this didn't happen in April. I never got any kind of a reply. It took almost a full month to get me my money. They had it the whole time. It was very frustrating.
Come April 3rd. No check, no direct deposit. Here we go again. I called. I had the information already. I called SSA that morning and was thinking it would be fairly easy to find it this time since they did it in March. Figured it wouldn't take until April 31st this time. I got them the information and called many times because the escalation team very rarely contacts you. Even though online it says approximately 4 hours after you upload documents. I'd gone days without hearing anything, not a word , so I called chime again and not anything against their agents, but they're pretty much useless their Frontline in these situations. When I finally get a manager they would do one thing after I had to fight to let them know that I've had all this information. We've done this already. Let's get to finding my check. I can't tell you how many different ways. They tried to tell me that my deposits were scheduled around the fourth Wednesday of the month. I finally sent them a screenshot proving that I got my payments on the 3rd.. then they tried to tell me oh I don't know many different situations and with each one I had to shoot them down. The final one was which check are you missing and I said April and she said I think it's February after we talked a bit and so I sent the team again the information they requested on both February and April. I also said bottom line I started in February. I should have three checks or direct deposits right now and there's only two. This was a week ago. I haven't heard a word from them. I still have not gotten my money from April 3rd. At this point I'm wondering like I did last month which check will come first May'sor April's ?
That's 2 months in a row that it's going to be approximately a month late before I get my check deposited from SSA. And now I have to change Banks because I do not want to go through this again. I'm sure Mays will be late as well cuz they don't do anything to do. Try in. Into the problem so it won't happen again. I believe it's because they've outsourced and gone toAI just like a lot of companies.
All I know is I'm 65. I live paycheck to paycheck. Also my dog is one of the dogs that The kibble and canned foods are killing him from the inside out so I have to keep him on. I choose Farmer's dog. It's the only thing that he eats it and everything is perfect. All his symptoms go away and he's back to being my dog again. I've already had to take him off at once due to this issue and I'm going to have to again this month. Every time I have to put him back on the kibble diet, he's acquiring more damage from his insides and there's nothing I can do about it. Right now I'm thinking of getting a lawyer if they don't get me my money and tell me something that will make me believe that they're going to try and fix this issue They clearly don't care that I'm going without money all month. I'm going to close my account and leave chime as soon as I can but it'll take 2 pay periods switch to another bank so I'm stuck and I'm not happy about it. Now I'm starting to hate them. Think twice before you use them

WELL I got an email from chime after I sent them the information they requested and they DID NOT get back to me in 48 hours like the representative promised. 4 days later I get an email saying I left one piece the proof of the deposit. How can I prove that there was a deposit when there is no depositI!! I've told them the March team sent an email saying "after thoroughly reviewing all of our interactions that they had enough of the important information to go ahead START working on my issue "My check was deposited between 48 and 72 hours later
Please tell me how I'm supposed to show proof of deposit when that's The issue that is going on, there has been no deposit !
So I have no idea when I'll see my April at least a week and God knows when I'll get my May check. Worst customer service ever

I have been with Chime for a seven year…
I have been with Chime for a seven year span. I have had my income deposited every month over those seven years except for one month. My Spot Me Limit has never increased over $90 with a potential of $500 (they advertise)then they introduced My Pay. My limit on My pay was $380 at highest and stayed in the $300 until the last several months. My income increased (direct deposits) and My Pay limits were decreased at $100 internals, without explanation (the way they work), for three months until my limit this month and to my surprise is ONLY $20.
IF** Chime is fading out and doing away with My Pay, I have not been notified nor have I read it anywhere.
Chime do better by me or I will be forced to bank elsewhere.
Chime DO BETTER must be an AI response smh. I've done jumped through your hoops and above is my current situation. Do better or I'll be forced by your hand to find better

I love Chime all in all. Super easy to work and love the new features they sneak in here and there. My only critique is the hassle of ordering a new card. It takes FOREVER to be delivered. I’d honestly pay an extra fee to have it delivered sooner. It’s not easy to go without a card for over 3 weeks.
