Horrific is an understatement.

We were picked up by Bedriven 30 minutes after the scheduled transfer time.  We were notified by WhatsApp at 17.05 that she was running 15 mins late due to traffic but we were assured we would still be at the airport in plenty of time for our flight as the traffic out of Lisbon was much less.  When she arrived she did not apologise or help with our cases.  The journey started and the music she was playing was very loud.  

To say the journey was horrific is an understatement.  Instead of taking a main route out of Lisbon city centre, she went up and down every cobbled street, stopping and starting and jerking us around in the back.  After an hour in the car we had gone round in a circle and were less than a mile away from our hotel.  We asked if we were going to make it to the airport on time and the driver said yes and rather than follow the sat nav, went alternative routes which added more time to the journey.  She then took a phone call, whilst we were in traffic and wasn't paying attention as she hit the car in front of us - adding more delay to our journey.  My son at this point was in tears as he thought we weren't going to make it to the airport or home to England!!  

After the crash, she got back in the car and again we reiterated that we were going to be late for our flight and how long did she think it would be before we got to the airport.  To which she decided 'I don't speak English'.  We eventually got to the airport, my son in tears, at 18.42 (our flight was at 19.50).  We got out the car and she got out shouted at us and said 'I hope you all have a horrible flight home'.

Having paid for this service I am appalled by the treatment we received from this driver.  She was rude, drove badly and was distracted by her phone on more than one occasion.

After so many bad reviews

After so many bad reviews, we have to say that the pickup at the airport was very punctual and the driver was friendly. The pickup at the Hotel Fenix ​​Music was also very punctual, and the driver was also very friendly. The only thing we found a bit disturbing was the cigarette smell in the vehicle. Still, we give it full marks.

Avoid if you don't want to be waiting…

Avoid if you don't want to be waiting around for ages for your taxi after you've landed.
Booked airport transfers. Was late picking us up on return. Had to wait for half an hour with 2 elderly people, a disabled person and a child at 1.30am after a 5 hour flight.
They lied about how long taxi was going to be as I was following the tracking app and times were vastly different. Plus it should have already been there as it was precooked and was told that he would be following our flight number and be there waiting when we landed. This was not the case. Hugely frustrating and disappointing service. Will not be using again and wouldn't recommend

To be avoided

Absolutely not! They picked us up at the airport and made us get out of the car 5 minutes later because they supposedly didn't have a child seat. But we had already booked everything. As a result, they shamelessly left us on the platform with my wife and 6-year-old daughter. No sense of humanity. Take a cab and you'll be less disappointed. Or even a bike, scooter or roller skates! To be avoided, unless your aim is to have a bad vacation as soon as you arrive!

Great experience

Really surpised to read some bad reviews. We have a great experience with Choice Cars from Lisbon Airport, arranged through booking.com. Our driver, Alfredo, was ready and waiting for us when we finally got through Arrivals. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and spoke great English, handy as we don't speak Portuguese. We had a flawless journey to our city-centre hotel.

If I could give a 0 star rating I…

If I could give a 0 star rating I would.
Paid in advance for no service!

Gave flight details and driver was suppose to wait for 45 minutes after flight arrival. He left after 35 minutes, without us. Rang the Luis Rosa driver several times, and his phone was off, text him and no reply.

Rang customer service. No help, refund, apology or explanation given.

Booked a taxi with booking.com

Booked a taxi with booking.com, who use this company. They are useless and inflexible and take advantage of the tourist trade. Avoid at all cost, literally, it will cost you. And booking.com are just as bad as they cannot and will not manage their supply chain. Tried to change the booking from 12 to 11, an hour earlier and they said that they don't have a driver available at 11. And refused to cancel the 12 o'clock appointment. This was done through booking.com!!!!

Avoid!

I booked a taxi to get from Oporto city to the airport... it never arrived... I called, was put on hold, called back, no answer... had to grab a taxi on the street as now running late... called approx 15 times that evening, without an answer. Looked for a refund the next day and told to contact the booking agent... two weeks on and still going in circles... will never use again...
