I have been a customer of Chubb for 10 years, I paid monthly by direct debit
My initial payment went from £12 to £18 between September 2016 and December 2024, it then doubled to £37 until June 2025 I did not notice this as I had not looked at my bank statements for a while and I had not been notified of this large change to my monthly payments by Chubb. I contacted their Customer service who said they would look into it, After a few days they said I could change to a unmonitored package but I had already been on this package for the last 7 years, I then decided to cancel Chubb altogether, I got an email saying I was due a £97 rebate, On making enquiries about receiving my rebate, I was told by email saying I actually owed them £13.60, Then I got a demand for £37.35 that I owed them, On contacting them again they said they would pass it onto their Scottish Branch for Further investigation, I knew this to be a waste of time as they had told me this a few times during this farce and the Scottish branch never ever got in touch, I then got a final demand from a debt collection agency acting on Chubbs behalf on the same day I got another letter from Chubb.
I decided to pay them the £37.35 although I did not owe this to them just to be done with this money grabbing horrible company who staff don’t seem to be singing from the Same hymn sheet. Good Riddance Chubb from a very unhappy customer

Chubb communication was shocking as in no response to emails, no telephone call nothing at all
They sent credit note but apparently no credit due.Credit notes are not generated if there is no credit. Communication absolutely shocking.It was like I was invisible.

Fraudulent people and scammers opinion

Despite being clients for 14 years the customer service from this company is insulting - literally and figuratively. We could deal with the basic service but when you pay 400 Euros plus for a yearly service over and above the monthly fees you don't expect the company to charge €37.40 per Lithium 9V special ultra life battery, when these batteries can be purchased online at nkon.nl for 6.95. We needed 6 batteries. So our battery invoice was €250 including the 9V batteries we also needed. When we challenged this we were told they look after their batteries better and they are sorry we don't understand their maths. Unbelievable! So they lost another client. They are bleeding clients at the moment because their service is so bad. This is a terrible local representation of an international brand.
